The location of the apartment is excellent, located opposite the Kagoshima Station on the island line (non-JR Kagoshima Central Station), the Sakurajima Port Pier and the Ocean Zoo are close at hand, and the Sakurajima volcano can be seen very clearly. Transportation is not too convenient. The room is large in size, and the decoration is uniquely Japanese-style exquisite, quite simple and clean. Air conditioning, refrigerator, washing machine, kitchen utensils are complete. Three adults and two babies stayed for four days and three nights. It is very convenient and comfortable. It is highly recommended. Fortunately, the night before leaving, I was fortunate to see the Orchid Festival Fire and Fire Conference held in Sakurajima Port. The locals were dressed in costume and came to the city. It was quite lively and atmosphere.

It is a business hotel located in the downtown Tenmonkan in Minami Kyushu, but it was only called ”Rem”, and I was able to sleep well as rarely for me to sleep until I was woken up by the alarm clock. The city trams and buses are running on the road right in front of me, but I didn't care about the noise at all. １ I had breakfast at the talis in the building because it was breakfast for the night, but it was quite well organized and substantial. I was able to choose from hot dog pancake toast.

The hotel itself felt to be a little too rich and classy than what I’m normally used to (not a bad thing). I didn’t give the full 5 for location mainly since the hotel sits on top of a hill within the city, walking is kinda out of question unless your up for winding incline up and down the hill. There are included transportations though which is nice and the trade off being the gorgeous views of the city and volcano (sakurajima) that sits across the water. There are also included restaurants, stores, bath, lounges, and even a convenience store built into the hotel too which was nice.

Room was a decent size, fully equipped with washing machine, kitchen utensils, fridge, microwave. Very clean.
Unfortunately I did not receive the email with the entry code for the main entrance. That resulted in my waiting outside in the cold for almost an hour before getting the code through Trip.com customer service, before I could enter the building and into my room.
Also, Staytus only has a phone number to call for emergencies - it would be helpful to have at least an email alternative also, since foreigners may not have a mobile phone that can make calls in Japan.

The service level is not in place. Although it is a self-service homestay apartment, it should be done a week in advance to inform the reservation guests to pay attention to the mailbox to receive the password and other procedures. However, the management did not fulfill the obligation to inform in advance. It was only the day before check-in that the email related to the password was sent, and the guests had difficulty accepting the email in Japan at this time, resulting in finding that they could not enter the door when they checked in. I saw the email after a search, and the check-in experience was very poor. Ctrip customers' assistance and response are timely and efficient, must be criticized the apartment management's practice and concept!

It is almost the same as other business hotels, and the rooms and bathrooms are basically clean, but the bathrooms are especially small, and some of the facilities are outdated. You can be served breakfast in the lobby on the first floor, depending on your accommodation plan. There seems to be enough tables and chairs, but due to the large number of rooms, especially on holidays when the rooms are almost full, it may be too crowded to eat breakfast. However, there are cafes and convenience stores around the hotel that open early in the morning, so you won't have any trouble finding food. The hotel can be used as a good base for sightseeing in Kagoshima.

TTomohitomoLeave the west exit of the central station (big camera side) and go to the JR Kyushu Hotel. Just walk the second corner of the family on the road from the station rotary and go to the left hand. It is a little difficult to find, but I am surprised by the distance feeling too close to the station. The building is a relaxed atmosphere, the air conditioning is effective, and the dormitory and the water are clean. The facilities in the building are only shower booths, but if you want to take a large bath, there are 2 ～ 3 public baths nearby. It is not a distance to cool the hot water (it is not sweating in summer), so it is also a wind flow to go to the local public bath in Kagoshima. In Kagoshima City, where there are few cheap inn, it seems to be a regular inn because of the goodness of Cospa.

RResort810795It is a stay with GOTO children. The appearance is an old and small business hotel, but it was comfortable inside. We stayed at the zashiki. It is very good that the hot water pot is installed in a high place that the child can't reach, and the bathroom is surprisingly large. Also, when I arrived, I gave my child a little toy. After receiving it, if you had another color good, you would have come to the front desk quickly, and you would have a different color. It was very nice and really appreciated. Also, breakfast is delicious. You can choose chicken rice or fish tea pickles or curry, and you come out with mori salad and baked fish. I was very satisfied from the morning. The Astronomical Museum is also within walking distance. I will choose this place when I go to Kagoshima City again.

Sshanghai1973From the Astronomical Museum Airport Bus Stop, walk about 5 ､ 6 minutes, and the tram ”Takami Baba tram stop” in front of the hotel. There are many hotels around, this is a new and nice hotel to look at. All the front staff were kind, color 々 guided me, and when I heard it in the afternoon, I gave me a discount ticket. The single room is a little larger than a normal business hotel, the bed is double size, the interior is clean and modern. I love artificial carbonated baths and my skin is smooth. The restaurant on the 13th floor seems to be a lot of locals, I used 3 meals, it was delicious. The only thing I want to improve is that there is no ballpoint pen in the room, and I want to take a note 々, but maybe everyone has a my pen in this era.

GGuest UserI had a family use a room (Japanese style room) with tatami mats for two nights. It was a pity that the child was as small as 9 months, and the high-high and the grip were popular, and the hotel with only ordinary beds could not move around, and when I went to bed, I was afraid of falling unless I was a futon, so I was looking for a room with tatami mats. I found Mr. Icott around that time. I had all the furniture and home appliances, so I felt very relaxed as if I was at home. It was very nice that the children could move around. And it was very beautiful. At the time of check-in, I was caught in a traffic jam and couldn't make it in time, but the staff was very polite to explain the procedure carefully by phone. I definitely want to use it again.

This time I used the cheapest plan, so I was a little worried about the musty smell of the bathroom and air conditioner. The size of the rooms has a relaxing feeling that is not in the cheap business of the city. It is recommended for those who say that small rooms are not good even if they are clean. For those who like alcohol, isn't it unbearable to have a shochu tasting corner? The fun of business trips is local sake! I would like to recommend it to my boss who took care of me. I was also taught that the hotel at work is a place to sleep. The location is good and the downtown area crowded with restaurants is within walking distance. There is an arcade roof, so it seemed convenient even in bad weather. Recommended for business use and traveling alone. The staff's response was also very good.

Ssyodo278We stayed for 1 night (¥1,900) in a male dormitory. It is a guest house full of 4 story condominiums. The male dormitory is on the 4 floor and it is a bit troublesome to climb and down to the 1 floor. The cleanliness of the bed and water field was a level that I didn't particularly care about. The air conditioning in the dormitory was just good, and I didn't care about the sound of the 2-stage bed, and I was able to sleep well. There is a seven eleven diagonally across the road. You can use a credit card for the adjustment. As a note, there is a photograph that Sakurajima can hope from the rooftop on the reservation site, but it seems that a large warehouse has been built recently, and the view of Sakurajima side has been blocked. I think it's a good guest house except that.

From there, I drove to Hotel ribmaxＢＵＤＧＥＴ Kagoshima. There was a three-dimensional parking lot at the back of the super center Nissimta, which was a designated parking lot. Nishimta is a very large discount store. I could buy dinner here, but I bought it in Lawson (sweat;) across the road and headed for ribmax. The lobby is like this.
