City Hotel in front of Okaya Station, Furekomi Street, 30 seconds from Okaya Station. There is a bus section for the Iida line due to heavy rain, and check-in after 10 o'clock at night. But as soon as you get off the station, you will see the signboard and you will not be lost. However, there is no convenience store in front of the station, and it is a little hard to shop. The hotel has a bicycle for that. The building is not new, but the room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was rich in variety and enjoyed the taste well.

This time, I wanted to enjoy the hot springs at my own pace, so I made a reservation at Gingetsu (one night stay, no midnight snack, breakfast included). It was a 5-minute walk from Suwa Taisha Shimosha and Akimiya (15 minutes from Shimosha and Harumiya), so it was the perfect location for those who love shrines and temples.
It's located in a quiet town, so it's a quiet and calm location. It's a hot spring inn with a total of about 15 rooms, so it wasn't crowded and I was able to enjoy the hot springs at my own pace in the indoor bath and the open-air bath (private time available).
The hot spring had a very soft texture, and the temperature was just right, so it didn't sting my skin.
When I was wondering what to do for dinner, when I checked in, the staff showed me a map of Shimo-Suwa and recommended some nearby restaurants.
I got the impression that they were proactive in providing information about the neighborhood, perhaps to encourage people to visit nearby shops. If you have any questions, feel free to ask the front desk.
The room's refrigerator was stocked with delicious charcoal water, and the thermos was stocked with hot water, so it was nice to be able to hydrate my tired body and have hot tea right away when I had time to calm down.
I was expecting breakfast to be something simple like rice, miso soup, natto, and hot spring water*, but there was a wide variety of dishes, including salad, several small side dishes, and grilled fish, and I was able to enjoy local ingredients, so it was a very satisfying breakfast.
I think this is a historic hot spring inn, so there are stains on the carpet in the hallway and wear on the sliding door handles in the rooms that have come with age, but the shoji screens are not torn and the hotel is very clean despite its age, and I was very happy with the price range.
I would like to use it again when I visit Shimo-Suwa.
The hotel is a traditional Japanese-style hot spring hotel with a quiet and comfortable environment. It was an old grandmother who received us when we checked in that day. Although the language was not available, we could still feel her enthusiasm and due diligence. Recommended us to eat delicious salmon rice~
The location of the hotel is also very convenient. It is only 3 minutes away from the Qiugong of the Dashe. The road will also pass the Eryewu Hotel. You can taste a variety of local famous wines at a low price of 550 yuan.
The most important thing is that the hotel hot springs are really super comfortable. The natural hot springs are much more comfortable than the hot water in the big cities. Breakfast is also mainly made of ingredients. You can feel the local characteristics of Nagano County.
Friends who want to experience Japanese old-fashioned culture and warm hospitality should not be missed. When we left, the aunt was worried that we had gone the wrong way and kept at the door until we reached the end.
Thank you very much 🙇

There was no hospitality. There was no delicious meal. The evaluation of this inn is about the location. Control of infection Although it is a little far from the entrance to the reception, it is good to do the temperature check at the entrance, but the temperature check at the reception instead of the entrance. The cherry blossoms were ”please make a mask in the building”, but there was no preparation for masking. If you have a mask, you can go to the bath or go to the meal, and you can't be troubled by the place where the mask is placed. Because I don't put the mask directly, I'm safe with myself and others, but I may not have taken measures at Suwako Ryokan Union as well as Suwako En garden. I'm disappointed that this is a measure of infection. The slipper was not replaced. (In the inn of OKU HIDA Onsen go, the slipper was provided, and the name was written, and the slipper was prevented. In addition, it was a hot spring inn in other prefectures, but there was an inn that took measures such as putting clips on each other. The seats were not opposite, but they were different. But if you are a family, what does it mean to make a difference only in the meal at the inn? I think that everyone is doing this because I don't know the composition of individual guests (family friends, etc.). The elevator was limited to two people. In the dressing room of the cherry blossom bath, the basket was placed in 1, and it was x and social distance. However, there were no regulations such as prohibition of use, such as use for 1 placement. Meals Dinner Kenchin soup, butashabu, tempura (Wakasagi zushi Nasuzu zushi Ebisu) zushi no oshimi? The strawberry and apple strawberry desserts were not particularly delicious. I carried soba over the strawberry year to the room around 9 o'clock. Cold. Breakfast New Year's Day dishes There was a cherry blossoms, and the cherry blossoms were performed. It was good to have anko and kinko. There were many ingredients such as daicon daicon chicken in the tsuruzai boiling, and the roll was dried. There was a noodle, but it was hard and not delicious. In the cherry blossom dessert, there were several chestnuts and dried persimmons ( chestnuts had to peel, no cut, no feeling of hand, dried persimmons were desserts?) In the breakfast, there was an emotion with the live performance of the koto. Room The air conditioner is equipped with a ceiling, so it is not possible to change the angle, and it is an old type that changes the temperature at low middle high. The TV is about 22 There was a washroom, a hot water toilet seat, and there was no explanation of the rental bath. Stop? There was an open-air bath in the public bath and there was a roof. WIFI was an explanation that it was not about 1 F lobby. It is almost impossible in the room. When I arrived, I didn't meet, and the young man had a non contact type thermometer, and it was only the role of pressing the temperature check and the elevator button, and just standing between the receptionist and the elevator There was no greeting, such as ”welcome”, and you are reluctant to talk? I think you're working with the feeling that you can just press the button of the temperature and the elevator, not the consciousness of greeting customers or checking for customers? I work more friendly even in my part-time job. Because of this time, I will omit the room guide, ”there is no person who carries the luggage, and there is no truck, and it seems to be unkind if it thinks that the elderly correspond to the same correspondence. At least, it was possible to make customers choose ”carry or carry by each person”. This action was only seen to protect employees. In the first place, there was no shadow like Nakai, so it was unclear whether there was no reduction in personnel. In addition, it is understood that there is no person who carries the luggage to the exit and the car, but there was no person who came to greet the exit. When such a response was taken, it was only seen that it was doing in the attitude of ”doing nothing anyway” to protect the employee rather than protecting the customer in the corona pass. As a result, I felt that there was no hospitality. No one of the employees would point out, and it seemed that there was no consciousness to act from oneself, and the quality of the inn was seen. HP said, ”I will welcome you with a warm hospitality.” I couldn't feel the warmth at all. I was disappointed to expect cooking because it was the end of the year and the beginning of the year. I thought that the old one was only a building, but I don't know why the evaluation is high. Basically, the inn on the Suwa lake is high, especially at the end of the year and the beginning of the year and the fireworks festival, but this is a cherry blossom. Is it okay to stay in business or stay overnight?
It's a bit out of town, but I don't think it's a problem because there's plenty of parking space. The view and water from the open-air hot spring were very nice.
The staff is very friendly!
This is a place I want to visit again next time.
There are a wide range of room options from small to large, so I think they are suitable for a family trip!!!!! Lake Suwa can be seen beautifully from the open-air bath.
Very Good
