This is the second and last time I have stayed at a hotel, as I have not been able to travel this year. Inuyama is about an hour by car or train from my home, and I have been there several times before. There are several hotels with similar grades and rates around Inuyama Station, but I chose this one because the website clearly states that ”parking before check-in and after check-out, and luggage storage is available” (other hotels maybe a hotel). I went by car, but it is about a 5-minute walk from the station and a 15-minute walk to Inuyama Castle. The room is not that big or new, but it was clean and there was no shortage of facilities and equipment. We had a plan with breakfast, but the content was satisfactory. There are many restaurants on Honmachi Street, which extends south from Inuyama Castle, but most of them are for tourists and are not open at night, so we decided to have dinner at an izakaya-like restaurant near the station.

We stayed here the day before going to Meiji Village. Unfortunately, it was drizzling on the day of our stay, but from our room we could see several people standing in boats fishing on the enormous Iruka Pond. The next morning, the sky was clear and the mirror-like view on the lake's surface was amazing. Dinner was brought to us one dish at a time and was delicious. We were grateful for the kind words and thoughtfulness of the staff. The bath was also good. The only drawback was that the toilet in the room was small. Thank you to all the staff.

Due to an error I made while booking, I mistakenly booked the hotel for 25/9 instead of the intended 26/9, and I was unaware of this mistake until i rushed into the lobby. When I arrived at the hotel, it was already dark, and the staff informed me that there was no reservation under my name and discovered that the booking was for the previous day. While I contacted Trip.com’s customer service, a senior hotel staff member who spoke Mandarin diligently followed up on my situation. She was very attentive, constantly reassuring me and stating that they had a room for me. I am very grateful for her support; however, the other two staff members on duty seemed a bit impatient. Even when I thanked them after the issue was resolved, they did not make any eye contact with me, which is very rare in Japan. I hope this was just an isolated incident. After successfully contacting Trip.com’s customer service, they said they would directly contact the hotel, and if the hotel cooperated, they could change the check-in date for free. Fortunately, the hotel manager unconditionally assisted in changing the check-in date, and I was able to check in smoothly that night. This incident also increased my impression and confidence in Trip.com. I specifically wrote this experience to express my gratitude to the Trip.com team!

If you walk less than 10 minutes along the Kiso River from Inuyama Yuen Station, you will arrive at the hotel and you will see Inuyama Castle on the mountain behind the building. Bamboo is planted on the side of the front approach, and dry landscape water appears beautifully on the gravel. Mr. Bell, who was approaching, asked her name and seemed to have confirmed that she was an IHG Platinum member at the front desk, and a woman at the front desk came to sit and check in. Arrived around 13:00, and I made a standard room reservation using points, but it is said that it is UG to the Kiso River view and can enter the room in about 10 minutes. I gave me a drink ticket with the IHG platinum privilege, and the late check-out by 14 o'clock was also accepted with the privilege. He came to guide me that the room was ready in less than 5 minutes and said that the suitcase was already in the room. The check-in support of the front desk woman is perfect. The front lobby and elevator hall are elaborate modern Japanese-style decorations, and the pond and Inuyama Castle can be seen through the atrium glass, which is a wonderful view. The room with a view of the Kiso River has a sofa on the balcony. There is no bathtub, but it is comfortable with independent rain shower -, and the washroom and toilet are separate from each 々. There is a large hot spring bath, so there is no problem even if there is no bathtub in the room. There is a capsule coffee machine. There are geta, handbags, and yukata to go to the hot spring public bath. The hot spring public bath has an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and there is also a sauna. The hot spring while looking at the bamboo grove feels good. There are plenty of bath towels and hand towels. I ate breakfast at the restaurant, but I don't know if it was because of a platinum member, but it was crowded, but he guided me to the back window side. I get beer from the morning with a drink ticket. He poured it into a beautiful beer glass and brought it with it, but only 1 - 2 drops overflowed from the glass, but the waiter immediately apologized and wiped the glass quickly and changed the coaster. He gave me. If I'm sorry, he asks me if I should bring some buffet food, and I'm polite and liked it. Front lady, restaurant waiter, everyone can have a good service. Looking at the photo, the paint of the room and the elaborate Japanese-style interior looked dull, but the Inuyama Castle and the hotel gardens were splendidly harmonized to create a unique atmosphere, and the splendor of architects and designers was felt. To. It was a great hotel with both hard and soft.

