Snorkeling on the island is better, we go every day. Wife and child think they eat well. There is a ping-pong table, and we will play for a while after dinner. The services on the island were very enthusiastic. They also helped us to buy masks. The young lady in Shandong and the EMMA in Malaysia were very helpful. We were very moved. The classic Maldives Experience. Has everything you would expect in a Maldives getaway. Beautiful resort with lovely, comfortable scenic Water villas over the lovely clear turquoise sea of Maldives. Location wise in my opinion is great as it’s only a 25 min ride from the hotel. The room luxury level, super comfortable with a floor window, lovely deck and hammock over the turquoise sea. Enjoyed the infinity pool bar area with a super long pool with great view. The pool bar, great place to hang out for the day with good food comfy lounge set up and super service from staff. Restaurant for breakfast has an awesome view, staff super nice, the buffet is good - enough. The dinner restaurant - believe is called firefly - very nice decor and view, great service food very good. I would only say the music was old style (vey elevator or old hotel lobby type). Was able to have a sunset yoga class that enjoyed very much provided by the resident yogi teacher. Also was able to use the gym which is very well equipped for any type of full workout. Has a chance to also do 2 dives, they have a very well equipped profesional Diving center - shout out to Karen there Dive master mermaid. Super pro in the service. Finally was able to enjoy the Spa that would also give a shout out to the staff and the treatment I got was 10! All in all great venue, location wise superb, staff incredibly nice, good food and super comfy luxury villas. Thanks to all the staff!

I've never given a 5 out of 5, so this is the first time I've given a 5 to this Hilton. Newly opened hotel with perfect hardware facilities and first-class service. The luxury speedboat is very convenient to go to the island, which can make good use of the time in Madai. What an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived at the airport we were so welcome by so the staff. The resort itself is beautiful and kept really well. This is high quality resort with a very personalised touch. Shohel, our house keeper, made such a difference and was very courteous and thoughtful. We stayed for our anniversary and was met with such a beautiful display. The room was quite spacious as we stayed in an overwater villa and was quite private. The beautiful reefs are worth exploring. All the activities in the resort are so much fun and the staff make it much more enjoyable filling in any knowledge gaps and answering any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying as we’ve decided we’d love to come back in the future.

...to enjoy your vacation. We have spent 10 days at the Bandos resort in September, and the place and staff are absolutely amazing (more about the people at the end). Unfortunately, there is currently construction work going on and we were only informed about this by our travel agent after the booking. Our beach villa did not really have a beach (yet) as this was still being prepared. The shovel excavator started doing its work at 7am in the morning and sometimes only stopped at 10:30pm. This was the unfortunate part. We do not necessarily blame the hotel for this as the renewal has to be done at some stage. The Bandos resort is soon getting 50 years old and it is good that it is being kept up to date. The new villas at the front left side are really nice. We would just have hoped that the current circumstances would have been better described on the web site and that the prices would have been adjusted accordingly. We had the all-inclusive package which is kind of a must, otherwise the vacation will be very expensive. With AI, you will have a wide choice of drinks and really good food for breakfast, at lunch and dinner. You definitely have to try the different curry's, they are excellent in taste. The best thing about the resort is its team. Everybody is fluent in English, very kind to you and can somehow read your mind and wishes that you have. The management must give their employees a really good training upfront. At dinner, Tanuj, xx, xx and xx gave us a perfect treatment. After a few days they recognized us, despite having to take care of so many visitors. Special requests, such as different beverages or food, were being taken care of right away. At the last day of our stay we had a table that was already prepared for us, The decoration looked wonderful and it almost felt like a honeymoon. The location gets 5 stars. The current construction works (and the way they are handled) reduces it down to 3-4 stars. However, the kindness of the team brings the overall impression back to 5 stars. It takes 20 minutes by speedboat from Male. The island is clean and there are no bugs. The ratio of Westerners to Asians is about half and half, there are many elderly couples, and it is very quiet. Everyone greets each other when they pass by, which was nice. There are delicious curries, pastas, and meats that suit Japanese tastes. If you snorkel from the villa, it is so deep that you can't even touch the water, and the waves are so strong that you get seasick. There are hardly any fish, so I think the pool is more relaxing. It was a bit disappointing that you can see other islands and buildings from the island. It can't be helped since it's close to Male. But I think this price is reasonable for an all-inclusive resort in the Maldives. The cleaning staff was also very kind and unobtrusive, coming twice a day to clean up the place. The host contacted us on our last day even though it was a day off, and was very responsible and kind, so we had a comfortable stay.

For the price of an overwater villa I have nothing to fuss about. Just that the complimentary activities are very limited. Free 15 min of either kayaking or stand up paddle daily. Food wise - All inclusive of food and wines, beer, soft drink. A lot of varieties just that better not to have anything at the salad bar, fruits, pastries that’s not covered. There’s a lot of flies at the section. Lots of baby sharks swimming around daily. If you are lucky, can catch a glimpse of stingray as well.
