Hunas Falls provides an astonishing setting of sprawling gardens with walkways, flowers and a lake with a bridge to cross it, a waterfall, upper waterfall and a mini golf course all constitute a most beautiful background. Happy to meet a long time friend Mr. Ranil Delgoda, who is maintaining the property in a prime condition. Very spacious room and the balcony with all the amenities, beautiful garden in the front, the valley mountains of in the background, lake and the forest onto the right, tea plantation plantation in the left. Just behind the room was the ten foot deep swimming pool, right behind the pool it's the Hunasgiriya mountain covered with mist and the road leading towards it. Restaurant overlooking the lake with a beautiful view, and the food is excellent. Something remarkable is the human touch, very friendly and courteous staff, starting from the front office Mr. Tuan, Ms. Nilmini, Ms. Sathsara, Ms. Himasha, Mr. Raja and Mr. Gunawardhanana, this is in addition to AGM & Head Naturalist Mr. Buwaneka Pathirana. It was a pleasure to meet the staff of well managed resurgent Mr. Hemantha - Restaurant and Bar, Mr. Wasantha - F & B, Mr. Dhananjaya, Ms. Disna, Ms. Minu, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Sajeewa - Chef and his staff, Mr. Sidath, Mr. Satheesh, Mr. Ovindu, Messers Indika, Ashan and Charith in the Bar, also a big appreciation goes to the staff who are maintaining the huge beautiful garden in prime condition. Once again a big thanks to the GM, Mr. Ranil Delgoda for all the support rendered to us during our stay, as always.

KKeith Juvenal JPROS: - very spacious room! and everything is clean, I was totally impressed when I arrived. - the staff not only helped me hire a tuktuk for a day tour but also recommended to hitch with another solo traveller for the same tour and date. won my budget, tour experience and also a new friend - very sumptuous breakfast! - the staff are very friendly. they served free tea after checkout while passing time and got a free history lesson and current events of Sri Lanka too - centrally located, just a stone throw away from the clock tower which is very close by the bus stops, restaurants and groceries CONS: none! I would totally recommend this property and would like to stay here again

GGuest UserWhat could be better for the welcome, the location, the comfort, the cleanliness, the availability, the calm and I forget some. Close to the main road and next to the Lion Rock, this family guest house is everything we were looking for. The mother cooks divinely well, and she is very available, the father takes care of his beautiful garden, and Prabash the son is adorable, he offers excursions and transport either by tuk-tuk or by car. He even picked us up at the airport 3 hours away. The prices are very reasonable. He took us to Polonaruwa, Dambula and Anuradhapura. The lion rock is very close as well as bars and restaurants and shops 10 minutes walk away. We stayed 4 nights. The price / quality ratio is exceptional.

GGuest UserIt’s my second trip to Sri Lanka and I am so glad I found this hidden gem! I have loved my stay at wild grass. The villa was huge, minimalist, refined, tranquil with all the essentials I needed. The balcony perfect for a relaxing beer, reading a book or simply meditating or sitting with the sounds of nature around you. Showering outdoors as tropical rain poured down or stars shone above was great. Wifi was good. I saw monkeys, birds, frogs, turtles even a chicken in the grounds. The perfect place for an escape from life, that you may never know you needed so much and may find yourself considering staying for a life in the tropics once you realise you did. A handy base for exploring rocks, ruins, mountains, rice fields, village life and more without too much travelling time. Recommend to hire a driver/car for your stay as it is a bit remote so this gives you freedom to go as you please. Staff were super kind, attentive, caring and helpful and ensured I had everything I needed during my stay even with our super early 4am exhausted arrival! We did miss traffic and sites along the way and it was a pleasure to wake up from that long travelling day in such a nice place but if a long drive after your flight isn’t your thing consider a night closer to airport first and head up next day if your flight arrives late. The meals we’re delicious and high quality, you must have the curries and the sri lankan breakfast 🤤 Nice pool and everything was clean, tidy, extremely diligent to covid protocols and mainly outdoors so low risk in that respect given the times we find ourselves travelling in. The bonus of that I was privileged to stay at a time when the resort, the island itself was having only minimal tourists so don’t waste time thinking about it book your stay as soon as you can get here and take advantage of that luxury as this magical island can be busy sometimes. A bit sad to be changing places tomorrow after such a lovely stay in the tranquil calming surrounds of wild grass but look forward to a trip back and pleased to be able to recommend it to others and thank all the staff that looked after me during my stay!

