Although a little on the pricey side per night rate, my fmly and I overall enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Colony. I was pleasantly surprised how clean and new looking this place was. Not run down at all despite having opened for about 5 years now I think. Very well maintained which made our stay very comfortable. We like how industrial and modern looking this whole place is. Water pressure in the bathroom was good, bed linen was clean, amenities were well replenished, swimming pool was rather small but clean and decent enough to keep the kids happy. One thing weird though was that we were given 2019 dated green tea sachet but it’s already 2022 now. Receptionist said it’s actually the date of manufacturing rather than the expiry date but we didn’t want to take the risk so we didn’t consume it. And the amount of soap and shampoo given were probably too little in small slim bottles. Bathroom was a little clogged after our shower. But everything else were fine and nice. I guess the sound proof was alright as there was no noisy disturbances from other rooms. So we had uninterrupted sleep. This guesthouse has two storeys with 8 rooms in total. 4 at the top and 4 at the bottom. All in all thumbs up and if given the chance and having to travel to Kuantan again we would be more than happy to be back here to stay.

Room is clean, great stay having here, a small hotel but amenities just complete, like provide iron, city view, hot shower, free wifi and easy to parking after working hour, wonderful with the price and center at the city. Easy to reach shopping mall and reach public transport Rapid Kuantan station with walking distance just 300m. Easy for me to having a stay here. Will consider to have a stay here again. Last but not least, friendly staff and beautiful lobby. Their lobby got mini scout gallery is look nice when I first time to check in.

The location is quite secluded among housing area (rumah kedai). Tapi, selamat je for parking. But, ade 4 ekor anjing keep menyalak around the area. 10mins to TC and 10-15 mins to viral eating places. Very clean, spacious for 4 people, still have space to pray, comfortable toilet and wardrobe size. Takde fridge but can use one at the hotel. Bawah hotel is chinese restaurant. Reception friendly. Iron, hairdryer, coffee table, toileteries already there.

At lobby looks very clean.. i booked around RM177, however the room was not cleaned. A lot of hairs and trace of paper seen. Looks like room already use by other people. Very upsetting. Not recommended fir value of the money

It was a bit of disappointment, the sleeping arrangements actually cannot accommodate for 6 adults, as the sofa bed was not stable and strong enough to hold 2 adult weight. The 2 queen size beds was placed side by side but there was not the same height, so can't to have one more person to sleep on.
So it should not advertise can accommodate for 6 pax.
Toothbrush, toothpaste was not provided and we have to go and buy.

HHoong YWe booked a double room and a triple room. Rooms are very good. Location is good. The hotel reserved a special table for 5 people for Breakfast, without asking... This is service and foward thinking by the hotel staff. Only limitation is there is no Hotel parking. Parking is by local town council.

CChohI am booking for family room with 1queen 1single bed...but when i get it the room is so small.. Fit with 2 small bed until we sleep cnt turn up body..next day ask from counter they say thats is 2 queen bed...what the problem with the queen size bed n the back door double safety lock also spoiled. No good for each room no kettle for us..midnight want hot water need to go out corridors.the fridge also all karak...no cold..will not order 2nd time.
The best is the counter service person all very snily n good attitude.

Ggrahamwood888The first apartment we were given was in a terrible state, dirty, infested with ants and horrible mattress on which we could barely sleep. We complained and the Nepalese desk staff was very helpful and let us move to a different apartment which was better. For some reason all the ceiling fans have been removed from both the apartments we saw, leaving wires hanging from the ceilings. Upon request, a ceiling fan was fitted in the master bedroom for us, but not in the living room, I had to borrow a fan from family - I have no wish to sit in aircon all day and pay for the electricity. Housekeeping is carried out once a week, by 2 more Nepalese guys (Nepal must be the latest source for slave labour) who did a reasonable but basic job. They don't have sheets big enough for the bed, have to put 2 smaller ones overlapping, the towels are so old and threadbare, at home I would use them for cleaning the car only. The pool is good, although not regularly cleaned and there's a small mini shop on site for essentials. The main reason for my 'poor' rating is the renovation work that is going on. It portrays a complete disregard for paying guests when they know which apartment I am staying in yet they decide to do noisy renovations in all the surrounding apartments to me. Apparently it's OK, because it's only between 9 am and 5 pm (actually nearer 6). Well actually, it's not OK, as that's when I am in during the heat of the day. The rooms will look better once renovated, they will charge an extra RM1000 p/m and, I suspect, the same lackadaisical attitude to running the place will prevail. Although Wifey doesn't like to stay at Tembeling, I will be seriously looking there for my next visit to Kuantan.

Not big, little place next to The room is on the street side, so not very quiet. the bed, air-conditioning worked weak and it took a long time before one could turn off the TV. After a few hours, the building was started with breaks, and because the inner walls were very thin, it was as if it were knocked into our room, so we asked for another room, equal, first this room would be 111, but it was even smaller. Then room 110, on the back of the building. Something bigger, but very little place next to the bed. One of the guests must jump into the bed from the back. Lakens look OK, towels do not dry anything. The air conditioning in this room is clearly better. Wifi works well There is no daily room service, no replacement of towels. People at the reception are OK, no more. However OK that we got another room

WWaeidzHi, i hope trip.com can review the type of room again, in the info the room was two bedrooms (as perpicture) but when i arrive it was just a studio, i have to book another room onthespot due to the issue. The owner ask me to complain to trip.com due to the mistake about the info from trip.com. I hope i can get some benfit or refund on that issue. I'm only using trip.com for long time and its my first time having this issue.
