The good - Good location as plenty of eateries within walking distance The bad - AM shift staff could have been friendlier and more accommodating - Unfriendly staff was not aware that our room was not ready - the door was left open and the room was obviously not clean and maintained. Bed sheets were messy. Did not proceed to enter said room. - Unfriendly staff did not apologise for the situation and proceeded to check-in another room for us. - Entered another room. Pillows and bed sheets were stained. Room was obviously not cleaned properly as we could still literally smell the odour left behind from previous customers - whatever they were doing as the hotel has a 3-hourly rate for RM50 which we later discovered. - Did not proceed to stay for the night and decided to book another place nearby.

Everything was provided and easy communication with the staff and fast response.
It also a clear and convenient place to stay.
The parking rate is only RM1.10 per day!
Many convenience store inside the building like Bila-bila mart and coin laundry it is easy for me to buy some snack food.

The environment is good, got YouTube and Netflix for free, also an oven is provided. But the kettle is already spoiled, the bed, plates, and floor are not clean enough, and also self check-in and out is not convenient for customers, as the check-in and out place is really hard to find, and also the parking fee is a bit expensive.

Only there is no front desk service, and I encountered obstacles when I checked in on the first day.

It's really hard to explain. The apartment faces the highway, and even if we live on the 20th floor, it's still very noisy. Noisy from morning till night. The other thing is that, someone downstairs said it, but this should be respected. The room itself is large and the basic facilities are OK. In addition, the check-out time requirement is 10 am.

The hotel is very comfortable and located in a convenient place. The staffs are very friendly. The room is considered quite big. I will definitely come again to this hotel if I'm in the area. Overall, the hotel is very much recommended to stay as it is cheap and very satisfying to stay.

This is my first time booking the Avante hotel in PJ. The hotel is very new and modernized. I enjoyed the gym very much. The clients need to go to the counter to get a QR code before using the gym which is about 10000sq. ft. Including the infinity swimming pool. Moreover, the hotel is closely linked to the 1 Utama shopping center with more than 700 shops. Last but not least, it is close to the Banda Utama MRT station. That’s why I gave full rating to Avante!

Very Good
HhyphaeOverall is good but the sound insulation is bad to be honest.
Even is a non-smoking room or area but the smell of smoke still enter my room. I think it was came from the emergency exit. Quite bad experience.
The towel was dirty, please bring your own.
The air-conditioning was under expected.
Near to Sunway pyramid, 99 mart and some pharmacy.
Overall is 3✨ for me.
Don't order the indomee goreng at Pelita, taste worst

GGuest UserAsked for late check 5pm out cos we checked in at 1am, e-mail replied saying no problem. but ended up charged us 141rm for late checkout saying they say no problem but didn’t say no need to pay. Asked to speak with the manager, the poor recept called someone (i assume the boss) but boss didn’t want to speak with us. we left the room for medical appointment at alpha since 10am and we hired an alphard to drive us from sin to kl (2d1n) and back so we could have easily loaded the 1 piece of luggage we had if we knew they are going to charge us. Details: checked in 19th sep past 12 midnight and left hotel at 19th sep 10am leaving only one piece of luggage in the room nothing else. came back to check out at 430pm. Booked a family room with two queen beds for myself, wife, son and a queen room for my helper. location wise the strand mall has nothing open, the mall is 98% unoccupied but it is convenient if you’re visiting alpha ivf as it’s walking distance.

NnovgalStayed in a Deluxe Queen with no window room. Room was a tad tiny but it served its purpose if you just need a room to rest and shower before heading out to your destination. Simple breakfast was included such as scrambled eggs, mushroom omelette and roti canai set. They even had toast, jam and butter. However, I would prefer if the bathroom had shower curtain or glass sliding door. Else, the floor would always be wet due to water spillover once someone showered. Anyway, this hotel is recommended since it is nearby to shopping mall such as 1Utama, The Curve and IKEA.

