GGuest User 10月に期限切れ間近のマイレージを使って初めて奄美大島へ行った際、以前から気になっていたこちらの宿に宿泊しました。 少々行き難く静かな場所ですが、空港でレンタカーを借りて20分ほどで到着し、コロナ渦もあって久々の海でしたので、南の島で波音を聴くだけで気分が上がりました。 チェックインからダイニングの高台からの海と山の眺めに癒され、ウェルカムドリンクの後、カートでヴィラに案内されます。部屋はヒルサイドヴィラですが、手前のヴィラとの高低差のお陰で海と山は見えました。部屋はシンプルですが新しく十分な広さがあり、アメニティやコーヒーメーカー、空気清浄機等も揃っていて、居心地が良かったです。アウトドアバスは一度使いましたが、基本は部屋のシャワー・バスを使ったので、オーシャンヴィラならば違ったのかもしれませんが、個人的には部屋選びに際はあまり気にしなくていいかもしれません。あと、海外のリゾートホテルのように、トイレと洗面所とシャワー・バスが繋がっていて扉もないので、トイレは別室の方が使い勝手がいいかと思いました。 食事はダイニングで頂きますが、夜は奄美や鹿児島の色々な食材を使った創作料理のコースで、連泊しましたが前菜から魚・肉のメイン、ご飯ものまで全く異なる凝ったメニューを頂けて楽しめました。焼酎も様々な銘柄を取り揃えていて食事に合わせてサーブ頂けます。朝食は和食と洋食を選べますが、ホットサンドもお粥も美味しかったです。ダイニングやレセプションのスタッフの方々はみなさん笑顔で、丁度良い距離感のサービス・会話でしたので、好感が持てました。 部屋から少し下ればプライベートビーチがあり、魚はあまり泳いでいませんが、すぐに透明感抜群の海で泳げますし、夕方の満潮時はビーチが半分以上海に埋もれてしまいますが、早朝の日の出の時間帯のビーチからの眺めはキレイです。部屋からダイニングまでの道のりは少々距離・高低差がありますが、木々や植物が色々観れて楽しめます。稀に激しいスコールに見舞われるのは要注意ですが・・・。また周囲にほぼお店がないので、車がないと昼食・間食も含め宿での注文となります。車があれば、島人マートのスパムおにぎりとラフォンテのジェラードがお勧めです。 初めて奄美を訪れましたが、沖縄ほど観光地化していない分、素朴な雰囲気があり、是非再訪したいです。こちらは奄美の中では高級な宿泊代金となりますが、食事が期待以上で部屋・眺望・サービスとも非常に満足できる滞在となりましたので、奄美再訪の際にはまた宿泊したいと思います。

GGuest UserI was able to spend a relaxing time as a very wide 々. I didn't have shampoo, so I bought it in advance, but it was prepared properly. It was a little disappointing that the drainage of the shower room was bad and only 1 was dissatisfied with the water accumulated.

GGuest UserHotel Caretta was an excellent choice. Nearby to the airport and located next to the beach. Room was spacious, clean and hotel had nice amenities. WiFi was good, water clean, Staff very friendly. The hotel had bicycles available for guest use. There was a dive resort next door for those whom wanted to explore the ocean. The hotel had an on site restaurant that had great food (breakfast and dinner) and there were nearby izakayas for those whom wanted to try local places. Great time and would love to return. Thank you to the Staff of Hotel Caretta : )

GGuest UserThis is my third visit. I like Ocean View Hollywood Twin, but I couldn't stay for 3 consecutive nights and used the Beachside Villa Hollywood Twin for 1 day. As for the beachside villa, the air conditioner remote control channel was not set, and I thought I stopped one place at bedtime, but the others stopped, and it was hot in the middle of the night and woke up. Also, I used to have amenities (cosmetics and sunscreen), but this time I didn't have them, so when I contacted the front desk, I was told that I could get them within a certain range if the previous ones were fine. It was. Thank you very much. Regarding Ocean View Hollywood Twin, I'm glad that the position of the bed after the renovation has changed and I can see the sea, but behind the entrance and kitchen, The outside lights from the garden were too bright to sleep without an eye mask. (It seems that there was a shutter on the garden side. I didn't mind when the front door was next to the bedroom before.) Regarding the outside lights, let them go out around 23:00, and put screen curtains on the room. I strongly hope that you will take some measures, such as coming. Also, if there is no vending machine near the beach where you can buy drinks, it is difficult to go to the lobby and the shop one by one. (Water can be served in a small cup) Also, I didn't know the location of the vending machine or the location of the laundry, so please understand the basics. The rest was clean and I was able to spend a pleasant time. I like both Yoron Island and Prisia very much, so I hope that the above improvements will be made.

However, the other was beautiful and smelly, and it was comfortable.
I was worried about seeing other people's reviews, but I still heard it. I heard a lot of slapstick, so if you are interested, you may want to book the 2nd floor.
Check-in was easy and there was no one but there was no inconvenience.

GGuest UserThe shower room and toilet building were old, but the bathroom smelled good and was kept clean, so there was no inconvenience.
The washing machine is free, so it's great to do laundry right after playing in the water.
There were small bugs in the room, but this is something that can't be helped since it's a lodge.
Small lizards are also frequently seen. I like small lizards, but I can't find them in Korea.
