As expected, it was located in Kesennuma, a port town, and the fish dishes were very delicious. Dinner was left to the chef, but there were seafood such as sea bream, octopus, squid, saury, salmon, and hoya. Breakfast was also served with freshly cooked rice and miso soup, and freshly baked cherry blossoms, * baked, and onion toro, and I was really satisfied with the meal. Many of the employees were very kind, and they answered various questions without disgust. I was able to stay comfortably. Speaking of greed, there is a large communal bath (artificial radium spring), so I thought it would be convenient to have a thin towel that can be brought back, which is common in hot spring inns. Also, I wonder if the female bathtub was a little narrow. Overall, it is a hotel that can be recommended.

This is a majestic place to stay. Fantastic room, onsen and staff hospitality. It is also walkable but includes an incline that is a bit perilous. The breakfast buffet was infinite but somehow looked better than it tasted. There are numerous transportation options that I didn’t know about before arrival so be sure to inquire.
Hotel along bypass in the suburbs of Kesennuma. Business hotel but low-rise building and large bath and facilities are comfortable. The room type is also cheap and the room is large and nice for the out bus and there is no bathroom. The public bath is also available from midnight 2 and early morning 5, so there is no problem without a bus. There was no transfer and it was about 1600 yen by taxi from Kesennuma station. The meal and dinner were half Viking and the content was not bad. Basically, it is a fixed content, so it may be a little insufficient in the case of a drinking system in a local specialty.
Stayed overnight during a tour of Japan. This past of the coast was devastated in the 2011 tsunami so part of the visit was to see how the region has recovered and to enjoy the beautiful costal scenery. This is a small hotel overlooking the beach. The rooms and comfortable and ours was very spacious with a small balcony overlooking the seashore. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in room and there are vending machines with various kinds of cold drinks available. The hotel includes an Onsen bath for men and women which was very nice to use. Traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast are included. Dinner was about 10 courses and although the menu was all in Japanese the waiter was super helpful and tried to explain what some of the dishes were. These included sashimi, sharks fin soup, grilled marlin, beef tongue ( a delicious local specialty, tastes like beef brisket) steak fillet, various vegetables steamed or pickled, soup, and egg plant ice cream for dessert. Very filling and delicious.
