The most surprising hotel this time, we arrived at night, just want to say, drive the darkest night road, see the most beautiful starry sky. Lying on the lounge chair on the edge of the lawn, I felt like I was in the stars and the sea. The best part was that I saw a meteor for the first time in my life, long and short, across the sky. I woke up in the morning and found that the hotel has a great view, with the golf course at the door, and the sea view. Suitable for couples, family trips. Location About 10 minutes' drive from Kaikoura town, self-driving recommended
It is highly recommended to stay. If you have a plan to go to Kaikula, it is more like a must-see attraction. Because it will give you a different travel experience. The landlord is too enthusiastic. This is a warm cabin. You see the price of the whole building, so it is actually not expensive and the scenery view is very good. I can let the landlord show you around her farm and play with her pets, I miss them already. Don't doubt, book quickly, and have a whole building.
This was the most memorable stay during my 9-day trip to New Zealand.
The host is a farmer who raises all sorts of animals. When we arrived in the afternoon, he warmly welcomed us. Considering that we might be afraid of his two very adorable dogs, he thoughtfully locked them inside the house first and only let them out after asking us. Knowing that we had to leave at 7:00 in the morning the next day, he took us to feed the animals in the afternoon as an unexpected treat.
What touched us deeply was that we were the only guests that day, and the grandfather still got up early to prepare a very lavish breakfast for us. When he noticed that we were almost full, he kindly reminded us not to eat too much before going out to sea, which was very moving. The room was super clean, fully equipped with tissues, an electric blanket, and an oil heater. Opening the glass door in the room leads to a bright balcony, which is really amazing.
Lastly, I wish the grandfather and his entire family good health and happiness.
The hotel faces the sea and is backed by the snow-capped mountains. The scenery is very beautiful. The house is clean and hygienic, and the kitchen utensils are complete. It is a good choice to stay in such a hotel when you come to Kaikula.
Including breakfast, of course not as rich as the hotel, but for B&B, it is already very good
The room we booked cannot accommodate an extra bed, but our husband and wife brought children over 4 years old to live well. There is no extra charge for children staying.
The room has a small terrace with a nice view
The landlord has a dog and a cat, very cute
The lodging location is not in the center of the town, but the town itself is not big, so it doesn't matter if you drive. A few hundred meters to the supermarket. Drive 5 minutes to the whale watching and embarkation point.
It is a small homestay with a total of three or four rooms. It takes more than five minutes to drive to the main street of Kaikoura. The surrounding environment is beautiful and quiet, with a large backyard. The facilities are complete and the living is very comfortable. The hostess is also very hospitable and thoughtful. Unfortunately, I stayed for one night and I would like to stay a few more days next time. If you come to Kaikula, I recommend this place.

Host was super nice and friendly (forgot to ask for his name π), and he personally guided us and taught us how to use the laundry and gave good recommendations around the area!
We stayed in a group of 4 and the motel had everything we needed! Super comfy and clean as well! Would definitely recommend anyone passing by, itβs definitely worth the price.
Only regret was not staying longer! Thanks for the wonderful stay!
