The hostel is in a vallage and it is expected to be for local family or local visitor. The staffs are helpful and try very hard to communicate in English. The facility is fair that water pressure is not enough when 4 people use the public bath at the same time, it also takes a quite of time to produce warm water for showering. Besides, it’s better to have plastic glasses in every room to use.

A perfect stay, the owner was very enthusiastic, introduced different restaurants nearby and helped to book the hotel. Although it was not perfect for communication, there was no problem with the translation. The first floor is a public bathroom with a bath pool. The hotel is out of Wuhu, very beautiful. Will definitely come again if you have a chance
It is unavoidable that the building is old, but there were traces of leakage on the ceiling of the closet of the Japanese-style room and the bedroom, and the room (especially the Japanese-style room) was very musty. The Japanese-style room smells too strong to use.
The bed had sheets on the mattress, but I was sleeping on the coil. I wanted a bedding even if it was thin.
It was a cold night, so I closed the shutters and slept with the air conditioner, but it was very cold and there were many comforters in the closet of the Japanese-style room, so I used them double. I put up with the smell.
The air conditioner was very bad.
There is no washroom and there is a hand wash in the bathroom, and it was cold and I washed my face and brushed my teeth in the kitchen.
One car can be stopped on the premises, but the block ridge, entrance fence and steps were in the way, so I jumped out a little and stopped.
Also, after the rain, it becomes muddy while walking to the entrance.
It's nice if you don't mind the cold and smell, but I don't recommend it very much in winter, but the starry sky looks beautiful.
I think it is lent by renovation with a low amount of money, but I don't think there will be a repeat unless it is renovated a little more.
This ”Lake Biwa Hills Village” is a completely different management from the ”Lake Biwa Hills Auto Campsite” next door with a similar name, and has no relationship. Please note that it is another facility. This facility is at the time of staying in 2023, and it has not yet passed since the opening, and it feels like it is developing. I stayed in a room in the main building called a pension, but there are no cooking facilities or tableware. If you buy ingredients from the outside and cook, you need to stay in a log house or cottage. If you don't make a reservation with ”Vacation STAY” instead of ”Rakuten Travel”, the cancellation fee will be different and it is the source of trouble. The pension is shared with toilets, showers, etc., but cleaning was sufficient. However, you must lock the room for crime prevention. I stayed with a dog, but it is a good facility from a dog's perspective. It was a stay from a distant place, but I was satisfied. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to stay with Wanko.
GGuest UserGreat option for visiting the Shirahige Shrine. The host offered a ride in the early morning after knowing we were planning to go, which was extremely kind of him.
Room was very spacious and clean, with a nice view. Very close to the station and easy to find.
The only thing I would note is that there was only one bath. We arrived around 830pm and planned to take the bath shortly, but by the time we settled and got downstairs (around 9pm), someone else was using it so we couldn't get in until after 930. It was a shame that we couldn't enjoy the hot bath as much as we wanted as we tried to hurry out for the next group since they were waiting after us but I'm not sure if they were able to use it as the bath closes at 10pm.
CCHI HO TONYWe stayed two nights in the hotel with breakfast and dinner. The web page of Trip.com showed that there was onsen in the hotel but when we check in, we were told that it was a ”mistake”. There is no onsen and the photo is a public onsen half an hours away. It was very disappoining that the Trip.com include photos irrelevant to the hotel. Dinner was also diffferent from the web photo. We have to pay 2500 yen each to upgrade the dinner to shsbu shabu. Breakfast is Japanese style with limited choice. Other than these, we had lake view room and shopping mall is nearby which are the advantages.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located by the lake. It is very nice to go down to the beach in the morning to watch the sunrise. Although the lake view room is blocked by some trees, you can see the direction of the sunrise. The environment inside the house is quite dark, and the decoration is in the style of a camping cabin. It is quite comfortable in Lidu. It takes about ten minutes to cross the train station. There is a shuttle available to get to the station after checking out, but there are only two fixed times that didn’t fit our schedule, so we didn’t choose to take it. Makino itself is quite remote, so everything was as expected.
GGuest UserThe room was clean and popular with the family.
I was dissatisfied with the following points.
① Midsummer 2 Sleeping on the floor was not realistic even if there was a spot cooler.
② The air conditioner didn't turn to the pet room and it seemed hot. I want you to put a dedicated air conditioner.
③ I was contacted just before that there was no water. The toilet was especially inconvenient. The shower was likely to be available on the homepage. I wonder if it is not announced by the announcement etc. even now.
GGuest UserThe location is very good. It is a 5-minute walk from the station. It is a Japanese-style hotel with many rooms. The owner is Chinese, the language is convenient, and you can cook. 1 km from Wuhu, the owner provides free bicycles to visit the lake.
