Stayed at the hotel for two nights to comment, quite neon country localized hot spring sanatorium, open-air wind is the Sakura Island landscape.
The front desk is located in the open air, there are basically no mainland tourists, so I met a group of four Taiwanese when I checked in. The room is a traditional tatami, one berth and two meals. One night is a stew pot, one night is barbecue, all are self-service. After the meal, the dessert is a pudding of the taste. The bed needs to be made by yourself. There is a large free bottle of mineral water in the room, a small bottle of mineral water and green tea according to the number of people and days. Help you burn the water in the kettle and keep warm on the check-in day, so that you can make your own tea.
The hotel has a free self-service laundry room. It is really cool to fold the dirty clothes directly after washing and drying every day. Basically, there are free machines at any time, no need to wait.
There are also a lot of cat sauce, not afraid of people, casually licking, observing the ears, TNR works well.
The resort's own observation deck, last night saw a sunset view, in addition to the Sakurajima, you can see Kagoshima City from a distance, and the direction of Kaiwenyue, Zhilin Island, etc.
To say that there are two shortcomings, one is that the network is not too bright, WiFi is slow, the mobile phone traffic of the softbank I bought is very stuck, sometimes there is no service, and the other is that the service staff basically do not speak English because it is too local.
I've seen Fairfield Marriott hotels in other prefectures recently and I was curious about them. This time I stayed at the hotel beforehand to watch the air show at Kanoya Air Base. The hotel was located inside a roadside station, so after arriving I went to a restaurant in the area, had a drink, and took a walk. There was a shared space on the first floor where I could relax with a cup of coffee on the sofa, which was fun. The photo shows the sea as seen from in front of the hotel lounge and a bento-style breakfast. It was full of Kagoshima's charms and it would be impossible to eat all of this at once by eating out. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

It was cheaper than in front of the port.
For the ducks, they come to Sakurajima Island early and take a bus to see.
I think it would be nice to come into the hotel and look around the hotel by rental bicycles.
The hot springs were older than I thought, so I just did.
The smell of sulfur was enormous.
Overall, it's a great place to rest quietly !!

We loved the view from the room, Sakura Island was just in front of us and we could actually see smoke coming out of its crater which was pretty awesome.
The pools were also nice and the traditional restaurant near the lobby had some great Japanese food.
The service was excellent, too.
The only downside was that the bus stop is a bit far and walking to it in the middle of summer isn’t pleasant. But a taxi to the main train station costs around ¥1,800 which isn’t bad.