A very ordinary business hotel. Depending on your accommodation plan, you may receive an energy drink.・There is a charge for breakfast (900 yen), but the quantity is sufficient for breakfast.・If you stay in a room on the west side, it will be hot especially in the summer because the afternoon sun comes in. However, depending on the time on weekdays, you may be able to see scenes of Self-Defense Force aircraft landing.・There are convenience stores and pubs within a 3-minute walk. -The parking lot is not very large, with only about 10 spaces, so if you check in late, you will need to park at a coin parking lot a little further away.

What travellers say about Inuyama attractions

Discover these places worth visiting in Inuyama and select a hotel nearby for ultimate convenience

Inuyama Castle

XxiaorennnnLocation is about 10 minutes walk from nearest train station. Worth visiting to take a look at one of the most original castles in Japan.

Museum Meiji-Mura

Eelsashen0529The day in Meiji Village was very fulfilling. All the buildings were moved from parts of real historical buildings. The first elementary school and university in modern Japan, as well as banks, prisons, churches, hospitals, police stations, photo studios, theaters, etc., all of these prototypes of Japan's modernization were formed during this period of opening up the country and civilization. We also learned about the immigration history of Brazil and Hawaii, saw Natsume Soseki's study, and learned about the etymology of the handle rings in the tram. It is very interesting to read Japanese culture in detail [smile]

Daishoji Temple - Daihonzan Narita-san Nagoya Betsuin Daishoji

EE17***73Mt. Narita in Inuyama. If you climb the long stairs from the parking lot, you will find the hall of worship. Be careful as the stairs slip on rainy days. From the top, you can see the Komaki area, Inuyama Castle, and the Kiso River. It is convenient if you have binoculars.

Urakuen Japanese Garden

檀十一Yurakuen, ask about tea. Ruan, one of the three national treasure-level teahouses in Japan. The owner of the room is Oda Nagamasa, who was taught by Senkyuri and is the founder of the "Yuraku-style" tea ceremony. Originally located in Kenninji Temple in Kyoto, it was later moved to Inuyama, and together with Shoden Shoin, Genan, and Koan, it is also a typical Japanese garden in Yurakuen. In addition to experiencing the tea ceremony, the ancient buildings are also worth seeing, such as Shikou, Takamon, and Busanhai. In fact, the tea ceremony of Kenninji originated from Jingshan Temple in Hangzhou, and I plan to visit it this spring. In a moment, learn to be quiet.

Inuyama-jokamachi

大海家的女汉子The castle town of Inuyama Castle is also highly recommended. Not only can you have a delicious lunch here, but you can also enjoy shopping and souvenirs. Let's go through the various alleys in the castle town and experience its unique style.

Little World

千山任我行The Wild Ethnic Museum Small World is located in Inyama City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It is a theme park that displays folk houses from the world and relevant folk customs materials. You can also consume and taste the cuisine of different countries.

Kiso River

欢乐随喜Kizengkawa, a river in central Honshu, Japan. It originated in Nagano Prefecture and flows through Jixian, Aichi and Mie Prefectures, and finally in Ise Bay into the Pacific Ocean. It is known as the Rhine River in Japan. The famous Indoshan City stands on the riverside, and you can walk along the river from Indoshan Garden Station to Indoshan City.

Tsugao Kannon Bodhisattva - Jakkoin Temple

四羊小尊Exit Inuyama Yuen Station, there are two directions: Jakkoin and Inuyama Castle. I chose to go to Jakkoin first, and then go up the river. Jakkoin has a slope. When I arrived at the entrance, I found that I had to climb up the mountain. As a result, I saw a very cute cable car-style elevator. The scenery was nice all the way up. No wonder some people say that autumn maple viewing is good. I came at a bad time, but the weather was good today. I'll post a few photos to make up the number.
