Discover these places worth visiting in Province of Verona and select a hotel nearby for ultimate convenience
Verona Arena
长长空一残月🌙A classical arena, certainly not the Colosseum. Very well preserved. Tickets are kind of expensive and at the end of the day we didn't pay for Placido Domingo's show but for the arena itself.
Juliet’s House
亲亲亲宝贝1234Juliet's former residence, located near the Vanilla Square in the city center, is said to have been the residence of the heroine Juliet in Shakespeare's famous Romeo and Juliet. Juliet's former residence is an ancient building built in the 13th century, with high-walled compound and round arches, and the entrance is marked "Casa di Giulietta" ―― Capreti House. It was once owned by the Capreti family of Verona Wang, the daughter of Juliet.
Lake Garda
Ttiramisu1130Lake Garda in Italy, the visual impact is here, Lake Garda in Italy, the beauty is bubbling like a dream, it feels like entering a fairyland. It is so beautiful that I dare not describe it easily. It’s just that my photography skills are limited. Friends who like it must go and see it in person if they have the opportunity
Verona Porta Nuova Railway Station
CChenhutamuVerona New Station is the main local train station, about a few kilometers from the city center. It takes three or four bus stops to get there, which is quite convenient. There is a statue of an Egyptian pharaoh outside the train station, which is quite conspicuous.
Verona Fiera
CcoldwarWe visited Fiera di Verona, 12 kilometers away. It is a sports field with frequent motorcycle and racing performances. The 18 euro ticket is not expensive. There are many shops, restaurants, clothing and handicraft markets. The ham is very famous.
Gardaland Resort
EE21***51Gardaland is as famous as Disneyland. It doesn't have the modern and visual sense of Shanghai Disneyland, but it is very suitable for babies. It is divided into three sections, among which the section suitable for babies, "for little dreamers", includes Peppa Pig Park, Kung Fu Panda Academy and Dori Farm, which are the highlights. A 2-year-old child entered the park from the opening to the closing time, and he didn't even eat and didn't play all the games or have enough. The outdoor playground has various forms of sand piles, which are actually more European and very friendly to young babies. The park ticket + 5 euros can visit the aquarium, which is a 15-minute walk outside the park. It is not big, but it is already very fresh for children. For adults, various exciting projects such as raptor also account for 1/3. There are not many people, and there is no need to queue.
All the rides are equipped with disinfectant and hand sanitizer before and after, and the staff wear masks and gloves. Everyone consciously wears masks outdoors.
There is an opening ceremony for 5 minutes at 10 am when the door opens, and a must-see at 5 pm. There is no night show in the off-season. The park ticket is 35 euros for one day, and only 45 euros for two days. Free for those under 1 meter, 30 Euros per day for those between 1-1.4 meters. A Lego theme water park will be built in the park next year. I will definitely come again.
Museo di Castelvecchio
CChenhutamuThe first attraction to visit Verona is this old castle 🏰 museum, which is reserved for the original castle. The place is quite big, it takes two hours to take a circle. Next door is the old city of Verona, and on the other side is a beautiful river.
Complesso del Duomo
CChenhutamuIn many European cities, the representative building is the cathedral, and Verona is no exception. The location of the Colosseum is equivalent to that of the Arena, but Verona's cathedral is not in the center of the city, so there are relatively fewer tourists and it is quieter.
omeo's House
鲁鲁树良This is a famous former residence, the house is general, the commemorative significance is relatively large.
