The room was spacious and well-equipped, making it a very comfortable stay. The two rooms are accessed from the same entrance, but we never heard any noise from the next room.
I booked a plan that included meals (dinner and breakfast), and was very satisfied.
They left breakfast in front of our room, and we picked it up after the scheduled time. There was a wide variety of food, and it was very filling, and very delicious.
The location is difficult to find and the road is narrow, making it difficult for large vehicles to enter. The hostess spoke in an intimidating manner, repeatedly tapped the table with his fingers, and responded aggressively to trivial questions, making me feel like I was a dormitory guard or prison guard. The family is frightened and very timid, hunkering down and whispering. When I looked into it later, it seemed like they had a policy of responding hostilely to all of these criticisms, and I regret that I should have researched it before making a reservation. The room is dusty, and the floors and walls are thin and shake when you walk on them. There are many stairs, so it is not recommended for children, the elderly, or energetic young people.
Located in the virgin forest of Okuchichibu and the hotel is made by all Japanese cypress. The outdoor hot spring where the Japanese cypress and the Chichibu stone bathes were used is popular among the people. The foods are served by the local materials of Chichibu and satisfied both young and old.

The Classic & Modern Self-Styled Hotel Banba Oosone provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Chichibu will find that the Classic & Modern Self-Styled Hotel Banba Oosone is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel offers easy access to Ohanabatake Station, just 200m away. There's plenty to do nearby, with Shinmon, Imamiyabo (Chichibu Sanjūyon Kannon Reishō #14) and Otorii Gate all within a short distance. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings.
Nipponia is a classy brand built from older Japanese buildings, in this case storage buildings. Excellent chic interior design and six star amenities/bedding in the unit with very large wooden bath in the unit. No TV in our unit, which is fine. The town is not too special, but the nearby Bamba Street has a few nice restaurants amongst the dying older buildings and some new prefab ones. The breakfast was outstanding and I assume the other meals are too.
Drinks (coffee, juice) were served at the lobby lounge before check-in. There are many beautiful pots, paintings, statues of Daikoku, photographs, etc. in the hall, and you will not get tired even if you walk around the hall. The room was an ordinary rectangular Japanese-style room because my spouse had reserved a room for some reason. The sweets in the room are Kurisuke, a Japanese confectionery directly managed by Wado, and delicious chestnut buns. The hot spring in the bath is a good hot spring (mineral spring) that smells of sulfur. It is said that the local people used this mineral spring for eye drops and cuts, and it was written in the Fudoki edited by the Edo Shogunate that it was the oldest hot spring in Chichibu, Yakushi-no-Yu. Dinner was served in the room. The local sake (nigori) was reasonably priced at 1100 yen for 300cc. Dinner was a variety of dishes using local Chichibu local cuisine and local products. The amount and number of items were so large that I could not finish eating them. I thought it would be good for young people and people who eat a lot (three kinds of meat dishes). Breakfast was a Japanese set menu. The side dishes were good, but the rice was hard and not good. Coffee, milk, etc., natto, yogurt, etc. were buffet style. After-meal coffee could be taken out to the room. I felt that the hospitality was also good.
This price at this time in a double room with a reservation waiting for cancellation... I went very uneasy, but I was not worried as soon as I entered the lobby. Very clean and clean, the room is also wider and more comfortable than the usual business hotel... If you give the difficulty, our room should not put hot water on the bathtub. It was said... It was good that the shower was normal. Please try it.
As soon as I arrived by car, they welcomed me and served me iced tea and maple flavored rusks in the lobby lounge. When you step out of the lounge, you can see the mountain stream flowing below and the greenery is beautiful. According to the hotel pamphlet, it was founded in 1956. This time, my companion booked a business plan, so the room was small, but it had a nice view of the greenery. I was a little concerned because there was a cleaning related smell in the bathroom area of the room as well. In addition, when I looked at the hotel pamphlet and YouTube, there was also a nice modern Japanese room. Now, about the bath, unfortunately, the open-air bath is a paid private bath until 18:30, and you can enter freely until 18:30. The bath area smelled of sulfur, but the hot spring in the indoor bath didn't smell of sulfur. You can see the mountain stream from the bath. It was also used by day trippers. Amenities are complete. The next morning, I went to the open-air bath. It was early in the morning and it was a semi-open-air bath with no windows, so it was nice to have a nice breeze. There are 3 washrooms. This open-air bath and the bath in the room are not hot springs. Dinner was a large venue, but there were empty spaces between the tables. It was a ryokan menu such as sashimi, tempura, and chawanmushi. Grilled rock fish and miso-grilled puta were delicious. The dessert was konjac black honey kinako. The thinly sliced cold konjac dessert was also delicious. Breakfast was a buffet with vinyl gloves and masks. There were also items that had a handmade feel, such as meat potatoes and aemono. The coffee and tea were also delicious. I was worried that the tableware that I finished eating was left on the table. Next time I would like to stay in a modern Japanese room.

Mma1ma1_travelA place called one of the best power spots in Kanto. I heard from an acquaintance that "a place where God is taking a walk". It was raining a little on the day I went, so it was foggy, but it was more solemn and sloppy. It's vacant to some extent on weekdays, but I think it's completely crowded on holidays. Please note that in the case of a car, it is quite steep.
