The location is the best, but free parking, new renewed facilities, clean, modern and artistic sense, spacious rooms, mini-mini refrigerator, hair dryer, air conditioning. However, if you go alone, it may be scary to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night ㅋㅋ. Check in at a pretty cafe on the first floor, there is also an elevator
This hotel gave me a very big surprise, no matter the environment, service, facilities and food are super standard, the favorite is that its hot spring facilities are large and comfortable, there are flower hot springs, all-you-can-drink Japanese wine, are extraordinary experiences, very recommended!
It is an older hot spring hotel. If you stop by Kotohira-machi, you can try it out.
Due to old age, the corridors do not look that clean, but the overall rooms are actually okay.
There is an indoor hot spring on the sixth floor and an open-air hot spring on the rooftop on the eighth floor. You can take a dip if you like, which is good.
I made an appointment at a relatively cheap price of more than 300 yuan, so I can give it a try.

The hotel is clean and tidy. Toiletries and bathrobes are available for free in the lobby. There are convenience stores, restaurants and large supermarkets next to it, which is very convenient.
It takes about ten minutes to walk to JR Kotohira Station or the nearest Kototetsu Station. There is a parking lot for self-driving cars.
There are public spaces, a kitchen, and a large bath with a view on the second floor of the hotel. However, due to limited time, I was unable to use the facilities.
The room is quite large for one person. You can choose air conditioning/heating. There is a TV, a refrigerator, and a bathtub in the toilet.
It takes about 20-30 minutes to walk from the hotel to the entrance of Kotohira-gu Shrine (excluding the steps inside the temple)
You can also enjoy the starry sky at night at the door
The overall price is affordable and affordable. Recommended to travelers who are willing to live in Kotohira Town.
We stayed for two nights and booked Kaiseki cuisine for dinner at the hotel on the first night. The kaiseki cuisine provided by the hotel is satisfactory in terms of dishes and portion size, and the restaurant environment is very spacious.
It’s one of the best hotels I’ve even stayed in! Cozy, relaxing, great private and public onsen, with superb friendly staff!
My family and I had a great time there and it’s already our second time there and we strongly recommend it to all of you😊
The hotel service is average, with polite and friendly reception. We try our best to accommodate guests' requests such as last-minute meal reservations. There are many choices for breakfast, the quantity is rich, and the taste is suitable. The price and service are reasonable. The place and room are relatively old and need maintenance. It's all OK. The hot spring facilities are about the same age as the building. The place is large and sufficient. I'm generally satisfied with my stay this time.
Hotel is new, clean and comfortable. 4 private 24hrs onsen and 1 each ladies /Men onsen.
It locates at the starting point of Konpira temple, so you can go back to hotel and take a rest after visit. Room is a bit small ( for the smallest room type) compare with other Onsen Hotel, suggest to book a larger room so it will be easier for luggage’s.
Suggested to book package incl breakfast n dinner, as there is not many restaurants for choosing around these.
Riverside Hotel, exceeded expectations, cost-effective, detailed and complete, clean, and has a swimming pool, a very good experience, recommended, the breakfast environment is also very good, although there are fewer choices, it is still good

HHONG KUOENVery top accommodation, Japanese-style room, the whole is very particular, the bathroom is separated, very close to the Jindao Biro's gindao. The service staff was polite and polite, and was very patient when they encountered problems. Not only was they not angry, but they also invited us to eat noodles very kindly. It was a restaurant I liked very much!

I stayed with my family for one night only to climb Mr. kinhira.
The room is no problem if you just sleep.

The nearby rice shop was delicious and good.
Super dissatisfaction
I can't stop because the import car is large in the parking lot.
I was taken to a parking lot a little far away.
It's a decent car, so I'm worried that I'm going to take it to a place I don't see, and I took it to a place I didn't know at check-out, but I was told to look at the map myself to get it.
I was very, very dissatisfied.
徐徐As a century-old store, it is indeed very nostalgic. The sanitation is ok, the public areas and rooms are very good, there is no peculiar smell. The old couple is warm and kind. The location of the hotel is great, provided you want to climb the mountain. Because I was already halfway down the mountain, I saved a lot of effort. And it is convenient to go in the morning, almost no one!
