Find the Cheap Twizel Hotels

The new house was only available to customers in November 2017. The key should be taken at the holiday home near the city center. Ctrip is not clearly marked. The clerk was very nice and even gave candies to the children. It was right by the lake. The room was very comfortable. Although there was no breakfast, there was a kitchen where you could make your own breakfast and dinner. After dinner, it was very convenient to take a walk by the lake. The water was very hot and the room was big.

Twizel is very much a summer destination so the hotel offers accommodation only We were warmly welcomed and immediately told that neither the restaurant nor the bar would be open. As Twizel was just our overnight stop on our way from Christchurch to Queenstown this was not a major issue. It became no issue at all when it was pointed out that Poppies cafe and restaurant was just across the street from the hotel We were given a local map and we were recommended a restaurant for our evening meal a short drive away. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is away from the town centre so it was very quiet. We got a good night's sleep. Poppies lived up to its billing and the brunch set us up for the day's drive. While I have deducted one star for the lack of onsite catering it was not an issue for us. I would certainly be happy to return to the hotel in the summer and stay for a few days to explore the town and its surroundings.

The landlord was very nice. When I arrived, I found that the car had a flat tire and no spare tire was found. The next day, because the phone call was exhausted, the dealer contacted the landlord directly, and the landlord asked the dealer to deliver the tire directly. The room is overall very clean, spacious, and the location is very convenient. Located in the small town of Twizel, 47 minutes from Mount Cook and quite close to Lake Pukaki. The people in this small town are very nice~ However, I want to complain to Ctrip. My father and I had to sleep separately in the double bed and single bed booked on the system. However, when we arrived at the hotel, we found out that Ctrip had assigned us a double bed in the hotel system, which made it inconvenient for us at night. Bad reviews on Ctrip.

We booked for one night on booking.com for 31st December 2023. My credit card was charged immediately. The next day Glenna from the motel text me to say I would need to cancel my booking because they have a minimum 4 night stay over that period. She blamed it all on booking.com that I was able to book that date and never took any responsibility herself. I was made to feel like I had done something wrong?! The terms and conditions clearly said if I cancelled I wouldn’t receive a refund. Yet she asked me to cancel from my end (presumably to save on a penalty charge she would receive from booking.com). I said I thought the booking should still be honoured in the circumstances. She declined and then cancelled the booking from her end. I asked how I get my refund, she said I would need to contact booking.com and made no effort to assist me with that at all. The customer service was terrible and we will not stay here again or recommend it to others - we had previously stayed here. I am still now waiting on my refund!

A very cost-effective motel in the small town of Twizel. The Four Square supermarket is just opposite and within walking distance. There are also gas stations and places to eat. It is a very good accommodation choice when visiting Mount Cook. Although the room is very old and the lighting is dim, for less than 580 yuan, you may only be able to stay in a campsite without an independent bathroom in the same area. It was very good for one night's transition. I don't know why the rating is not high, so you can stay here with confidence.

Superb Lodge, amazing place with tasteful rooms. Mel and Marc are fantastic hosts who take excellent care of their guests. They cook a fantastic breakfast which keeps you going all day. This place is a must stay when you visit the southern part of New Zealand. We definitely would recommend you to stay with Mel and Marc.