JJimmyThe rooms is good..clean and very New..like it a lot. Compare to other hotel which in Kl area so far this is the better than most of it..price wise also reasonable. Just the parking is public parking. Need to keep a look out if u r not leaving before 8am in the morning..

It's old and has alot of character(s) The cleanliness is not bad but you can definitely see the age showing through the apparent stains and cracks littered around. Checking in was quick albeit the lack of air-conditioning upon entering. Entering the lift felt like going back in time. The top floor ”P” is doesn't really stand for (P)ool rather is a ”wellness centre” with ”massages” for RM98 with the option to have said ”massage” in your room. Do what you will with that information. The floor which I was on smelt like a smoky pub. The room itself smelt fine and was actually pretty nice and had a vintage ambiance with the mirror and painting along with the light fixtures and wood trimming. My room had a window which couldn't be opened but still allowed sunlight thru. The air-conditioning is also dated but it was cold enough. The beds were clean but I did find a strand hair which wasn't mine 🤣. Toilets were not bad. The place is old and is definitely in need of refurbishment but for a place to lay your head and have some shut eye it's alright. If you're germaphobe it's probably out of the question.

RRelax437021.The towel and quilt is not clean, I got red spots on my whole body from the first day.When I checked out and try to negotiated this case with staff, at that time I didn't wanna anything but a say. They showed non respect attitude, they don't care about the case and they 100% don't want to be responsible. After stay I went to hospital, doctor said it was because I used unclean towel. It was very severs, so I can only ask sick leave for 1 week from work. Because the attitude and responds I got from hotel, this time I asked booking.com help me to go and negotiate for me, but the booking get the same answer, the hotel don's not possible to open the door. 3. Extremely low cost performance! The price I paid doesn't equals the room and service I get. Strongly don't recommend!!!!! 1. The towels and quilt sheets of the hotel were not clean and I developed a red rash after the first night of my stay. I tried to communicate with the staff and their supervisors on this matter when I checked out. I didn't mean to pay for it, I meant to say it, but the attitude they gave me from their staff and supervisors was that they didn't care what happened after I checked in, and they didn't want to take any responsibility. After the trip I went to the hospital and the doctor replied after the diagnosis that it was caused by the use of the hotel's dirty towels. Because the rash was so bad, I was able to ask for a week's sick leave and it had a very big impact on my work. After the doctor's diagnosis, I communicated directly with the hotel before, and the hotel gave a disrespectful attitude. This time I let booking.com come forward to help me communicate this thing. The result was the same. The hotel was completely irresponsible. I said that it would strengthen health management. I was very disappointed with this sense of responsibility and hygiene of their hotel staff. 2. The room was very, very small. Even if you bring the boarding box, you can't open the door when you open the boarding box. 3. Very low cost performance! Highly not recommended!!!

GGuest UserIt first time experiencing self checking hotel. The instruction given by email is not clear. Just ask you to call them before arriving.
I have never experience such self checking and it will be a good practice if the hotel is to give us specific instruction email and we need to pay deposit online before allow to check in. It took me almost 45 mins to check in. Further to this i was given a room that has not been cleaned and it was a total mess.
Luckily, they managed to change the room for me.
For a traveler who look for ease of checking in and better hospitality service (human interaction instead of over the phone) i will not recommend it. It will be a disaster if the traveler is not tech savvy.
It may has a good and clean facilities and the price is good but i will not recommend it. I will definitely not stay in a self check in hotel ever. It is definitely off my list of hotel to stay.

MMursyidah MustafarSo far ok. Quite clean but some parts are not so clean. Got room with no TV signal so unable to open any channel and too lazy to ask to change. Able to change towels since I stayed more than a day but got one torn towel.
The staff is so nice and allows me to put the delivery food in the lobby while waiting for me to go and take it.
Wifi so far is also quite strong and allows me to do my work faster.
