Chichifu Miyamoto soup bought one berth and two meals. The room was relatively fine, but the dinner was really rich. I put on a bathrobe and kimono to eat with my family. The ceremony was full and the hot spring was very clean and comfortable.

Since it was an inn that served meals in the room, I made a reservation. I decided to stay at an inn in Saitama's Chichibu District for the first time since I was told that they were offering both a nationwide discount and a special Saitama sightseeing coupon. Furthermore, during this period, there was a paypay point return (20%), so I decided to pay with paypay. It seems to be a popular inn, and even though it was a weekday, it was fully booked. For women, we provide a colored yukata service. The room I reserved was an 8 tatami Japanese-style room + 6 tatami dining room + bedrock bath room. I occasionally book a room with an open-air bath, but this is the first time I've booked a room with a bedrock bath. The dining room and sleeping room are not connected, so the sleeping room had futons placed first and a kotatsu, so it felt a little small. However, it was a cold day with the cold wave returning, so I was grateful for the kotatsu. The washroom and toilet had been renovated and were clean. The private open-air bath is free once (there is also a washing area). The private bath was a large bath, and the hot spring water in the bath was smooth and smooth, and it was a good hot spring. The hot water in the private bath is said to be from Dairyuji Onsen, also located in Ogano Town. There is no open-air bath in the indoor bath. When I used it, there was one person from my neighborhood (?). The hot water here is a little hot and not smooth, but it is a nice and gentle hot spring. The washroom area was heated so it wasn't cold (all-in cosmetics were available). The water I used after taking a bath was from the tap, but it was from Ogano City, which is famous for its water, so it was delicious. Dinner was served in the comfort of your own room, and served local Chichibu cuisine with gentle seasoning and fresh ingredients. Although it was winter, we enjoyed local flavors such as rape blossoms dressed with mustard, homemade konjac, wild boar salami, Ogano vegetable tempura, black rice from local Machida farm, and salt-grilled rockfish. What I was also happy about was that it came with three types of local Chichibu sake, and if you made friends on the line, they gave you a glass of beer (small) for free. 300cc of local sake starts at 880 yen. Before breakfast, I tried using the bedrock bath attached to the room. I think it used to be a 6 tatami Japanese-style room, but it is now a modern room with wooden flooring and bedrock bathrobes. The instructions told me to sleep on my back or stomach for about 15 minutes, but since I'm impatient (?!), I immediately went to take a bath. It's a waste. Breakfast was served in the room and was well balanced. The rice was served in a bowl, so I had to refill it and ended up eating a lot. I was happy that they brought me coffee after the meal. This inn has been in existence since the Meiji era and has been selected as one of the top 100 small inns in Japan. The host, the landlady, and everyone at the inn treated us with hospitality, making it a warm-hearted inn. I would like to visit again.
Every New Year's holiday is a holiday village, but since I've exhausted most of the vacation villages I can drive from my home, this year I decided to visit Ryojinsou, an inn run by a group (who seems to be advising on management). did. The location is less than an hour from Chichibu city, in a lonely place in the mountains. The convenience store is located about 5 minutes by car in the direction of Chichibu. The building has a new building and an old building. The restaurant, lobby, and shop are in the old building, and the public bath is in the new building. This time I used a Japanese-style room in the new building, but even though it's a new building, it's quite dated and reminded me of a nostalgic vacation village from a long time ago. Dinner is a set meal at the restaurant, and breakfast is buffet style. Dinner seemed to be a little poorer than the standard course at the vacation village. Isn't the breakfast on the same level? The good thing about this place is the hot springs, both the outdoor and indoor baths are thick alkaline springs. When I first entered the bath after checking in, I didn't feel it was thick, perhaps because there were so many people using it, or because there were a lot of additional baths, but after a meal, when there were fewer people, I could feel the bath becoming thicker. However, I don't know if it was because of the New Year holidays or because of the reasonable fees, but there were a lot of regulars and small children, and there were some unpleasant moments. Although it is part of the Kyukamura group, there was only one room key, and there were no common items such as slipper clips. They are working hard with a small number of staff members, and you can feel their care everywhere, but I still feel like they are not coming out of their shell of a national lodging facility. Thank you very much for your help.

There is so much to like about this place. We stayed in the newer separate building called Hanamizuki, just down the road from the old main building. The building is great, very well-kept and tastefully furnished, and very comfortable and unpretentious. The staff are all very friendly, polite and helpful; great service overall. We took our toddler and the staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful with her. The room we stayed in is pretty typical, which means a very clean and spacious Japanese room, with the bed being two comfortable mattresses on a low platform. Lots of floor space for kids to play. The room opens out onto an open-air balcony which contains a shower and your very own private bath, looking out over a forest. Very happy with the room, and the private bath was awesome. Dinner is served in your own private space in the dining area. Pork shabu shabu was top quality and there was plenty to eat as it was served with excellent sashimi and other good food. Breakfast was less impressive but still high-quality and reasonably filling if you don't mind a very Japanese breakfast. Coffee is available on request. Tip: don't pay for any alcohol in the hotel. Sake is free in the shared onsen bath, and you get a free taster set included with dinner. If you want beer or other drinks, walk down to the ”michi no eki” about five minutes down the road and you can buy local beer etc. far cheaper than in the hotel itself. So why three stars? The big problem for us was that smoking was allowed in the balcony/bath areas of each room. Twice during our one-night stay the horrible smell of cigarette smoke came into our room from some other balcony, forcing us to close the door and making our own balcony unusable for that time. The single best thing they can do is to make a smoking room somewhere on the site and make all the rooms and balconies entirely smoke free. 全部の部屋を禁煙して欲しい。 Other than that, it was just a couple of little things. If you are arriving and leaving by train, for example, your check in and check out times will be dictated by the train timetable. We wanted to stay right up until 11am but we had to check out at 10am in order to be taken to the train. Additionally, the location is OK but not great. There's very little in the immediate area, so might not be a good ”base” for sightseeing. Most people are there for the comfort and pleasure of the hotel itself it seems. Finally, you are given some ”free” souvenir gifts as you checkout. Both the ones we got were relatively low-quality and not what we would have chosen, and we basically felt like it was something extra to carry when we already had lots of luggage. Advice to the management: cut the free omiyage and reduce the price by 1000 yen a night. So, for some kinds of people this will be a five star, and great value for that as well. On the other hand, if the smell of cigarette smoke is a deal-breaker for you, I can't recommend you stay here at all, so three stars it is.
