Very Japanese-style hotel
Quiet location, 13 minutes walk from the station, is a good choice to stay away from the hustle and bustle
Self-driving tour/Additional shuttle service is recommended
Toilet and bathroom need to be shared with other guests
There is a sink in the room for washing
Large room with tatami and terrace
A good choice to feel Japanese rural life
It is not directly related to the hotel, but the approach from the station is bad if you use a suitcase. The asphalt on the sidewalk is large and narrow. It is dangerous because the road width is narrow and the traffic volume is large when using the roadway without the power pole. There are no convenience stores around, and there are few street lights. It is necessary to be at the station to do anything. Hotel is general Toyoko inn.

Just walk down the first floor at the exit of Mito Station (the exit of the station is 2F), turn right and you will arrive. The location is convenient, and there is no problem with communication in English. The service is also very good, I will want to live again, there is free parking for self-driving, and it is recommended to eat.
The building itself may be a little old, but there is no omission because it is a hotel where you can have a wedding. The room is large and has a sofa so you can relax. The unit bath seems to have been replaced and is beautiful. The only thing that's unfortunate is that I couldn't find an outlet at the bedside. The location is within 5 minutes from Mito Station, but it is inconvenient if you have a carry because the last slope is steep. There are other hotels closer to the station than here. It seems that parking was free before, but now it is 500 yen per night. However, it is helpful to have a flat parking lot (without roof) with a wide 々 behind the hotel and free access as many times as you like (a style of giving a parking ticket to the front desk every time you enter the warehouse). The Kodokan of the sightseeing spot is just behind the scenes, and it is recommended because it can be seen in 1 ~ 2 hours of free time.
This hotel has two strong attributes. It is five minutes walk from the railway station with its shops and restaurants and offers free car parking to guests albeit on a first come, first served basis. The car park has 16 spaces but in nearly two weeks I never had a problem getting a space although it was November. There are several more spaces under the hotel itself. There are local pay car parks close by but at 400-550 yen they aren't cheap. The hotel itself is dated and could do with a refresh especially in some of the the common areas. Stained carpets, with tatty and dirty paintwork in places aren't appealing and are easy to fix. That said, my room was clean, warm and the double bed was very comfortable. Unlike some Japanese hotels the bathroom wasn't one of these plastic capsules which looks like it has been dropped into the room. However, the bathroom itself while functional was again old. The TV had only Japanese channels but there was a fridge and a denji kettle for making tea and coffee. The wi-fi functioned fine. My room was no smoking but there was a whiff of cigarette smoke in the corridor. The staff were very friendly but spoke minimal English and offered me a bottle of water or a beer on arrival which was a lovely gesture. Reading this you might be thinking it all sounds a bit grim but it's not. It is an inexpensive hotel which is a bit tired and could do with updating. The location is great and the free car park is a real draw.
Use it on a business trip around the prefectural office. I chose it because there was a free parking lot with a large flat. There were many vijiho around Mito station, but parking lot is paid and the prefectural office is far from the station. This is reasonable. It is a normal Vijiho, beautiful, free coffee, free breakfast, and bathing agent. Breakfast is only a service, so there is nothing big. I think the room is large if it is a single. Twins are narrow because they spread the sofa in the single room and make it a bed. There are long pajamas and dryers. The guest did not see the female guest in the feeling that it was a stay person for the business trip and the neighboring construction.
The standards of the hotel, in terms of design, cleanliness & comfort amazed me and wife. Service from car park, reception to restaurant was really commendable. Breakfasts were meticulously served with first morning in Japanese set and the second in Western. I don't know how old the hotel is but the working and upkeeping condition of the interiors and fittings is superbly impressive and puts many newly opened hotels I had stayed to shame. For the price we paid, this is a really an unusually spacious hotel (room & public areas). During our 8 nights of travelling from Tokyo - Kusatsu - Minakami - Tokyo, this hotel was the best and we will highly recommend to anyone who visits Mito. My congratulation & praise to the staff and management of the Mito Plaza Hotel. Keep it up!
Although it is a little far from Mito station, there is a multi-storey parking lot, the overall atmosphere is beautiful, the room is spacious and the cost performance is good. It is also close to a bar district, so it is suitable for business travelers and those who have a second party in the entertainment district. In addition to the restaurant, there is also a convenience store on the first floor, which is convenient. It is necessary to bring amenity goods from near the front desk, but from the viewpoint of environmental consideration in recent years, there is no choice. If I'm being selfish, it would be even better if the toilet paper was doubled. I wonder if that's a luxury.
I used it for my husband and wife, but when I got the key and entered the room, there was a small trunk, what? I thought, and when I looked at the bathroom, the shadow was ... I was scared and I immediately headed to the front desk. I confirmed that I had double booking with other guests, but there is no such thing. When I went to check the room, I replied that there was nothing. This is a couple and two couples confirming a certain shadow. I changed to another room because it was disgusting, but this experience was trauma and I didn't sleep at all. I imagined that the wanderer would go into the vacant room with the key and take a shower. It was such a horror experience. I don't want to stay here again. Please be careful who will stay from now on.

LLinThis is great hostel.
There is free water and some coffee.
If you enjoy hotspring, this is a best choice.
YyurikagomeYou can get a free drink ticket at check-in. The drink is received in the lobby and you can bring it to the room by 21 o'clock on the day, and I didn't get it, but if you want, you can eat Udon for dinner on your own. I thought it was a good hotel for people who did not need excessive service, with free breakfast in walking distance, few but cartoons in the lobby, etc. in the room. I'm glad that it's a reasonable price.

WWLS008I came for the plum festival on March 2023.I think the flowering rate is about 50%.It seems that there are early and late blooming plums, and there were many plums that were still in bud.The entrance fee was 300 yen.Parking is advantageous during the plum festival and costs 500 yen.It was a weekday so it wasn't crowded.

Mito Low District Water Tower
キキリエIt is close to Mito station. You can walk. It was a retro and gentle pastel color water tower. It's really beautiful and impressive. It didn't seem like a practical building.

Mito Castle Ruins
CCitywalk if possibleThe old Mito Castle has passed away silently over the years, and only the ruins of Mito Castle remain. A primary school and a junior high school were built on it. The architectural style is designed to imitate the original style. However, from the ruins, we can roughly imagine the original scale.
Mitoshi Okushikaizuka Fureai Park
Ccoo***anThe road from here to the salmon information center is a bike lane, so it is fun to walk on a sunny day. The park is not big, but let's take a look at the planes and see the famous water entrance.
Semba Boadwalk
Ddwj-Qianbo Lake Pedestrian Path, Yule Paradise, Yule Park are connected leisure areas, too big, the light Qianbo Lake Trail is 3km in a circle. You can only rent a car at Shuihu Station and rent a bicycle to ride. I rented a light car with 4 stalls. There is a hanging basket at the front of the car with 4 big characters for car rental sightseeing. I am really not afraid of being stolen. If it weren't for the black swan who didn't know the 4 big characters for car rental sightseeing, he just had to block the car in the road, and he really wouldn't take pictures. The black goose built his nest on the embankment, and stopped every man.
Tokiwa Shrine
游游侠半仙Near the East Gate of the Paradise, [View] is built on the hillside, and the stone steps along the slope of the road are up. The bird residence is very powerful. [Fun] is the patron saint of learning. [Cost-effective] Please Zhu Yin 500 yuan
