We thoroughly enjoyed two weeks at Laguna Beach and found it to be great value on All Inclusive. Sea view double rooms were of a reasonable size, comfortable with attractive bamboo furnishing and well insulated for noise. Food was exceptionally good - a really wide choice of tasty dishes that were changing every day, the local fish being particularly delicious for me. Pancakes in the afternoon became an essential part of the daily routine. The waiters and staff in general are so friendly and helpful, I could not fault them in any way. In fact, the friendly atmosphere at Laguna Beach is one of their strongest assets, as is the local rum! All the drinks you get on the All Inclusive are very good quality, including the cocktails - I couldn't get enough of the Daiquiris. There are a few evening entertainments run by the excellent Kevin, like a local dance troupe and a very fun karaoke, but this isn't on a daily basis, so isn't too much. Water sports are available and I recommend the views from the parasailing. We did lots of trips from Laguna Beach all over the island and found it to be an excellent base for exploration. I particularly recommend doing a catamaran trip on the West coast - this was idyllic, we got to see dolphins and a family of ***** whales! A guided tour around the tiny eco island of Ile Aux Aigrettes is a must - I won't forget the giant turtles ... Mauritius is also a hiker's paradise and this is something I wish I had more time for. The scenery and views from Black River Gorges National Park is something special. I do recommend hiring taxi drivers for a day or half day instead of driving yourself - best have someone who knows where all the bad road surfaces are and traffic in some areas can be a bit hectic at rush hours. Some of the drivers have excellent local and historical knowledge, and can act as your guide, not just a driver. There are a few things to be aware of when considering a stay here. It's on the more remote South East side of the island. If you want tourist shops, bars and nightlife then head to the North - this resort is more about peace and quiet. Saying that there is a constant soundtrack of music in the pool / bar area that I could have done without in the daytime, or just turn the volume down a bit. Being on the East it can get windy, especially in the evening but this was rarely an issue for us. If you want your hotel to have an amazing beach you should consider an alternative - the section of the beach cordoned off here is very small and everyone used the lovely infinity pool instead.
Originally, I arrived at Maoqiu at 3 in the afternoon, but the plane was delayed 7 hours due to the weather. I took a taxi to the hotel for about 50 minutes and only arrived at the hotel at 11 in the evening. The landlord and the guy in charge of the reception have been waiting. kind. The hotel is generally clean and quiet. Breakfast is not bad, dinner is charged, 175 local rupees, not very expensive. The place is far away from the city. The next day I was going to buy a phone card. I didn't know the road. The young man in charge of the reception was about to go to school, so he took me there and talked all the way. Responsible for cleaning. The aunts who cook are very good. I want to make Kung Fu tea, but there is no boiling water. They put me a few bottles of boiling water in a thermos bottle, and they will bring it to me every day. The laundry is also very fast. I went out at noon and asked them to wash the clothes. When I came back in the afternoon, I saw neatly folded clothes. They were also cheap. Unlike the next hotel, the laundry was available 24 hours a day, and the charges were all based on the piece. The landlord is also very good, sometimes he will call a car for me when I go out, and I will chat with him every day when I have time.
During the Spring Festival, a family of 6 stayed for 5 nights and it felt great! Not willing to go! Breakfast is rich, you can also feed fish while eating (a beautiful sea fish that can only be seen by snorkeling), feed birds (see at least three kinds of birds), picturesque scenery, free experience golf, glass boat trip to and from deer during your stay Island, recreation room, elephant tortoise watching, bicycling, glass-bottom boat ride to and from the opposite bank ... I also accidentally found a lot of mango trees and Sakyamuni trees. The greening of the entire hotel is exquisite, and some live in oversized bonsai The feeling in the absolute paradise on earth!

Very nice apartments, with kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and one or two balconies. Super view of the coast and the green surroundings. Located a little away, but with a car rental everything is very good to reach. Very good breakfast, super nice owner and friendly staff. You feel associated with it. Beautiful large pool and a beautiful garden leave here feeling of quiet and holiday. I'm glad to come back
The location is good, the hotel can provide free snorkeling service, you can also see a lot of fish snorkeling next to the hotel, the sea is very clear, great.
The staff at Friday Attitude are fantastic, they cannot do enough for you. This charming location is quite, peaceful and offers a restful, relaxing holiday. We had two rooms and both were exceptionally clean if a little dated. The hotel strives to be eco friendly which is commendable so having to refresh tea/coffee/etc at the little shop is a great idea. Beach towels are provided. The staff were able to organise tours of the island/dolphins watching/taxis to airport etc. Take away breakfast was available for those very early morning starts. Food is excellent in the Kot Nut restaurant which was not opened every night and bootable. The buffet was ok, plenty of fresh fruit which is good.
