This was the best holiday ever. The friendliest hotel ever, so accommodating and we ended up staying a further 3 nights. Stefan was most welcoming and filled us with information about the hotel. The food was outstanding giving you the menu for the next day to chose from. Breakfast had so much choice and everything was so fresh. We were allocated a dining table for the duration of our stay which was ideal. The spa was outstanding with 3 types of saunas and a steam room, outside was a pool and jacuzzis. We had 3 different rooms due to us extending our visit every room was well facilitated and beds were so comfortable also with great views. We were also given bus passes to visit the local area and bring us to the hill trekking area which brought the stress away from driving everywhere. The staff was so friendly and very professional. We can’t fault anything about this holiday it was fantastic. Thank you to Stefan Brunner, family and staff for a wonderful time.

And leaving this window door on semi-open terrace to get some air in (on the owner's advice ) we suffered a violation in the room , they stole us the key paper inserted to keep the current active ( we left the TV on and a light x make company to our dogs while we were dinner ) we had not realized that the separate on the terrace was communicating with the room next door . In fact we found it hard !!! They came in stealing the key , and then stole disturbed the day after we went out for the excursions . Fortunately the dogs were in the bathroom did not hurt him , but they were agitated . They may have believed in our distraction or forgetfulness , instead of we very sure to have left the key card in the room, we immediately denounced the fact to the owner who changed both of our key cards . Hotel Zum Goldener Adler is located on the edge of Klausen in South Tirol at 0,8 km of the railway-station. The hotel is family managed and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Free station-shuttle, Wi-Fi, sauna & fitness and parking. The breakfast is excellent. Built in 2003, Zum Goldener Adler has 37 rooms over 4 floors, and offers bed & breakfast. The hotel is charming and pleasant. You van enjoy a coffee or a drink inside or at the terrace. No lunch or diner. The rooms at the backside of the building have some traffic noise from the SS12 road. Our spacious room was nicely furnished and decorated, with a good double bed, a bench that can be turned into an extra double bed, TV, table with bench & chair, wardrobe & safe and in the middle of the room an antique Kachelofen. We had a spacious separate bathroom with toilet & bidet, bath, washbasin, and shower. All was perfectly clean. The buffet breakfast is very good: bread, rolls & toast, ham & cheese, eggs made to order, butter & marmalade, croissants & pastries, fruit & juices, cereals, milk & mineral water, tea & coffee. We found hotel hotel Zum Goldener Adler most pleasant & comfortable with nice sauna and we had a good stay. Highly recommended.

Perfection!! I came to explore the Christmas markets of Munich, Innsbruck and South Tirol. Because of Covid closures, I reworked my trip and added more time in south Tirol. Lucky for me as my two nights in Chiusa were perfection. I loved my single room!! It is clean, modern, stylish and comfortable. A great bed, a hot shower, gorgeous towels and bedding, a towel warmer… you name it!! The restaurant offers a fabulous breakfast (included with your stay). and dinner. I liked the fact the room has a window that opens (to a pedestrian lane) but unfortunately, people seem to smoke below and it come up into the room. My only complaint. I loved my stay and will jump at the chance to return again Most of the staff are not fluent in English but they make an effort to communicate.
