We did not imagine to find a place of heart in this corner of Sicilia: large and always clean rooms; free water in the room always available as coffee and boiler with tisane. Available, always included in the living room, there are also beds, umbrella and sea towels. Breakfast prepared with care and varies, both salted and sweet .....in particular sweets are wonderful ...to not talk about the cappuccino prepared with love! Last cocktails the possibility of having a room with bathroom available to do a shower before leaving to take back flight. With friendliness, courtesy and family sense we have accompanied all the stay!!! ❤️

What could have been a great end to an amazing trip ended up a disaster that the hotel could have easily been proactive and avoided on many levels. When we arrived our room air conditioning compressor was turning on and off every 30 seconds. This did not start after we checked in, this was happening before we arrived. The room was uncomfortably warm, the ac was not working property. The repairman arrived after 5pm. When we returned from dinner we noted the compressor was still turning on and off every 30 seconds, but the room was cooler. We were trying to determine how to sleep with the constant on off of the compressor. Then we noticed flies in the room. There were no windows open, they were coming from the ac ducts. They were not house flies, they looked like flying termites. We began to kill the flies thinking there must be a finite number of them. We were wrong, they kept coming. Too many to kill, too many to sleep with. This is all happening between 9pm and 10pm, 10 hours after we arrived. The woman on duty contacted management and conveyed that we would not be charged for one night and that they arranged for us to go to another hotel. At approximately 10pm we packed up our things, vacated the room and walked to the hotel. The next morning we walked back with our things at 7:30am in the rain. We stored our bags and left for a tour of Palermo. There was one room available for us when we returned. We checked in and found that the room did not have a balcony. The window facing the road did not latch, the closing mechanism was faulty and did not close tight. The road is noisy with cars and pedestrians until late into the night, like 2am. Having a window that closes tightly is important. We did not feel the room was an upgrade, and would not have expected to pay more for any room we had to move to from the one we reserved. When we checked out there was no mention of a credit for the room we had to vacate at 10pm and move to another hotel. There was no understanding from the woman who checked us out as to what had transpired, nothing. We were asked to contact you. Why wasn’t this dealt with so that we were not inconvenienced by having to contact you after our return home, and spending 30 minutes going back and forth with the woman checking us out? We expected to receive a credit for the night we were not able to occupy our room, as we were told by the night manager the evening of the incident, and we were not expecting to pay for a hotel that we had to move to due to nothing we caused. You responded ”it was a surprise to us as well, but this is probably the disadvantage of being surrounded by a wonderful garden.” A bad ac compressor and dozens and dozens of flies coming out of the ac duct into our room when we are ready to go to bed had nothing to do with your garden. Based on the multiple issues with the room, and how the credit we were promised for one night stay was ignored and brushed aside is bad management. I would not return and do not rec
I still have an ear worm from the continuous whining of beach sellers. IT'S sandy, all the way from promenade to the warm aquamarine sea. It is littered with bits of plastic, cigarette ends and the occasional discarded beer bottle. You wont be left alone to relax, somebody will stand next to you evrey 10 minutes asking you to buy trinkets, drinks, very nice double bed sized' throws' or a massage (the only happy ending available is when the sun goes and so do they) There is a great place to round off your days tanning, The 'Touring Café Beach' on Viale Regina Elena Excellent food Nicely Priced and enhanced by pleasant service. Location splendida.

Our stay with Roberta and Pamela was exceptional. The location was ideal, just 2 minutes from the beach, and the place was impeccably clean. Every morning, we enjoyed a tasty homemade breakfast. Roberta and Pamela were incredibly attentive, addressing all our needs and offering excellent local recommendations. We highly recommend this spot for a wonderful, stress-free getaway!
