We had 2 kids 2 adults and both kids and adults like the room a lot . It’s not a hotel with a lot of services but it’s totally fine for us ( Eg no room cleaning but basket with clean towels were delivered to the door next morning . Enough space for our luggages ( 1 big 1 medium 1 small ) Kids love the bunk bed ( altho have to remind them not to stand up when they wake up due to ceiling height) The beds on the bottom is actually big enough for 2 ppl I think, but I had it all for myself. There is a kitchen sink, fridge and even a microwave and simple utensils. 2 min away walking to morning seafood market, and there is also outdoor parking area right outside the hotel. Check in staff is nice and checkout was super fast too. We re glad we chose this hotel!
Convenient location. JR station across the street, drugstore just right next door & Hakodate morning market behind. Nice view from the room. And plus point for Conan movie fans as it’s the hotel where Conan & friends stayed in the latest movie!
Location was superb and facilities were adequate for the price. Outdoor onsen with great guest lounge on the 12F. Walking distance to all the major attractions ie. Morning Market, Red Brick House. Only drawback was pillow options runs out quickly, first come first serve & pillow served in the room is too soft. Maybe it’s a Japanese thing. Small issue & will definitely recommend!

Nice room with mountain view. The breakfast is superb. Hotel has parking but with a fee. Very close to shopping and several points of interests including the cable car station
Breakfast has very good selection but a lot of people, we ate seafood rice here and felt great! Parking overnight is 1000 yen only for hotel guest, it works for us. We did not move the car after we checked in. We walk to the foothill of the mountain, took that rope way to enjoy the night view of Hakodate. We walk around the area most of the time.
It was a room that children would be happy! When I entered the building, there were cute modern decorations, and it seemed that security in the middle of the night was also solid. We didn't go, but there seems to be a hidden spot and barbecue facility on the roof! Is the hall renewed? Like old and new? I think the cleaning was clean, but I couldn't get down because I felt like the pillows smelled like dust (^^ ;; Children who are tired of sightseeing for adults in Hakodate are also happy to return to the hotel I think it's a place is! You can stay with a large number of people, so I think it's good to stay with everyone on a trip with grandpa and grandma! However, please note that there is no hot spring!

I used it for the second time with three families and a large dog.
The building itself is used for the burial,
The second floor without heating was a bit cold.
The interior was very clean and I used it comfortably.
There is Hakodate Park just a short walk away, and you can walk.
There was a unit shower
Thank you for taking care of Yajito Onsen (6:00~21:00 reception end) for about 5 minutes by car in the morning and evening.
The parking lot was about five minutes away.
It wasn't enough to worry about.
and you can communicate with the administrator by email
I was able to use it with peace of mind. I will use it again.