AArabinOne of the best hotels I lived in Sri Lanka, running by a local family. They are very nice and hospitable and even provided very delicious local breakfast with wild honey and welcome coconut water. The room was a quite big with high ceiling, clean and all the stuffs were available. The hotel is in the closest location to climb the rock mountain called Pidurangala to view panorama view of Sigiri and sunrise and sunset and very close to Sigiri Lion Rock as well. The hotel can provide car and jeep services. Jeep safari to see a herd and other wild animals were quite an experience to feel the wilderness and nature. This hotel is 100% recommended when you are in Sigiriya.
If you need a car service for city to city travel, here is the service provider, called Danu and his contact number is (0774) 642 805. He is a nice and humble guy with certified local guide. We got his service from Sigiriya to Kandy to Yalla to Colombo, the trip went very smooth and we are happy that we covered all the attractions places with his assistance. Highly recommended!!

Away from city in the midst of total quietness is what anyone would ask for. Whoever read this review please feel free to check it out . I can 100% vouch for it. - Location - Easy to get by via Habarana. Once you are at Habarana you can reach the hotel via Tuk Tuk. Make sure to use Pick Me (Similar as Uber). Or you could even arrange a pick through the hotel who are happy to do the needful. Hotel is close to Sigiriya and Pidurangala as well which is a plus Hotel was kind enough to arrange a Safari at Hurulu Park where we were lucky to see some Elephants at their own habitat. Tharanga (Safari Driver) was very well aware where to go so we would have the best experience. - First impression - We were welcomed by Shehara (Front Desk) witha big smile . Welcome drinks were offered & check in was pretty quick. - Room - A well maintained, clean & luxurious little room with a Jacuzzi built in . Belive me it was a perfect fit and its suited for a family as well. - Food & Service- Chef Renuka and team are gifted with amazing skillset. Every dish they offered us was out of the world. Special shoutout to Daminda and Krishantha who served us through the stay was always happy to make sure we enjoyed each meal. Thank you Seerock The Kings Domain for the outstanding hospitality. GGuest UserI had a bad experience. The worst thing in my opinion was that on the check out they tried to pay 3.5% more for using the visa. We asked for breakfast at 7am to be able to climb up to the Leon Rock without so much heat, and served at 7.50, having us at 50 minutes waiting. When they arrived, they told us that the boy checking in had gone to the village and wouldn't come to the town for a while and they had us standing there 20 minutes The prices, for the hotel that is, they have deorbitated, The hotel has a very good location, and it is very comfortable and comfortable. The room was very comfortable and was very comfortable and very comfortable. I do not recommend it for anything.

Short walking distance to Sigiriya rock and to Sigiriya town. The pool is beautiful and extremely clean, with an awesome view. Stuff are really helpful and extremely cordial. Special mention to the restaurant staff. The food is amazing, the chefs are lovely. A special thanks to Sunil and Guilan (the restaurant staff) they represent the best of Sri Lanka, the people. Will always be in our hearts. If we come back to Sri Lanka we will definitively will stay here. Ayubowan.

Especially on the second day because of the urgency, my lover put some valuables in the room, our bags are already on the way to Nuvo, and it has been open for 20 minutes. After suddenly thinking about the amount, the DILI driver was very enthusiastic to help the hotel call, the other party sent someone to say that they were still in the room, and then rushed back to the hotel to take it, which was a sigh of relief. SSampath SFlower Garden Eco Village is one of the best hotels to stay in Sigiriya. It has the most spectacular environment. Hotel rooms are spacious and very clean. Food is also good and they have very friendly staff and value for money would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
