The hotel in genaral is pretty good, facilities on highest standard but... The air conditioning in rooms does not change a thing - it was extremly hot in the rooms - not only in ours (our friends on different floor on different side of the hotel had the same problem). Staff on the reception and room service were very polite but those and the restaurants were somewhow inpolite and unprofessional. Waiter in the ”fancy” restaurant treated us like a guests of second category - he had problem with everything and we had to wait extremely long for our dishes. Waitress in the main restaurant tried to take our plates while we were eating (asking if we already finished). This is pretty strange when you look at prices - it was very expensive as for such meals. The pool and the spa were great and especially the life guard who was extremely helpful (very nice older man).

My partner and I were visiting family and decided to stay here as it was close. We initially booked 3 nights but extended with another 3 nights. It was simply amazing. We did not have any expectations but from the moment we arrived till the moment we left we enjoyed the hospitality which was offered at this hotel. For me it is always the people who make or break a stay and at Kolumna they were all extremely friendly and hospitable. Nothing was too much and they always thought 2 steps ahead in order to accommodate whatever your need is. Very much appreciated! Our room was 222 and it was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Than the food. OMG! Now during corona they have breakfast boxes but that might even be better than a regular buffet. Delicious options and all can be picked up in sustainable packaging. The Bao's from the Asian menu we ordered three times and they were ridiculously good. I realize my review sounds like a paid advertisement but sinecrely we really enjoyed our stay and were simply surprised with the amazing guest and procuct experience delivery. We will stay here again next time. Also..... I mostly stay at 5 star hotels and the service and food of this hotel is definitely on a 5 star level!.

The hotel's single rooms are very good and cost-effective. The toilet and bathroom are shared, but they are very hygienic and clean, and there is no problem at all. Free coffee and tea are provided. There are sofas in the lobby of the hotel where you can sit and relax. English at the front desk is also very good. Wall crack recommended.

We stayed here for one night at the weekend, the room was nice and clean, liked the decor, the bathroom towels were falling apart though! The lady on reception was nice however we went to the restaurant to get a table for two and the guy who worked in the restaurant was extremely rude for no reason at all. The restaurant was full apparently after being told to go down and get dinner, so we asked where else locally we could go, he said he didn’t know… ‘I don’t know’ offered nothing else… I asked the two women working with him (who were not busy at this moment) then said they didn’t know. Rude and unhelpful and very awkward! We left and the receptionist called us a taxi and we went to an amazing restaurant called Brednia about 5 minutes away. Food and drinks there and service wonderful! Came back to our room (17) Couldn’t get to sleep as there were really loud groups in the lobby which was next to our room. A call to reception didn’t help and the noise carried on. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend sadly.

Hinton is always Hilton, negative remark the employee (lady) at the reception. I was 25 min late for the check out, and she called me and invite me yo leave the room immediately. I asked if i could use a conference room or some quiet place for a conference call and she said NO, i motivated my request because the music was loud in the hotel Hall and she just replied , it is what it is. Pity as hotel is amazing , i have been here 3-4 times already and i geel sorry to write such a review just because of one employee.

3 night stay with two other couples. Rooms clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and lovely pillows. Second time we have used and would definitely use again. Well located on Piatrowska. Secure parking for 50PLN (£10) per day. Fabulous breakfast with as much choice as you could expect. Lovely coffee machine which we always find is a good indicator of a hotel 😀. Very reasonable price with breakfast compared to other similar hotels in Łódź. Highly recommended for short stay!

I have been several times in this hotel for the good location very near to the city center but overall for the excellent attitude of the staff. I would like to congratulate the GM in the hotel Mr Daniel Dzierba for the great work already done in the hotel and training to his staff....All of them are well prepare to solve any situation to satisfy a demanding guest like me.

The hotel is centrally located and very convenient. It is also next to a large park for walks or runs. The rooms are comfortable and have good amenities ... nothing was missing from my point of view (even had an iron which is not as common in Poland). For me, it was on top of a tram stop and it was easy to get to my client every day. Breakfast starts at 7 am and this was perfect. There is a great choice of hot and cold food and great breads. Easy walk to ”Centrum” and not hard to get to and from the airport.
