Hotel staff, the room was good, but breakfast was sadly nothing. Even though it was more than an hour until the end of breakfast, the supply couldn't catch up and nothing was done. Everyone was in a state of ”waiting for something”, and there were no seats at the breakfast venue, so it was a mess. Unfortunately, I don't use the large communal bath. I would like to use it next time if I have time. Depending on the room I stayed in, I didn't go because it was troublesome to move to the main building or annex to take a bath. (Walk outside a little) The price is high.
We absolutely loved our stay at Nipponia Mino. We stayed in a two story apartment in the converted warehouse across from the main hotel and it was so beautiful. Each room had thoughtful stunning details - beautiful art on washi paper, a gorgeous soaking cedar tub, and antique furnishings. The host was incredibly helpful with suggestions of things to see and places to eat. We went to the soba restaurant across the street and he walked us there so we knew where it was (which was very lucky because otherwise we would've missed it.) He also rode his bike to our accomodations to make sure we found it and show us around. I loved the Nipponia. If we return to Japan, we'll definitely visit their other properties. Mino is also such a special place. The people are incredibly friendly and welcoming and there's a lot to see and experience for such a small town -- from the paper latern museum to the centuries-old sake distillery. Don't miss the paper merchant's house, which has been turned into a museum, with tours given in English.

The hotel is very new and spacious. Our check-in was quick and staff greeted us warmly. There was free parking, which is an advantage. Rooms are very spacious and well designed, there were room to laid out 2 big luggages. The view to the river nearby was also great. The hotel kindly offers a map of the city and restaurant info. They also offer to help book the restuarants. However, some info was not updated because a restaurant the hotel said is open turns out to be closed. Any how, our stay was pleasant.
The environment is very quiet, the owner's service is very kind, and it also especially meets our needs for dinner (me and my travel companion cannot enjoy meat and seafood cuisine). I really appreciate the owner and his wife.
If the activity in Satoyama Park is the main, it is recommended because it is in a very convenient location. I stayed for the first and second nights of my Gifu Petit trip, but it was attached to the service area and I arrived immediately using the high speed, so access was relatively easy. I don't think there was a convenience store nearby for breakfast, but the Satoyama Cafe, which is a 1-minute walk from the hotel, had a morning from 8 am, so I think it's good for those who say that the hotel lunch box is a little ... Su. Of course, I think that the bento boxes and fairfields at this hotel are both delicious and look high, so it's not bad at all. Satoyama Park itself, all popular attractions such as Air Real and Zipline are expensive, and it seems to be extremely crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, so personally that is a little bottleneck. I think it is a good inn as a foothold to go to Gujo and Takayama, so I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
Close to the station, there is a hot spring bath, the reception is super fast, breakfast is rich
