I need a new vocabulary. Having previously used all the superlatives to describe other resorts, I need new ones, as this is an order of magnitude beyond all previous resort vacations. The physical resort, the food, the service, the diving, the attitude of the staff, everything. I was met at the airport, guided through the ferry terminal, picked up at the ferry landing, taken to the resort, and greeted by name, by everyone, all week. At no time was I ”just another dollar”, and at no time was any member of the staff less than entirely cheerful and helpful. I could get used to this, real easy... It's as if I were a valued guest, instead of just a customer. Imagine that. To make this shorter for those who don't want to read the rest of this... I began my plans to return on the way home. I rarely go anywhere outside of the USA twice, (been there, done that..) Not this time. I am going back and I will bring as many friends as I can. It's 14 hours on a jet from LAX to Manila, and 4 more hours after that. I hate travel, but this was worth it. I'll take Philippine Airlines again next time too. They don't treat you like cattle, sheep or dirt. I have now felt respect while travelling, and I like it! The flight wasn't so bad. I am 6” tall, weight 240, and was comfortable in economy. Free wifi, a tv with free movies, tv shows, music..etc.. a very pleasant flight, in both directions. Food OPTIONS! You get to choose. Wow. On arrival at Marco Vincent, I was greeted by name, shown my room, a crate was outside my door to put my dive gear in, it was the last time I handled it all week. My room was large, extremely clean, super comfortable with a small fridge full of water, a table w 2 chairs, a big shower, AC unit, very firm mattress, spotless soft white sheets, a 32” TV with plenty of channels and it was quiet. All meals were as good as I have had anywhere. This place only has 32 rooms, so the buffet menu is not extensive, but I always found more than enough of what I like to eat. The quality and presentation was always top notch. The quality of the food extends to the dive boat, Big Beth. They have a chef aboard and those meals are the same quality as at the resort. Remember, this is a day boat, and they have a chef aboard serving freshly made gourmet meals. (Sure beats grabbing a sandwich at Walmart on the way to the lake....) The diving itself was like nowhere else. I saw things I didn't know existed.. an electric clam? WOW! Nudibranchs, mantis shrimp, lion fish (where they belong), a few octopi, at least three, maybe five, different morays, frogfish, giant clams, miniature seahorses, scorpionfish, colors that I can't describe...more different fish than I could list in a week... Every dive was something new, and all conducted from a really nice boat, the nicest boat I saw there. Big, clean, outfitted for diving with camera stations, charging stations, camera tanks, full emergency gear, oxygen, AED. not to mention the galley where the chef w
Huge disappointment. I had selected this hotel to take advantage of its immediate seaside location. But the strange layout of the hotel means that most of the rooms overlook the corridor, requiring the curtains, which are blackout curtains, to be closed. Result: from a super bright room with possibly a sea view that you were hoping for, you find yourself in a completely dark room. There is therefore no point in being by the sea. (Photos taken with the door open and curtains open).
The general quality of the hotel is average, and the prices charged are therefore excessive.
Room size ok, but:
- no chair or table available. You only have your bed to sit on, eat, work,...
- noisy air conditioning, which you therefore cannot leave running at night if you want to sleep properly.
- wardrobe, but no coat rack in it.
- a refrigerator, but which does not get cold, or even heats up.
- no shower gel available in the shower
No problem with cleanliness. Good quality bedding also.
Simple breakfast, served on a plate.
Not a hotel where I will return and which I do not necessarily recommend either.
It is suitable for children, the pool can be played casually, and there is a small kayak that can be easily drawn. Breakfast is free and there are many kinds to choose from. But the menus are all in English, you need to download the English quick translation to order. The environment is very good, you can see it by opening the video yourself. Suitable for vacation and leisure, not suitable for too busy. A little distance from the white sand beach. But traveling can let the hotel call the tug.

The hotel has steps to climb, which can be troublesome if you have bad legs and feet, but it is no problem for young people. The price/performance ratio is very good. The rooms are small, and some have sea views. The disadvantage is that the dog barks behind the room, and you go out to beat the dog in the middle of the night. It is worth mentioning that I was diving at the Redang Dive Shop. This dive shop is very close to Redang and can be reached in just one minute. Diving is very convenient. However, the Jasmine Hotel opened by their dive shop is super far away. Food and water in the room are very expensive. It is recommended to buy them in the store downstairs.
Booked two rooms for our stay. We have total of 6 adults and 1 child. Room #7 is adequate for my family. Room #2 got the big bed (king size), this one is different, the sink is outside the comfort room. (this is funny). The cleaners are very nice and polite including the reception. I woke up in the middle of the night around 2:30 am because of a man on the phone just in front of the balcony. So yeah, messes my sleep for sure. In the morning, i dont wake up because of my alarm, it is because of noises coming from outside even with that glass enclosure MAN! You can hear them. They love to talk loud in front of the porch. These are locals. They like the shade in front of the rooms. Couple of them talk loudly. And then when you go out to enjoy your coffee then they start to bother you. You need boat? Island hopping and on and on.. my God! The hotel have generator which is a good thing because ”Ursula typhoon” was in Mindoro last week. Wifi is not strong enough. When the signal on the TV is out, wifi is out too. I only have the chance to connect on and off to wifi from 23-24 of Dec. then from 25-26 no WIFI. So if you're looking for a reliable wifi, maybe this hotel is not for you or bring your own. Even we are at the front beach i dont think that the beach is clean enough. So No! we didn't go swimming.
The hotel is beautiful, the location is very remote, suitable for the elderly, hahahahahaha, go out to the sea, and, at night, you can see the stars, the best is to see the meteor, really beautiful, although quiet and remote, but Still have a lot of foreigners to choose from, very beautiful

