This is a bit worn out and simple hotel. The best things were the extremely friendly and helpful staff, as well as the super delicious dinner & breakfast that was included in the price. I ate maybe the most delicious croissant ever here. The variety and the quality of food was great. Things to improve are the facilities, especially the onsen. It’s very small but more importantly, it wasn’t well maintained and there was no emergency button. When my mom felt like fainting, it wasn’t possible to call for help.
Also the air conditioner in the room was very loud, making it difficult to sleep. All in all, good stay.

This was my second visit.
I had originally booked a hotel with a sea view by mistake and was thinking of cancelling, but then I received a call and thought that their polite service must be reliable so I decided to stay.
It was a wonderful inn just as I expected, with the large public bath and the three private baths being clean and all lovely.
The food was also elaborate and wonderful. It compares favourably to Michelin-starred cuisine.
What was particularly wonderful was that when I wrote about a slight issue that bothered me last year, they had improved it this year. I'm not sure if they only made the changes to us so I won't go into details, but this inn really had great attention to detail.

The staff are very polite and always willing to help. The room is big and comfortable. The sound-proof work is also effective, so I hardly hear any noise from rooms nearby.
However, note that the hotel is in the middle of a mountain. If you don’t drive, you have to rely on the car service which the hotel offers (free of charge but not always available). It is almost impossible to go by foot.
However, I must say the hotel staff has always tried their best to cater your needs, which I appreicate very much.

AAiwandexiaopengyouIt's a great hotel. Once you make a reservation, someone will call you to confirm your arrival time and dining time. You can also book a car to pick you up at Hejin Station. Because we didn’t confirm what time we would arrive at the hotel, and we didn’t book a car. Unexpectedly, when we arrived at Hejin Station, there was an uncle waiting for me holding a sign with my name. It was so touching! The environment of the hotel is very good. There are only 7 rooms in total. The service staff are very nice. Although their English is not good, they try to communicate with translators and basically meet our needs.
You can book a private bath time when you stay in the hotel. The private bath is not big, but it is more than enough for two people to soak in. It is very comfortable and the milk provided for bathing is delicious. The hotel's environment is very new, the breakfast and dinner are delicious and plentiful, and the overall value for money is actually quite high.
The hotel is actually only six or seven minutes' walk from Hejin Station, which is still very close. There are also convenience stores, supermarkets and drugstores opposite Hejin Station, which is very convenient. Recommended!

This is information that should be provided to guests prior to checking in, especially if you're staying only one night. Everything is a la carte and pricy. Seating around the pool is also by reservation only instead of first come first served. Breakfast was delicious and worth paying for in advance. Onsen was super relaxing with nice outdoor bath. Overall, the value for what I paid wasn't worth it, so I will not stay at this hotel again.

LLaamKThree months before departure, I had made a reservation to stay at this Rikka Ishidaya hotel during the Kawazu Sakura Festival❤️ It only takes 15 minutes to walk from Kawazu Station to the hot spring hotel. On the way, you will pass Shuzuji Temple, where you can buy cherry blossom seals.
When you arrive at the hot spring hotel, you must first register, and then the staff will introduce you to the room. The room is very large, and faces a large Kawazu cherry tree. The back garden is shared by every guest (so remember to lock all doors when sleeping), but check-in There were no other guests in the garden that day, so I had the entire garden to myself. There are also many sunflowers and different plants planted in the garden. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs in the room. You can also see cherry blossom trees outdoors. You can enjoy the cherry blossoms while soaking in the hot springs. It is very relaxing 😍 (You can also buy eggs at the reception desk and then go back. Room in hot spring hot spring egg)
Breakfast and dinner can be eaten in the room or in the restaurant when checking in. We chose to eat in our own room, and we were super shocked when the dinner was delivered🤩The sashimi was very fresh❤️You can also grind the raw sunflower by yourself, it tastes very fragrant. The whole dinner was very rich and filling. After eating, you can put it in the small hall when you enter the house, and the staff will clean it up.
If you need to eat breakfast in the room the next day, you have to go to the restaurant to take it to the room by yourself😊
The overall experience is very satisfying and the staff is super friendly. In addition, the exclusive large back garden, the cherry blossom trees outside the room, dinner, private hot spring, etc. are worth the price. However, the disadvantage is that the WiFi is poor and you need to use your own data to access the Internet normally.
In addition, there are fish ponds outside some rooms in this hotel, and feed will be provided for the residents to feed the fish, so you can first look at the several room types on the official website before choosing a suitable room.

DDanielThe food and service was very good. Unfortunately, there was no hot water and no onsen to use on-site. Concidering it was advertised as an onsen hotel, with outdoor bath, this was very dissapointing. We did however have access to an outdoor onsen 200m/5 min walk away which was nice. While the tatatami room where we slept was clean enough, the bath section of our room was a little dusty, as was the rest of the hotel which is in need of a deep clean, new carpet and general refresh. The staff where lovely and very accomodating.

Очень все понятно объяснили сразу, когда я приехала, где что находится и как пользоваться. Онсены называли bathroom. Номер хорошо обогревается кондиционером. Мне бесплатно повысили категорию номера до вида на море. Очень приятно было пить чай на балконе и смотреть на море и горы. Столовая, где утром завтрак, тоже отличается прекрасным видом. До цветения в кавадзу можно дойти за 20 минут по красивой дороге.

PPANGTake the elderly to see the Kawaji Sakura, which is just in full bloom in mid-February. Very happy. There is a bus to the hotel at the bus stop near Hejin Station. At the information desk, we showed the hotel address, and the uncle staff instructed to get off at the ”Ciyanyuanqian” stop, which is the opposite! It is also convenient (note that the bus schedule is very sparse, the journey takes about 20 minutes, and the fare is 400 yen per person). On the return trip, the hotel has a free car to take us away. The environment of the hotel is elegant and clean, and the dinner and breakfast are all right. There is night cherry during the check-in period, and the hotel has a free car arrangement after dinner (not to imagine China and the United States, it is a pity not to see it). The hotel has to take the stairs and the bathroom is outside the room, so the elderly should pay attention! Overall satisfactory.

WwhateveryHot spring Japanese-style hotel tatami public bathroom homestay is very close to the station. Outside the window is Hejin Sakura. The hotel name is not matched by the display on Trip.com . I didn’t dare to confirm that it was actually a soup house.
The boss is very good. It rains the next day. Bubble hot springs. It’s really good to experience the medicine stone bath. The medicine stone bath needs an extra fee of 1980. Dan is still worth experiencing.

NNU-IIIn fact, it is a very unique hotel, suitable for backpackers. It is better to call it a hotel than a B&B. You can feel the concept that the proprietress wants to create, but the accommodation is actually not very convenient.
The room is for sleeping only, the bathroom is shared, and you need to go to the shared bathroom to take a shower. For traveling alone, nothing. You can also get to know tourists from various countries.
The location is far from the station, but it is close to the sea and you can feel the tranquility in the mountains very well. Maybe it was a bad season and the area was very quiet. This B&B should be very busy in autumn and winter.
