Iillyana amerAmigo Hotel is a good place for a business stay if you love travelling comfortable and at the same time you get to unwind in Bintulu. Situated just by walking distance to the waterfront. Great to have a place to walk around after a day of work at the city. You can see people jogging, fishing, watch birds flying around and also might see people on their boats.
Room is also well maintained. Just that in my case I encounter water dripping from the aircond on one of the 2 days that I stayed there. Lasted for about 5 minutes. Otherwise everything else was okay. If you would like to stay here, I would suggest to request for a room in the middle of the building as it will be better soundproof. Mine is at the corner of the building right next to the entertainment block, I can hear the loud music although I am not a light sleeper. If you prefer very hot water during shower, you might want to check that too as soon as you enter the room as mine is not so heated. But since I am okay with that then thats fine. Breakfast although not buffet, it serves a very huge portion of each. Had American breakfast and toasted bread with half boiled egg for the 2 days stay. Staff were definitely very helpful! The thing that made me feel welcomed is probably the beautiful and new interior as well as a very nice scent from lobby to your room and the luxury towel they provided. I hope the quality stays the same!

MMarielle RenzieI like the location walking distance to The Spring Mall very strategic, I did not try the breakfast & swimming pool but however there are 3 plugs in room but only 1 function, please upgrade your room so not up to date...very old...Next time i bring extension so i can charge phones and laptops.

Firstly, I must commend the quality of the hotel room itself. It was well-appointed, clean, and comfortable, providing a pleasant environment for my stay. The amenities and facilities within the room met my expectations, and the overall ambiance contributed to a relaxing atmosphere.
However, I encountered an issue with the water supply in the room. The water pressure was not strong enough, which made showering and using the sink somewhat inconvenient. Additionally, the water temperature was not consistently hot; it tended to fluctuate, and at times, it was uncomfortably cold.
This aspect of my stay was disappointing, as having a reliable and comfortable water supply is essential for a satisfactory hotel experience. I believe addressing this issue would significantly enhance the overall guest experience.
I trust that this feedback will be taken into consideration, and I hope to see improvements in the future. Despite this issue, I would consider staying at your hotel again, given the positive aspects of my visit.

GGuest UserThe room is good but breakfast has to be improved. Not many choices, fried rice and bihun were plain and there was nothing else to eat along with. First day breakfast still have nuggets and sausage but nothing during the second day breakfast.

GGuest UserThe hotel was decently well kept and service standard live up to a 3 star hotel. The only area that may require a little improvement is the complimentary breakfast. It has only 2 choices for breakfast, either toast bread and alternating between fried kway teow, meet and fried rice on each day. Suggest to add porridge and carrot cake too.
