足利市内在住の知人と飲食するので投宿しました。 本来ならばJR足利駅至近のルートイン希望でしたがコロナ患者の療養施設になってて予約不可でした。 喫煙可のツインルームを予約しましたがビジネスホテルなので狭く、荷物を置くと足の踏み場が無くなります。wifiが届かないとフロントに伝えるとルーターを貸してくれて事無きを得ました。 GW直前でしたが客室はほぼ満室、アジア系宿泊客が多くフロント前のソファーは彼らで占有されてるような状態でした。 知人とはJR足利駅近くの飲食店に行きましたがタクシー代が片道２千円弱かかったので不経済でした（駅方面への送迎バスがあれば良いと感じました） 翌朝、１Fにある大浴場に行ってみましたが大浴場というよりは中浴場という広さで洗い場もたくさん無いので寛げるような雰囲気ではありませんでした。 無料の朝食はメニュー数もそこそこあり味付けも合格点です。 宿泊客は前述のインバウンド観光客と近隣で働く作業員を多々目にしました。 近隣に目ぼしい飲食店が無いので飲酒をともなう食事だと交通費がかさむのがつらいホテルでした。