The front desk is on the third floor of the same building as the erotic gogo near the main story of Sabang Beach. There is a 7/11 for shopping and a laundry shop about a 5-minute walk away. If you drop it off in the morning, it will be ready by the evening. It costs 300 yen for a two-seater tricycle from the port, and 400 yen for a four-seater tricycle on the way back! The restaurant is currently closed. I bought groceries at 7/11 and ate in my room. Two bottles of water are provided free of charge every day, and you can get free water at the front desk, which was very helpful. There was a screen on the balcony. The soap doesn't lather well. It's a shame that there is no pool.

GGuest UserNew hotel with quality services
Charming and very helpful staff
Beautiful swimming pool
Provision of bath towels and free shuttle service to the beach
Less than 10 minutes walk from the seaside restaurants and the white beach
I highly recommend this hotel
GGuest UserAbsolutely cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's a litte further down the sea front but tucked away from the noise while still being right on the water. The room was immaculate and spacious, cleaned everyday and (surprisingly) mosquito-free. The resaurant offers fantastic food at a great price and the whole place has a family run vibe. And it's this that I rate so highly about the place. I was solo travelling over the Christmas holiday and the ladies that run the hotel were so so welcoming and friendly. They offered for me to join their Christmas dinner and kept breakfast open to me 15-20 minutes late so I could catch the 9am dive and still eat when I came back. They were all so lovely, it didn't feel like I was alone over the festive period. If I am ever to visit PG again, I'll 100% be staying at Out of the Blue.
Thank you so much fo rhaving me and for all the laughs.

BBlockAmazing staff, extremely friendly and very professional. Right on the beach, although the beach is a little dirty, not so nice. However, it's a cheap ride to the beautiful White Beach. The spa attached to the resort was also great! Food was good. Would definitely recommend!
MMateja BokanThis is a very cute place to stay! The staff was very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the stay overall was enjoyable. The room was generally clean, with some details overlooked (like previous guest's receipt on the floor and a few other papers around the room, one of the towels was a bit dirty). The hotel only provides a toothbrush and a toothpaste (and shampoo and shower gel in the shower), but I found the lack of a bar of soap disappointing. The location is great, the hotel is right at the beach, and easily accessible. The hotel cafe is adorable, serves good food, and the staff is friendly and polite. As for the provided breakfast, I could choose from the breakfast menu at the cafe, and coffee was served directly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this adorable hotel to anyone visiting, it's charming and worth staying in!
YYAFANGThe position is a little bit off
There is a dive shop in the hotel
There are ow courses in the swimming pool most of the time
The restaurant on the second floor serves Chinese food most of the time
It is recommended to take a boat from the ferry
GGuest UserIn a bay, quiet, with just the right amount of waves.
There is a private beach, quiet, children can play all day.
Snorkeling is available as soon as you enter the water, the water is clear, and there are many colorful fish.
The boss's cooking skills are amazing, and the coconut chicken soup is endless.
Bring your friends and come on a vacation, it's really fun.
BbiggixerWe stayed for 5 nights at Belleview Cottages and had a very relaxing time. The cottage was basic but functional. It had aircon (which we didn't use) a fan and a fridge and was very clean. There was a good WiFi signal throughout. We had a balcony with a relaxing chair/lounger which was perfect for soaking up the view. The small on-site restaurant served very good food at a reasonable price. The breakfasts were notably good, with coffee available free. The owner, Nellie, is such a lovely person to talk to, making you feel welcomed and at home. Do be aware there is an unavoidable steep flight of steps (over 100 but we didn't count them) to get to the elevated cottages. This may trouble some people. If you want quiet, relaxation, a great view, but close to the hustle and bustle of Sabang we would recommend Belleview. We will definitely return. Jim & Susan
GGuest UserThe outdoor pool, surroundings, garden, and amenities are fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the themed architecture, landscape, and even the common bathrooms within the castle. The availability of free amenities like the billiards, table tennis, and a gym added to the overall experience. The Wifi is also okay.
However, if you have a car, be aware that parking is quite limited and occasionally locked due to its location in front of a house with a narrow gate. Clear instructions about parking are necessary, as maneuvering on the small road can be challenging. It took them a while to provide clear instructions for the parking.
There's room for improvement in cleanliness, especially with bedsheets that had a lingering smell, possibly indicating insufficient drying. Additionally, the water kettle and cups seemed like they hadn't been washed thoroughly.
Overall, my family enjoyed their stay there and with more improvements and the staff being more responsive before and during the stay would even make this place even better.
HHammangPros:
Just a few steps from the beach and restaurants
Nice people in the front desk
Clean place
Strong internet
Cons
Bed is hard
Blanket is small
Breakfast is serve already and you need to get what they served
TV videos or channels are not clear
AaldenZhaoCost-effective, cheap during the May Day holiday. Internal hygiene is good, towels and other supplies are dehaired, toothpaste, toothbrush and shampoo are charged, it is best to bring your own. Very close to the beach, 3 minutes walk, there are many diving clubs next to it. Surrounding dining is also OK, Korean restaurants are not bad.
