Service - They guy (owner we think?) was nice and friendly, but also a bit awkward. Because when we arrived he was starring at us. After 1 night we decided to leave and he was really easy, we could just change that. Rooms - okay-ish. But would definitely not call it a resort. Apparently you can’t take a shower while having the A/C on. Cleanliness - not clean at all. Amenities - free kayaking. However, if you want to do something in Vang Vieng please note this is quite a bit far and they don’t really accommodate for this. Breakfast - available but we didn’t had any. Also lunch available. Dinner not, you need to go to the next place. Location - 30 minutes from Vang Vieng. But it’s a lovely spot at the lake and stuff. It could be fantastic if they accommodate transportation a bit better. Price - cheap.
This resort is absolutely fantastic. The location of the bungalows with the view to the lake is perfect. You get free use of the kayaks and can start right away to a tour through the lakes with the uncountable amount of small islands. Wanna relax at the pool? There is a clean one for you as well. The food they serve is yummy, nothing too fancy, but totally solid. The owners and the team are very welcoming and in for a little chat. Rooms are very clean, the bed super comfortable, an A/C and fan if you need it are there. We only used it scarcely since the temperature around the lake is a bit lower than eg in Vang Vieng. If you're a nature lover and like it calm and love serenity, this place is a go-to. Thanks a lot for your hospitality Manu and Rieke
Sanctuary Nam Ngum Beach Resort might be a little off the beaten track, but WHAT A GEM! A calm and quiet oasis only two hours north of Vientiane, and just a short ride away from Vang Vieng. The accommodations are stylish, modern, and EXTREMELY comfortable, even luxurious. And the options you have for water sports / activities are many - pedal boating, jet skis, kayak, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, or just relax by the gorgeous swimming pool with a view out over the lake instead. The restaurant serves great food, and breakfast s varied and well-managed, and the staff do everything they can to ensure a pleasant stay, always with a smile. I wish I could have stayed longer!

I recently stayed at Lisha Hotel, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The bathroom had a constant foul odor, and the plumbing system was a nightmare. Every time I took a shower, the water would flood all over the bathroom, reaching the toilet and sink. To make matters worse, there was a big gaping hole under the sink that allowed lizards and bugs to come into my room, which was unacceptable. Despite claiming to be a four-star hotel, Lisha Hotel fell far short of that standard. I would rate it as a two-star hotel at best, and I would give it a mere one star based on my experience. The staff at the hotel were not helpful at all. They lacked English language skills and were unfriendly. When I asked about train tickets, they claimed it was all sold out, even though I later found out that I could easily purchase them at the train station myself. Their misinformation and unhelpful attitude made my experience in Laos very difficult, and it has left me with no desire to visit the country again. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend booking at Lisha Hotel. The foul odor, plumbing issues, lack of cleanliness, unhelpful staff, and poor customer service are not reflective of a four-star hotel, and it did not meet my expectations. I would advise looking for alternative accommodations to avoid similar disappointments during your stay in Laos.
Facilities: The facilities are basically perfect! The scenery outside the window is very good!
Service: Breakfast is egg bread ➕ instant coffee
Hygienic: not very clean! It feels like no one has stayed for a long time! A layer of dust! There are spider webs! There is a gap with the picture
The staff was friendly and the service was impeccable. The hotel's environment was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The rooms were well-equipped with comfortable beds, and the breakfast provided was delicious and plentiful. The time spent here left me with wonderful memories, and I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Laos!
Fabulous hotel. Lovely friendly receptionist and great cleaning service. Beautiful pool with great mountain view. Loved the sunken bath for showering in. Added bonus was you tube on the TV to watch during down time. The only negative was they didn't restock sufficiently during the breakfast buffet and no safety deposit box as advertised. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.
We stayed here for two nights and the hotel itself was okay. Our room had previously had a large water damage on the ceiling which showed, but other than that it was fine. However you should not visit this hotel if you appreciate good service-minded management. Previous to our stay we had booked a hot air balloon ride through the management of the hotel. We had originally looked at another air balloon company but were persuaded by the hotel manager to book through her instead, as she claimed the trip would last for 1 hour instead of half an hour, which she claimed the other companies’ did. We paid the price as agreed upon and were extremely disappointed when the air balloon descended after only 30 minutes. Upon asking the manager about this, she suddenly changed her mind and said that her recommendation was based on a personal experience, where she was flown around for an hour. We made it clear that we expected a price reduction as we were not provided with the full experience we had paid for and that her guidance had been misleading. This she abruptly refused to give back part of the money and she became very unpleasant. She started answering back flippantly and ignoring our responses. We were supposed to leave the hotel a few hours later through a minibus, which she had booked for us, and suddenly she started threatening us to cancel the minibus and not help us with anything. Finally she decided to give us a 5$ price reduction (which is nothing considering we paid 95$). Definitely not a recommendation from here, which is a shame since the rest of the staff were nice.
Service is very good. The breakfast is plentiful and the dining environment is very comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle bus to pick up and drop off to the town center for free! There is a swimming pool, the cockroach is relatively small, soak it.
Convenient accommodation Wake up to see a very beautiful view But the room may have a little noise because it is on the road.
Maybe a little far from the city, but those who like to walk are not bad.
the hotel owner brother has good service, easy to talk, what you need can tell