Our stay at this beautiful hotel in Mauritius was simply wonderful. We would especially like to highlight the exceptional friendliness of the staff, who always addressed us by name and took great care of us. A special thanks goes to Prince from the reception, Shivan for the impeccable room cleaning, Thierry from the beach bar, and Calvin, who provided excellent wine recommendations. And all the others which named we can’t remember since there were so many. The property is quiet and not overcrowded, with a lovely garden and a beautiful beach. The crystal-clear water and the two swimming pools – one of them heated – offer perfect relaxation. The food was also fantastic, especially the seafood platter, which we highly recommend. We were completely satisfied and will gladly return! Best regards, Gerald & Harald
We stayed here recently for just over two weeks. It's a great hotel in a good location on the east coast. We never had a problem finding a sun lounger on the beach, but it was a bit breezy at times. Staff were fantastic. Food was excellent in the main dining room with plenty of choice. Wok n Roll is big on sushi, but has a rather limited menu otherwise. We could have gone 3 times, but only went once. There was a good selection of wine by the bottle - available at lunch and dinner - on the all inclusive package. There's entertainment in the bar most evenings. Again plenty of choice of inclusive drinks. It winds down about 22.30, and nothing too loud or raucous. We booked 3 trips through Deeya at the hotel - Five Islands boat trip with Danny (great day) - Flacq Central Market (interesting) - and a car for the day to tour the south of the island (definitely worth a visit). Shout out to Rajendra, Deepak, Nitish (Dining Room), Geraldine, Priya (Beach Bar), Shreesh (Main Bar), Vella (Somellier) who all went out of their way to make our holiday special. Just a couple of things to note - only beer and soft drinks in the mini bar (you have to order wine by the glass to be delivered). Take a beach bag, there isn't one in the room unless you're on honeymoon.
We spent a fortnight at this hotel in October. The staff are so lovely and go out of their way to look after you. Thank you to Aneesha and Ravi in indigo restaurant, Vikesh and Angie at La Plage, Kenny and Javea in Dolce Vita and Ve at the Coral bar. You are all exceptional and deserve a lot of credit. All of the staff are very helpful but these ones stood out for us. Nothing was too much trouble. The food in Dolce Vita and La Plage is lovely. You need to book for the evenings using the QR codes either outside of the restaurants or at the front of indigo buffet where you go for breakfast. Lunchtimes do not require a booking. Our flight home was cancelled until the following morning so we asked at Dolce Vita if we were able to eat there as we didn’t have a booking and they were very accommodating. The rooms are a little dated but they are in the process of updating things. They are a little dark, we had a garden room but you only sleep and shower there so fine for what you need. The beach is lovely you will need water shoes for the sea. There are water sports available for free on the beach and a trip on the glass bottom boat as part of your stay. We didn’t go on any trips as was just happy to chill out which we certainly did. The pool was a bit chilly when we first got there as it was the start of the summer and had been windy but it warmed up throughout our stay. It’s a lovely infinity pool. From your lounger the view is lovely with the beautiful sea behind the infinity pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this piece of paradise. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at Ambre you made our stay.
Very satisfied! A very favorite hotel! Excellent value for money.
Facilities: A hotel designed by a French designer under the Lux Group. The facilities are very good, small and exquisite. Every corner is full of art and there are surprises everywhere. It's not the high-end facilities that you would expect from a high-end luxury hotel. This place is for adults only. The design concept and facilities are very suitable for non-parents and children. Comfort + personality + eye-catching + leisure + entertainment.
Hygiene: Everywhere in the hotel is clean, no matter the public areas or rooms, the beach will be cleaned throughout the day (except at night)
The design concept follows the principle of protecting nature. There are no plastic products. I brought my own garbage bags.
Environment: The hotel as a whole is a work of art. Mediterranean-style colors: blue + orange + lemon yellow + black and white *****es, plus the white sand of the beach + mint-colored sea water
Is there anything more intoxicating than this color scheme? ? ? Taking pictures is absolutely beautiful, especially when the sun is shining (it looks good on cloudy days too, but the sun can better interpret the charm of paradise)
Service: Most of them are very satisfied. There was a small incident but the manager helped solve it, and the result is still good! I'm very happy to have met such an honest manager, who lived up to my trust in booking 5 houses at once! My husband and I booked a total of 5 rooms for our family.
There is a shop here that sells all the hotel's own things. The clothing and jewelry are all very beautiful. I bought a lot of them, some of them are unique items, which should make you unique. This is the story that happened here, you can see the picture I posted (I was really too lazy to write it repeatedly on several platforms, so I took a screenshot of the comment on another app for booking houses. Anyway, I wrote it myself)
Breakfast: Very special, unlimited, but you need to order it yourself. The freshly made bread has many flavors and is very fragrant. We checked in on New Year's Eve, and the Chinese holiday breakfast was specially prepared for us the next day, including porridge and preserved eggs, which was a surprise. . .
If you like taking pictures, don’t miss this hotel!
If you want to enjoy a vacation life only for adults, don’t miss this hotel!
If you want to sleep on their handmade beds, don’t miss this hotel!
