We have searched for a cheap hotel for two nights in Florø in the short term and we have hit the Kinn Hotel. Location: The hotel is located in a quiet residential area of Florø. With the car, it is 5 minutes to the village center. Because the hotel is on a side street, it is not very easy to find. But with Google Maps or Navi no problem. Hotel: At first glance, the hotel reminds a small hospital or age centre. Eventually, was it once? In any case, the hotel is simple and functionally furnished. Great found that there is a small outdoor terrace which is 24 hours accessible and where we could breakfast each. Room: The room was also functionally furnished, with little or no decoration. A plus was the large flat-screen TV as well as the bathroom with walk-in shower and heated floor. Gastronomy: Breakfast was the highlight of our stay. The buffet overtrumped all the other 3 and 4-Sterne hotels of our three-week trip through Norway. From cutting and dry meat to different cheeses to smoke salmon, everything was available that the heart wanted. Also egg food and other hot meals did not miss. Even pizza pieces and cakes were there. It missed nothing. Top! Service: The foreign staff at the reception was courteous, but not particularly friendly. No person serving us spoke Norwegian. Therefore, English is a must. Conclude: The price-performance ratio is correct. For one or two nights we would stay here again.
A true gem in Norway! This hotel impressed me from start to finish and deserves the full five-star rating in my opinion. The quality and service here is on par with a top-notch five-star hotel, and it far exceeded our expectations. We were particularly impressed by the receptionist Erik. His humor and flexibility made our stay special. Erik was always keen to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His warm nature and sense of humor helped make us feel at home. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious food, and the location of the hotel is just perfect for exploring the beauty of Norway. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Quality in Norway. It is a wonderful place for an unforgettable stay. Thank you to the whole team and especially to Erik for the excellent hospitality