GGuest UserSuper super like this hostel.
Just 4-5 stops by Tram from JR Hakodate Station, about 10-15mins rides.
I stayed in Mix Dorm but very safe n quiet.
For ladies Shower Room, only lady with access card can tap in.
Inside ladies shower room got washing machine and Dryer.
Like their Level 4 shared Kitchen which can cook, heat up and eat at this area.
I get to know few other visitor friends from different country and have a nice chat.
The L4 rooftop just outside of the shared kitchen, and viewing at the Red Brick Warehouse.
There are 2 Lucky Pierrot Burger (Crown Burger) outlet just behind this hostel, one just behind hostel and another one located at Red brick Warehouse.
They do have bicycle for renting.
Hostel main Road are facing the famous photo spot Hachiman-Zaka Slope (八幡坂) and walking distance to the Mt Hakodate Ropeway station.
The staff are very nice and can speak well English.
Sure will stay here again if I revisit Hakodate in future.
Mmichiyo-taVery near to JR Hakodate is walking distance. In winter be careful when you walk because sometimes walking on the ice slippery. We enjoy staying at Tokyu Stay, our bedroom facing Hakodate City Seikan Train Ferry Memorial Museum Mashū-maru. We also can see christmas tree at Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse - Bay Hakodate from our bedroom. The hotelhave vending machine and ice at 17 floor. Enjoy creme brulle that bought at Hakodate station in the bedroom.
GGuest UserLast time I came to Hakodate, I stayed at the famous La Vista Hakodate Annex Hotel (not the one in Hakodate Bay). The experience was very good. However, because the itinerary was a bit rushed this time, I didn't book La Vista. I temporarily chose Century Marina, which has a good reputation. The location is right next to La Vista and is also in the Kanemori Warehouse Group. It takes about 7 minutes to get there from the JR station. Downstairs is the Hakodate Morning Market.
The feature here is that guests can choose their favorite aromatherapy and pillows that they feel comfortable with before checking in. There are many choices of aromatherapy and pillows, each with a large row, and there is always one suitable for you. Aromatherapy can be placed next to the pillow to help sleep.
La Vista is more famous for breakfast, and I didn't expect Century Marina to be quite good. The variety is very rich and the ingredients are top-notch. During the peak breakfast time, there will be a queue for calling numbers. Many Hakodate-limited ones must not be missed. Beer and champagne are provided, and coffee is from the local brand Meiling, which can be taken away when you leave.
The open-air hot spring faces Mount Hakodate, and the scenery is not much different from La Vista. There are indoor and outdoor hot springs. The outdoor one is of course not to be missed, but it will be closed if it rains, so be aware of this. Take an open-air bath while looking at Mt. Hakodate and the streets of Hakodate, and then have a spa after coming out, and the fatigue of the journey will disappear. By the way, the lotion here is particularly easy to use, a local brand, the lotion is very easy to spread, and has a good moisturizing effect. It is sold in the store downstairs for 2,300 yen. It is recommended not to miss it. I searched the entire network but couldn't find it.
IIHFYSuper stay at this traditional onsen inn! It’s an easy 5 minutes walk from the tram stop and it is a peaceful and hospitable place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights with breakfast included (you have it in your room, the staff come to roll up your tatami 30 mins before - we just went to the onsen during this time) which was traditional Japanese style and delicious. The onsens are not too big but there are outdoor and indoor sections and perfectly adequate. The staff look after you warmly and we loved our experience of traditional Japanese culture here. Oh, and it’s near the Botanical Gardens where we saw monkeys bathing in the onsen.
JJesscacaAbout 10-15mins driving distance from the city center. Parking is located next to it (around 2mins walking distance) where u have to walk through an alley to hotel main door. Perhaps they can install a street light in the alley way or a back door near to parking lots coz it is quite dark and scary to walk alone.
Breakfast is lack of variety but acceptable.
Other than these, overall is satisfied.
GGuest UserWhen checking in at the hotel front desk, I met a Chinese-speaking boy who made communication smoother. He took out the hotel brochure and the hotel's free tour bus and patiently and thoroughly introduced the hotel's various facilities, venues, and the routes and rides of the free tour bus. The hotel is very new. There is a self-service luggage storage cabinet near the lobby. The room is very clean (be careful to change shoes in the entrance and then step on the carpet inside). The base wall on the second floor is painted very cutely, introducing nearby food and scenic spots. The hand sanitizer in the room smells a bit like LELABO's cypress, and it smells good after washing your hands.
Service: It is worth mentioning that the hotel front desk helped to call and make reservations for restaurants, which is really great!
Pphua.scI personally feel this hotel is a good starting point especially if you love exploring by walking.
From Hakodate Train Station, it is about a 5-10 min walk. Along the way, you'll find a number of food options (kaizen-don selection) at Hakodate Asaichi that is best for breakfast/lunch and also Lucky Pierrot (local restaurant burger chain with wide selection) across the street. There is also a Lawson's convenience store nearby.
The hotel is within walking distance (<5 min) from the Morning Market (where you can get all the preserved seafood for souvenirs) and also the must-try Uni Marumaki's (price range Y3500 and up for the recommended items). Further up, after about 20 minutes walking, is the Red Brick Warehouses (Lots of souvenir shopping and some of the more-branded food to try between meals - cakes, ice cream etc). The Hakodate Seafood Market is also around this area where fresh sashimi is available. I was surprised to find similarly priced oysters (Y900 for 2) here that's of better quality than at the Morning Market.
I've concentrated so far on the plentiful food options nearby because the breakfast buffet had very, very limited options and limited seating (see last photo). The main option I could recall was a selection of onigiri with different flavours, some western-type food, and bread. I think it's fine because Hakodate is really a foodie's place so you should try eating outside the hotel (especially sashimi and kaizendon).
The hotel itself is very clean and has all basic amenities that serve it's purpose.
SSamuel 輝very big room. Excellent location, near to JR station only 2mins walking distance! Hakodate train is near, only 5 minutes walking distance. Many outstanding restaurants are nearby, like Sushi Soup begirama, Flower see sushi. Highly recommend to choose this hotel although room cleansing services are provided once every three days
GGuest UserThe room is big and comfortably host 3 adults. We are pleasantly surprised to find a washing machine and other kitchen equipment in the room. Not to mention the walk in closet. It’s a full service apartment than a hotel room. The location is a bit far from public transport and attractions. However, the balcony with a fantastic sea view is to well worth the effort spent getting to the hotel. The hotel is also reasonably priced, considering that it was a peak season (summer vacation period).
YYen 1303The hotel is located just opposite the Hakodate JR station and bus station, very convenient to travel around at Hakodate. Necessary razors, comb, tea and ear buds can be collected from the lobby. The staff here are very polite and helpful. Special thanks to 大和and 藤田. They helped us to fill up the form to send our luggage to Sapporo and contact Sapporo hotel. (Additional price needed for the 宅急便). This makes our journey easier to go around without carrying heavy luggage up and down the JR. The hotel breakfast is just additional 1200 Yen per person. It is very worth it to have our breakfast here.
