Find the Cheap Hofu Hotels

I stayed in a single room for 6 nights for my second stay following February of this year. The hotel has 5 floors and is a 15-minute walk from the south exit of Hofu Station (Aeon side). There is also a banquet hall, dining room and wedding hall. The elevator is in front of the front desk, the number of rooms is small and the security level is high. The interior of the hotel is gorgeous, and the greenery and flowers around the entrance (car) welcome you. The breakfast hall is closed due to the corona. Single (15㎡ 21 rooms) is on the north side where you can see the direction of Hofu Station, and twins (31㎡ 8 rooms, renewed) are on the south side where you can see the greenery of Kuwanoyama Park. There is no safe and there is a wardrobe with a door. Slippers are washed and recycled. Pajamas are a dress that can be tied with a string. (Bringing pajamas and trousers) Mineral water is prepared in the refrigerator. Wi-Fi (free connection) speed is fast. [Around] For meals, I used the family restaurant Joyful Hofu Station South store (open 24 hours) which is a 10-minute walk toward the station. (Parking lot) Between the south exit of Hofu Station and the hotel, there are Aeon Hofu store, JA direct sales office (morning city), banks, hospitals, camera kitamura, convenience stores, drugstores, and gas stations (rental car). On the north side, Hofu police station, Hofu City Hall, Hofu summary court, Hofu City Youth Science Museum, and the south side can be enjoyed to the top of the mountain (107 meters above sea level) at the Kuwayama Park. At Dairakuji Temple on the northwest side of Prefectural Hofu High School at the eastern foot of Kuwayama Park, there is a grave of Fumi Sugi (the younger sister of Shoin Yoshida) and her husband Motohiko Tori, the main character of the NHK taiga drama ”Hanamoyu”. In front of Shizuka Ijuin, a Naoki Prize writer from Hofu High School. His wife, Masako Natsume, is also sleeping.

I forgot the converter adapter from AC to USB only by the mobile charging cable and went on a trip to ”youth １８”. I was happy to lend an adapter. The front desk was also very good. We also proposed a morning walk course. We went to the top of a small hill where we turned right at the end of the city hall. The city of Hofu was overlooked. SL was also exhibited on the way to the station. I was able to experience the fun of the trip and it became a good day start. Next time I want to bring my wife.

Because of the renovation, the shower room is clean and nice. Even if I entered the bed, the ceiling was clean and I could sleep comfortably. The TV remote control reaction was bad, but within acceptable range. There was also an air purifier and a reset, and the impression changed. When I first stayed, I thought about the feeling of separation. Breakfast ５００ yen character next to the front desk. Let's try it this time. 　 　

What we enjoyed in this hotel was the onsen. Rooms were tidy and personal was friendly but could not speak English.

The building seems to be quite aging, and the facility itself is not a hotel, but a very convenient hotel for training and students to stay in a group. The staff have a local goodness, and I don't want a sophisticated hotel treatment, but I can feel good honesty. If you can't use it even if you have a breakfast ticket because the breakfast business time is late, you can take out sandwiches and orange juice at the front desk. I was happy because it was very rare to have such a service. The difficulty is that the smell of the corridor on the room floor is amazing because of the old facilities. It smells like a locker in a sweaty room. I think the room is probably old style, not the standard after the 90s. I always feel humid, and I don't have a sheet or a towel. The most worrying thing was whether it was a sprinkler or a smoke detector, but it was rusty and it was working in an emergency. I thought I wouldn't be caught in the fire inspection.

It is a facility where you can stay at a reasonable price range rather than staying in Yamaguchi city. Good points ① I got on a motorcycle, but I can park in a multi-storey car park with a roof that doesn't get wet by night dew. Good points ② Although it is a business hotel, there is a large communal bath with hot springs, a stall bath and a sauna. Good points ③ Since it is located in the center of the hot spring town, there are many places to eat out and there is no problem with eating. Good points ④ The room is large and well made, and there is no feeling of crampedness with tables and sofas installed in a place where TV is easy to watch even in a single. Good points ⑤ There are many small bowls of local dishes for meals and breakfast is delicious. Good points ⑥ A place that is easy to go to sightseeing spots in Akiyoshidai and Hagi. Good points ⑦ Hotel route-in price, so accommodation costs are much cheaper than those in the surrounding hotels. ⑧ The night bar is also a tourist destination, so it is 3,000 yen per person who can drink at a gentle and affordable price. More than that, I enjoyed the good place in Yamaguchi Prefecture for the first time in a long time.
