Spend omly 20 seconds checking in. Hotel is old but clean and easy access to JR station. Highly recommended for business traveller either to Osaka or Kyoto.
This place was so much better than expected. We stayed in the area due to my sister living nearby. I was worried the room would be small and have no facilities as the information was not good. However , yes it was small but so are most rooms in japan but it had everything we needed in facilities, a fridge, kettle, good bathroom , TV, a comfy bed and a desk to check in on work if needed. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The location is close to the train line but no noise at night due to good noise blocking windows. The price was very reasonable so I recommend this hotel to anyone going to that area.

Let’s talk about the hotel first. This time we booked a double room (with bathtub) for 2 people.
The aisle in the room is just big enough to open two large suitcases, but it will slightly affect walking.
The hygiene is very good, towels are changed and garbage is collected every day.
In terms of public facilities, there are indoor and outdoor baths for girls. Basic bathroom facilities and lotions are provided. If you need to cover tattoos, you can get stickers from the front desk.
I go there almost every day. I highly recommend going in the morning if you have time. The blue sky in the open-air bath is so beautiful!
As for transportation, as long as I stay near the station, it’s fine! After exiting Kanbian Station, turn right and turn left at the end. You can go directly to the second floor of the hotel via the overpass, and then take the hotel elevator. There is a supermarket on the first floor, and it is connected to the hospital at the back. The journey takes about 2 minutes, which is super convenient!
However, it takes about 40min-1hr to get to downtown Osaka, such as Shinsaibashi, and it is quite smooth to get to Universal Studios~ But in terms of the convenience of subway transfer, it is convenient and only takes a long time. It is a bit like taking the MRT in Taiwan. concept ~
Of course this is reflected in the price! The price is different from that in Osaka city.
This stay was a good experience. I will consider it next time I go to Japan~
There are very few reviews of this hotel. First of all, it is a real Japanese-style hot spring hotel. It is not convenient to go some way when JR comes out, but the hot spring is free and it is still very good! The room is relatively large, and people who don't understand Japanese may be more troublesome tossing hot spring baths in this hotel. But still like it.
Hygiene: There was a smell in the bathroom from the first day I checked in. Later, when I called someone to repair it, I just sprayed some deodorant. I hope this problem can be solved soon🙋♀️
Environment: The environment is pretty good. There are trams near the hotel🚇 and there are restaurants in the small shopping mall🍴. There are also fruit shops, convenience stores, coffee shops, etc. downstairs☝️but it takes about two minutes to walk.
Facilities: Unfortunately there is no microwave, so even if you want to buy some quick meals from a convenience store
But it is very hot and far away from the city. We live closer because we are participating in activities. If you mainly focus on tourism, it is recommended to stay in the city.
The location is perfect, as it is only a 3-minute walk from the ticket gate of JR Takatsuki Station. The facilities are new, and the rooms are larger than other business hotels, so I had a comfortable stay. Recently, hotels in Osaka and Kyoto have become more expensive, so I think the area around Takatsuki Station is also a good choice. It is convenient because you can get to Osaka Station and Kyoto Station quickly by special rapid train.
