It took us about 15 minutes from Yamagata airports to the hotel by a taxi. Located in a cozy area and we could see the mountains covered with snow in the distance (we visited here in January 2024). All of the facilities are clean and the Japanese garden in the courtyard is very atmospheric. The hot springs is also very large and clean, and bathing while looking at the snow was an extremely valuable experience. We took dinner(Yamagata beef sukiyaki) and breakfast here, they were really nice to say at least. The service was also excellent, absolutely.

We had an absolutely an amazing stay in Tedoso. First, the hot spring there is amazing. We had never felt so relaxed in a hot spring before. The hot water and the cold weather is completely in harmony. Second, the service is sooooooo nice. They always welcomed us and out in a lot more effort than they needed to. Third, the environment is astounding. The Japanese style and the room is way beyond our expectations. The hotel is so neat and delicate, which made us feel like we’re in a whole new world. Last, the food is spectacular. We had food ranging from big and juicy pieces of sukiyaki beef to nicely cut and flavored sashimi. Our experience at this hotel is exquisite, and the price is highly reasonable, our family highly recommend you to visit Tendoso and give it a try. I’m sure you and your family would have a remarkable experience.

I was able to spend a calm and slow time in a long established store.

主要道路に面していてアクセスよく便利でした。 ホテル内のサービスも良く、朝食バイキングも美味しかったです。また、機会があれば利用したいと思いました。

The location of the hotel is not bad, there are local shops, drugstores and supermarkets next to it. Very convenient for people who like to go shopping  Starbucks is also next door , I want to buy a lot of souvenir options The service of the hotel is very friendly. The fly in the ointment is that the facilities of the soup house are simpler than other hot spring hotels.  but overall it is a place to stay worth choosing 

The hotel staff is very nice. The food is so delicious. The room is so big and the decorations are very good. The hot spring facilities are excellent. If you like cats, you will be very pleased to meet the landlord cat . It is a very beautiful cat. It's better to take a taxi to the hotel from Tendo JR station as it needs to take 15 minutes. It's not good to walk if the pavement is covered with snow.

1. There are quite a lot of entertainment items prepared by the hotel. There are bartenders, roast marshmallows in the evening... etc., and the atmosphere is very good. 2. Stayed for two nights, dinner provided a different meal, drinks provided a variety of choices; although the breakfast buffet was the same, the next day, I specially prepared soup products, and I felt the intention of the hotel. 3. The next day, the room did not replenish drinking water, not sure if it was only provided once or forgotten; there was only one vending machine in the hotel, but the two days of living were sold out. 4. There seems to be free buckwheat noodles at certain times, so I am not sure if I don't eat them in particular; the room type with a courtyard also provides a 24-hour bar, with drinks, biscuits, and fruit.

The location is very good, within walking distance to convenience stores and small restaurants. There is a parking space. If the parking space is full, you can park in a nearby parking lot. Breakfast has everything you need. The room was very tidy. As for the room service, it was very considerate. Even if I ”do not disturb”, they would hang new towels at the door.
