Owed this feedback for too long. We actually stayed in Oct2019. Took a bus from Mashu Station and arrived early before check-in time. Gentleman at reception was so kind to let us into our room on 2nd floor. No lifts and we had 4 luggages for 2 females. Appreciate so much for sending them to the room. Apologies for the trouble but we were spending 1mth in Hokkaido. We stayed 3nights and were very satisfied with room. It's kept to the basic and towels were thin but it's fine as room was very clean and tidy. Rate is unbeatable and stay was pleasant throughout. Thank you for the kind hospitality. For those who don't drive, bus-stop is walking distance to/from Mashu Station.

The house is really historical, it is quite loud when walking, but the sound of the corridor is basically not heard in the room, so the impact is not big, you can experience the Showa style, before moving in, I was still a little worried about the cleanliness, but after I checked in, I found that the whole house was cleaned.
