I didn't notice it, but it said that chlorine was used for disinfection. There were several affiliated hot spring hotels within walking distance, and we were able to visit the hot springs. Other affiliated hotels had hot springs with flowing water. In the changing room, there was a poster posted at Yuzan Karaoke Box (11:00-16:00) where lunchtime karaoke and hot springs are available for up to 5 hours for 1000 yen per person. Apparently there's table tennis too. Looks like you'll have fun whether you're staying here or taking a day trip.
