My partner and I stayed here for one night, and we cannot wait to visit again. Room was lovely, and views from the restaurant and terrace were stunning. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Staff were so friendly and accomodating, and we went for a swim first thing in the morning which was a great way to start the day. Breakfast was delicious with a tray of pastries, juices, jam/chocolate spread and cake brought to the table while you waited for your cooked breakfast option. Bed was very comfortable, however we were woken up at about 12.30 with music blaring from the apar**ents/rooms above our room, and our reception was closed at this point. Regardless, this only went on for about 45 minutes and we were able to get back to sleep. Upon checkout, we were given a bag to take away with us, which had pasta and passata inside, which was such a lovely touch. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We have only spent 3 nights in this beautiful garden. The old buildings have been renovated lovely and the old charm is feeling in the facility. From the reception to the newly opened restaurant (absolutely delicious regional food! evening) the staff was very friendly and premature. English was not a problem too. The nearness to the motorway we have seen as a advantage in the excursions, the noise is heard. For our dog the good was also a highlight! In the small park, accessible through the window, you can use the line to walk. There are also plenty of green flakes around the hotel. The buffet is rather overviewed, there are regional sauce and cheese, bread and sweet food, and fresh fruit (unfortunately no vegetables). Who prefers a shower than a bath, should ask for a room with a shower. We have got a suite with a bathtub which was uncomfortable for us. In the whole we had a beautiful feeling to be welcome, and that's the most important!

I love this place for its location near a huge forest great for running and cycling - even on a freezing winter morning! It was a good price, well organised, friendly staff and very clean. It is away from most things near an industrial estate but I chose it for the proximity to the forest and all the trails there :) It was also a simple walk to a small town with pizza and some basics. I didn't have the breakfast as it seemed quite expensive and was too busy running ;)

GGuest UserThe studio was located in the old town, 9 mins away by feet from the Saint Mary Assunta Cathedral and 12 mins away by feet from the ferries' piers. Self check in was possible (though I was offline, so opted for standard check in). Great staff. The studio was spacious, clean, with all the amenities I needed. Bed and pillows were very compfy. Wifi was available for free. Self check out was simple.

GGuest UserIt is not often that you find one of those true gems of a hotel. This is one of them. This is the hotel that you will tell people to stay in if they visit the lake Como area. The hotel is right on the lake. You should definitely choose a lake facing room. The scenery is breath taking. The hotel is in a quiet village away from the hectic and chaos of other towns around the lake. Argegno has plenty of excellent places to eat. Argegno is a quant village to explore. There is a ferry stop about 50 metres from the hotel. It is on the bus route. There is parking at the hotel. The rooms are very clean. If you are a four or five star hotel person, don’t let the three stars put you off. I think the three stars are only because there isn’t someone at the front desk during the night, you are given a key to get back into the hotel if you will be out after 10:30pm. This is an ‘oh wow!’ hotel.

GGuest UserNous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel à l'automne. L'expérience fut plutôt positive mais quelques petits détails viennent un peu assombrir le tableau. La bonne nouvelle, c'est qu'ils peuvent être gommés assez facilement. Il manque quelques crochets ou porte-manteaux pour pouvoir faire sécher les vêtements humides après une randonnée sous la pluie, d'autant que le chauffage n'est pas des plus efficace... Il manque des tentures capables de bloquer la lumière du jour pour ne pas être réveillé au lever du soleil (qui passe à travers les volets qui ne ferment pas bien... ). Dans un pays de café comme l'Italie, des sachets de ”Nescafé” dans la chambre, c'est moyen... La literie pourrait être plus confortable (matelas et oreillers très durs)... Le vin de la maison est à éviter... Bref, ce genre de détails qui peuvent facilement être améliorés. A part ça, l'hôtel dispose d'un parking vaste et accessible, ce qui n'est pas forcément le cas partout au lac de Côme. La situation est aussi un gros plus : on est au calme en dehors de la ville mais proche de tout. Un sentier permet même de rejoindre le centre du village en 30 minutes. Enfin, le petit déjeuner dispose de sucré et salé pour contenter tout le monde.

