Find the Cheap South Seberang Perai Hotels

Considering there’s more and more institutions, industries and factories here in Batu Kawan, The Upper House served as the only hotel currently at this area, so definitely suitable to those might coming here for business/work trip. Or even for people who just want to get a rest place and explore the mainland of Penang like me. They have room catered for solo traveller and it is very spacious for one person like me. Big and comfortable bed with smart TV in the front. There’s work desk beside as well. Lots of plugs and USB chargers in the room, with amenities like safe, small fridge, dryer and water basin. There’s also space to keep your big luggage under the bed. The toilet and bathroom are combined together, so it is total spacious inside. The heater however can reach warm only at the maximum for my room. Unlike most hotel with carpet flooring which is soft when your foot step on it, here like stepping on concrete and unpleasant for me. I would recommend you to prepare additional sock to wear. The air conditioning in the room is not quiet enough for me when sleeping, as it will produce sound even I have set it lower. But the cold temperature is good for me. Although the location is located conveniently in this new township, there’s not a lot of eating places around here, unless you go to Design Village or IKEA. Also it is very hard to walk around here. The commercial area in front of the hotel was a consider a ghost town, but hopefully it will get better in future; since this is a very new area. If you are staying here, do remember to check out their swimming pool at the rooftop as well.

Cant stand for yellow shower head

Hotel is good. Near KTM station, just walk 8 min only. Areound hotel have a few restoran..

This hotel has the best ‘pekan’ location in Parit Buntar with CU, KFC and Family Mart just down the building. Mosque is just cross the street if we there for Raya celebration. Unfortunately, the hotel is really bad for the price. It doesn’t matter if the hotel is ayam type, but charging with nearly RM300 per night for hotel ayam is really bad. Upon c/in, the receptionist is really like gangster kampung with serious face all the time. Probably because has to work during malam raya. The room is really weird with office type lamp and not comfortable. At night time we can hear rempit across the street. Because the window is not sound proof, it is really hard to sleep at night because the noise from the street.

Very minimum facilities in the room. The room was smelly when first entered. TV was facing downwards, No pail or water hose in the toilet, only provided a bucket. No tissue paper, need to request separately. Iron board on request but only iron box given without the board. Worst thing was, there were cockroaches in the room 😱😱😱 Extra rules imposed with penalty too.

Location strategic. A lot of shop besides this hotel. Cheap and value for money.Room and toilet are so clean.room are big and so comfortable and quiet. Great stay here.Will come again..never regret...
