My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Wakamizu and in Takarazuka. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Rikyu room, which is traditional Japanese style. The shuttle is to and from the airport doesn’t run in the morning. Even with staff standing right at the desk, you have to do an automated check in with a computer. Yeah, my biggest gripe was that after traveling for over 24 hours to get to Osaka I was told I could not get into my room 45 minutes early unless I paid an extra ¥1000, or presented my Tokyo membership card. Like gee….I’m sorry…this is the first time I’ve been here….certainly charge me extra because I don’t have a membership card with you all. NOT a good way of taking care of an exhausted guest.
