The property is non-smoking and is located 35 km from Konakano Station. The air-conditioned holiday home consists of 1 bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a coffee machine, and 1 bathroom with a bidet and slippers. Towels and bed linen are provided in the holiday home. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Guests can take advantage of the warm weather with the property's barbecue facilities. Our son is stationed in Misawa, and the hotel is 2 blocks from base. There is a hot breakfast buffet included with the room. We had a smoking room as that is all they had and it wasn't too bad. We did open the window which helped. The rooms are very clean and are cleaned daily. The bath is on the small side but the heated toilet makes up for that. Free parking behind the hotel. We could never find a vacancy but our travel agent was able to.
The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. That's where the positive review ends. The advertising states they have a restaurant on the premises. That's not entirely true. Yes, they have a restaurant that serves a buffet style breakfast, but other than, you better not get hungry during the day, because the restaurant closes by 9 or 10 am. The advertising also states that they have air-conditioning, they do not have air-conditioning in the rooms, which makes for a very humid and uncomfortable stay to say the least. What is is about Japan? For such an advanced country they sure lack basic amenities inside the hotels. It seems as if they enjoy perspiring and being sweaty all day. Very disappointed. I wish I had stayed elsewhere or not come at all, it seems like ALL Japanese hotels are the same. Tiny rooms and sweaty, humid/damp rooms. They can avoid the toothpaste, toothbrush and shaver crap (who travels without their own toiletries?) and give the guest a comfortable climate in the room to sleep in.

The convenience of us partying all night, not worrying about getting a taxi to get to the hotel because it was near by everywhere.
I booked the room the day we were staying and still found it cheaper than any places, knowing the convenience of the location.
I recommend! 👍🏻
The staff was exceptionally accommodating and very kind. The gentleman at the front desk literally ran when I requested extra pillows. Also he gave us a non smoking room when I booked the only room they had which was smoking. The room was large and the air conditioning kept you cold! The nightwear also was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. This hotel was definitely a 4 star in my books!!
Although the facility was quite old, the price was reasonable and the rooms were well-cleaned, so I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in a traditional Japanese inn. I visited by train, and it is just a short walk from the east exit of Misawa Station on the Aoimori Railway, and you can see the building from the station platform, so it's easy to get lost.
There is a large public bath, but it seems to be unisex, so women in particular should remember to lock the door when using it. My room was on the first floor, but the Wifi signal was weak.
When I searched for ”near hot springs” at Lake Ogawara, the roadside station, it came out, so I went immediately. So, it's my first time, so why not wander around the bathhouse? I don't know who, but I was told, ”Wash your body and then enter.” I thought I knew it. I felt sick. At the timing of entering and leaving the sauna, I heard a voice from a distance saying, ”When you take a cold bath, wash your body and then enter.” Is there something being monitored? I wondered if I didn't want some stranger to come.