Location- hotel ideal location near to ferry . 10-15 min walk to cable car. From como railway station . Go down the stair from the exit of the station. Follow the pedestrian crossing and go down and walk straight into the town . Easy .
Hotel: super clean . Air con was super good and cold ! I love it . Room wise size is ok. Ruben was helpful and explain to us what to do for our W day stay . Where to take ferry. Where to take cable car . He was nice and smiling .
Food: I did not opt for breakfast as there are many food around . I had twice the gelato for nearby shop. It was good !
Overal. My stay in room 403 was great ! Check in and out was easy .
Please stay here. At night I also went to the square juat below and chill out with food .

SSeaside01807223560We enjoyed 5 great nights at the Hotel Bellavista, which is centrally located within easy walking distance from the ferries. The front desk staff were incredibly helping, as we were hiking in the area and need advice on transportation. We loved the terrace in the afternoons, watching the ferries and partaking in the best aperaol spritzes in Menaggio! The bar staff were welcoming, friendly and extremely hardworking. Everyone at the hotel was very professional and accommodating. Our room overlooking the lake, was large and well adorned. Hotel Bellavista is a gem in the lovely town of Menaggio!!

GGuest UserExcellent location, in the center (it's a plus but also a penalty for the noise down the street until late at night, especially on weekends). But we must be honest, there is a lot to work on the structure ... Room sold as superior but the superiors are far from it. No TV in the room and this is serious for me if you sell a 'superior' for almost €100 a night. Bad soundproofing, you could also hear the snoring of the rooms next door ... Very inconvenient the fact that it is on a third floor without a lift and therefore only stairs, and at the end of the day it is really hard, impossible for families with prams or the handicapped. Poorly maintained entrance door on the street, it borders the service door of a restaurant / bar that gives off strong smells at all hours. Appreciated the coffee maker in the room and the water, but this does not enhance the structure itself. The bidet leaked, an air conditioner mounted on the kitchen hood with drain pipe in the sink of the same. For a room sold as a Superior at almost €100 a night I would say absolutely not...Ok the cleaning and telephone courtesy of the staff (I say telephone since we have never met the owners for obvious personal reasons, nor is there a reception). to say that they were very courteous in leaving the room for us even after check-out time without a supplement, truly a convenience for those who visit and then return before leaving.

GGuest UserI had only 1 night, for a night I stayed at the hotel and ordered. This purpose the hotel worked perfectly. Clean, comfortable. Good breakfast. Super-comfortable bed and good bed linen. I didn't understand the air conditioner myself, I had to ask on the recipe. The rails on the windows work a switch. Tea and refrigerator. Very soft, huge towel for the shower. Find the hotel easy, from the station straight with one turn of 10 minutes. Near the supermarket 24 hours. The city is small, so in general everything is close. From the downside - water in the shower is bad.

GGuest UserDue to a mix up with the accommodation I was staying in, I needed to find somewhere to stay for a night quickly and Axolute Comfort Hotel came to my rescue. Large rooms with equally large comfortable bed (Medium-Firm). Very big bathroom with separate bath and shower cubicle. Shower quick to heat up and powerful. Breakfast was good, with plenty of selection and friendly staff. Receptionist was very friendly and went above and beyond for me. Iron and Ironing board available from reception. The lift is a little past it's sell by date, but otherwise I left feeling recharged and well fed.

JJack GillettOn the plus side, Hotel Bazzoni has a wonderful location, a very good view from the room balconies over Lake Como, and a terraced garden going up the hill with several swimming pools and bars. Included breakfast and a buffet supper which was good. The bar on the ground floor is also stunning. On the minus side, ***y things about the hotel are wanting. When we arrived, we were told it was fully booked and our reservation had been transferred to the sister (and much cheaper) hotel Britannia down the road. We were taken down to see it, but the room was dank and nasty, after a hard argument they agreed to reinstate us in Bazzoni. We were also chased on the final day to check out promptly - our Trip.com booking was for 11am check out but we got a call at 10.30 telling us this had been moved forward to 10am and we needed to check out promptly as they had ***y arrivals that day. The room also lacked water, coffee/tea-making facilities and slippers, and everything extra is chargable - including 5 EUR for an additional keycard (non-refundable...) and 2 EUR for a jug of water at supper. On balance, I would avoid this hotel in future - but if you chose it, come ready to argue for what you already paid for.

__TI***l5visited lake como in November 2023, I wouldn’t recommend going at that time of the year as we experienced a lot of rain, nonetheless it was still a beautiful place, with lots to do! We went to Bellagio and Varenna by ferry, which was super easy to use and both places were breathtaking
