Outstanding
GGuest UserIt was my first solo trip to Italy. I have never stayed in any hostel ever. At first I was super scared but one of the best experience I had. Everyone at the reception was so very helpful. They helped me plan my trip. Rooms were super clean. Great bathroom. Kitchen, bar everything is there. It's 1 minute walk from Venice Mestre railway station and 20 minutes from Venezia Santa Lucia by bus. You have both options. Train would be more easy. You can Roam around at night. I wish I could stayed more. The price is pretty cheap in comparison to Florence and Rome. It's the best. Go to the Main door which is exactly shown in the picture unlike me , I was standing at the backdoor and calling for directions. 🥴🥴

AAnonymous UserLeonardo Royal is located just 10 mins walk from the bus and train station making it an easy and convenient place to stay. Rooms are clean and bathroom is spacious. The reception also taught me an easier path to walk behind the hotel parallel to the train tracks for a smooth path to walk with my luggage to the bus station to go to the airport. Breakfast spread was good. it's my 3rd time staying here. Happy to recommend.

SSofia AbdulMy stay here was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious enough for three people and clean, albeit a bit old in design, with provided toiletries except for a toothbrush and toothpaste, which was fine since I had my own. They didn't provide a kettle and water bottles in the room, but we could get hot water from the bar. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station so we dont feel tired dragging heavy luggage to hotel. Overall, highly recommended.

GGuest UserIt wasn't great visit for us. We just came im to our hotel when we saw water leaking from air conditioner while making loud noise from electrocity. We called the reception, and man came to ”fix” it. We went touring and still the same day when we came back it happend again. Again someone came to fix it but couldn't do anything about the noise. Also we were told that they can't give us different room because ”they are full” but when they saw our dissatisfaction suddenly the different room was found... 🙃 The area (Mestre) seems dangerous, full of eastern immigrants. Especially in the night you don't feel safe.

GGuest UserWe stayed three nights here. Hotel is conveniently located right next to the ferry station. Breakfast was good and has good variety. Probably the best hotel on the island until we received really bad service which lost all marks on our last morning of stay which I’ll elaborate later. We had to catch the first flight and needed to have a quick breakfast before departure after our stay. Since we stayed there for three nights, we had breakfast and also dinned in their outlets throughout our stay, we were surprised the staff told us they don’t have our records on the last morning, we are not seated for breakfast and had to wait for them, it would be better if we get seated to allow hotel to sort it out since we have to leave for our flights. Unfortunately the staff also told us “they have hundreds of guest so it’s not possible to recognize us”. “There is no record”, and after waiting for over 10 min they came back and told us again “there is no record”. I asked to sort out the matter with the manager and they just told us we can walk over to the counter while there is a long queue of guests. Without cutting the line I waited at the lobby. After the staff at the counter also did not follow up about the situation after the queue was cleared or apologize for the rude attitude. We left the hotel after they ruined our experience at Venice. The entire good experience was lost due to lack of hospitality service. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here, and it is a disgrace of the Hyatt brand.

GGuest UserIt was a nice experience overall. There is a €3.60 city tax per person per night that's added on and can only be paid in cash which was inconvenient. There is tea/coffee provided in the room, however, they also charge to refill them if you use any. Breakfast is an extra €5 per person and breakfast lasts less than 3 hours (7am-9:45am) which is a bit inconvenient if you want to sleep in or if you have to get up early. The desk staff is moderately friendly. When we first arrived they weren't too friendly but the evening and check out attendants were nicer. The room is pretty small and really only enough room to eat around the perimeter of the bed. The bathroom is decently sized, however, the shower didn't have a door so water pools out onto the floor unless you huddle close to the shower head and even then... The TV is very small and not easily seen if you are vision impaired. My biggest complaint, however, is how hard the bed was. There's little to no cushion on the mattress. I woke up both mornings I was there and had back and hip pain (I'm 28 yrs old in relatively good physical condition). It is close to sleeping on the floor. There was a closet with a nice amount of space to put our things. There is also am elevator to access the floors which was convenient on days that we walked a ton. The lobby is nice and clean and has some seating areas. We did not explore the bar or breakfast areas. The hotel itself is located near the water bus station for easy access to Venice. It is also on a strip of shops and restaurants. Granted most things on the island of Lido do close early and a lot of them are temporarily closed but still marked as open on Google maps. Plan accordingly and call places ahead of time. I've included pictures of the bathroom which was overall nice, however, I didn't take pictures of the bedroom as it was small and hard to get a good angle.

TTessaroThe hotel is good. It is located 1.8 km walk from one of the main tourist attractions. The breakfast is also good. The only thing that could really be better is the shower, the space is very small.

GGuest UserWe arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor. I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases. The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would. The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed. The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it. The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it. The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket. The safe was not working. The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them. The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working. You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool. The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off. The bathroom bin was broken and filthy The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am. I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy. We would be extremely grateful if you could offer us a credit for our next hotel booking with trip.com, we are in the process of booking our November Asia tour. Kindest regards

AAnonymous UserVery good experience in this hotel. The very large and clean room. The staff very careful and have gluten-free food. Furthermore, it is very close to the Academia bridge that crosses the great channel. They also have a restaurant in the same hotel. I therefore recommend it 100%.
