A very old hotel.
It is similar to Kaiyuan in China, but maybe even older.
The carpet is hard to walk on without slippers (the hotel doesn't have slippers).
The room is super small.
Half of the hotel is abandoned.
They call the first floor of the front desk the 4th floor.
The guest rooms are on the 2nd floor, which is actually the basement.
It is close to the airport. The hotel's shuttle bus will reach the airport in five minutes.
Looking back at the price, it is seriously high.

EErica CohnTwo stars because it is a nice hotel with comfortable beds. Thats about it. It is certainly not a five star hotel, which it purports to be. We arrived around 8pm and advised reception that we needed to leave for the airport at five am. At some point reception advises that the booking was for one person and they had to charge us for the second. I have never heard of this! So for the extra person for our 8 hour stay, they wanted €100! What the hell for? I looked on a booking sight and showed the receptionist that I could still book a room (which would come with a free bottle of wine) for two people for exactly what I paid. Receptionist kept saying that it would be more if i booked through the hotel. Lets follow the logic here. Why would i book directly through the hotel if the same room is less on a booking sight? The most irritating part is that she kept laughing inappropriately for some unknown reason. The male receptionist kept insisting that the € 100 was for the ”free” hot breakfast. We reminded him that we had to leave before breakfast was served. He assured us that there would be a cart full of food in the morning before we left. Long story short, that did not happen. There was a cart with coffee and a few pastries. But wait, there's more! The man at the reception in the morning told us that if we had asked, they would have made us breakfast. That would have been nice if it was ever suggested by reception at check in! A real five star hotel would have just taken the initiative to prepare the bagged breakfast for us given the conversation had the night before. I also enjoyed how the staff talked down to us insisting that a €100 per person euro fee is totally normal. Because I've never stayed in a hotel before! Thats sarcasm btw. Again, this certainly was not a five star experience. And just to compare apples to apples, we stayed at a four star hotel when we arrived in bologna 10 days earlier. It was 1/5 the cost, the staff much more accommodating and was just as comfortable and nice. So do yourself a favor and ignore the alleged five star rating and save your money and nerves by staying anywhere else.

GGuest UserLocation is very near to the bologna centrale station ~ 5 mins away. Good especially if you’re lugging a lot of luggages but quite a walk away from the main piazza shopping area ~ took us around 15-20 mins.
Room provides 3in1 cappucino and milk creamer! Not all hotels provide these. There are English Tv channels. There is pillow menu even! Room is clean, kettle is cleaned sparkly too.
Toilet light went faulty during our stay; flickering. We called reception to inform and she was supposed to call us back to let us know if their technician was still around at work to come and fix it or not but she may have forgotten to return us back the call. Checking out the next day so we didn’t bother but for guests staying longer you may have to call back reception to check….

SSiraI recently stayed at the Hotel NH Bologna de la Gare in Bologna for four nights. Here’s a detailed account of my experience:
Location:
The hotel is conveniently located near the main Bologna train station. This made it very handy for our day trips to Venice and Florence. The location is one of the best aspects of the hotel.
Room:
I booked a standard room. While it wasn’t particularly spacious, it was clean, modern, and comfortable. The cleanliness and modernity of the room were quite impressive, especially compared to some older European hotels.
Amenities:
The hotel has a notable rooftop bar that serves aperitif. It’s a nice place to unwind and enjoy a drink with a view.
Service:
The check-in and check-out processes were smooth. I arrived a bit before noon, and they let me check in early. On the day of departure, our flight was in the evening, and we were able to check out late for a fee of 10 EUR per hour after 12. The staff were quite friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Dining:
I paid for the breakfast, which was serviceable. It was adequate but nothing extraordinary.
Overall Experience:
The best part of my stay was the location. It made it very easy to explore nearby cities via train. The modern and clean room was also a big plus. I can’t think of any areas for improvement; overall, I’m quite happy with my stay.
Recommendation:
Yes, I would recommend this hotel to others, mainly for its excellent location and modern rooms. Unlike some older apartments in Europe, the rooms here are updated and comfortable.

A typical business hotel, location is nothing special but far from too much traffic areas. Rooms are not too big but there is all what you need. Free Minibar when you book a superior room.

GGuest UserThey gave us a family room outside of the main building of the hotel. So, we exposed the voice coming from the street. The room was large enough but at the first glance we felt a little bit unsafe, but it was OK. However, there was a draft of cold air in the room that we could not locate, Croissants at the breakfast were the worst I have ever tasted. Please change your supplier. Stuff was kind and helpful.

AAnonymous UserOur room was not cleaned very well. On one of the towes there was lipstick from a previous guest. Many of the elements and details in the room were off or broken, which is not to be expected from a 4 star hotel. The windows had no nets to stop the flies. The person at the front desk asked me for a credit card for a deposit for the mini bar in the room. Although I told him I do not intend to use the mini bar, he insisted to provide a card in order to be able to check in and as I did not want to leave my card with anyone, he wrote down my card details. The room temperature can’t be controled and it was so hot, that at one point I woke up middle of the night and thought I had died and went in hell. There is nothing near the hotel so the only water you can buy is from the mini bar and it was extemely overpriced. The breakfast was pretty much the only thing on point as the waiters were very nice and polite! All in all, for the price which was the cheapest the hotel is an acceptable option in case you value your money and can close your eyes for a few things.

放放浪旅You can leave your luggage before check-in from 8am. All the employees are kind and friendly. Towels are free and you can request as many towels as you want. It would be better to ask for at least two towels for wiping your feet. Maybe it was just the room I stayed in, but there was no electricity in the shower booth, so I took a bath using the light from the toilet. There is a locker with a key in the room. There was also a hair dryer in the room.
However, it's farther from the station than I expected. That's the only difficulty.

LLena VasileGreat hotel, very social :)) Clean, stylish, there is something to do without leaving it. It will be interesting for those who travel alone, because... There are activities, evening dances and more. For travelers from Russia with cash - keep in mind, cash free, which means you will not be able to pay the tourist tax or buy something in a bar without a card. Very close to the central station, literally a 5-minute walk, in the other direction from the center, but this was not a problem at all, there were several places nearby with espresso and food where you can pay in cash.

GGuest UserThe location although 7 km from the city center that seems near it is not! You have to walk 15-20 min to the nearest bus station and then there are only 2 buses running every hour to reach city center. If you miss the first one then you have to wait another 25 minutes for the second one!
If you are planning your trip on foot avoid this one. If you rent a car there is a parking lot outside in the courtyard of the hotel and several more just outside the hotel on the street. Both parking spots are in the open. Hotel offers a closed parking spot in its basement but on pay.
We had to change room the next day of our arrival as there was a noise coming out of the ventilation system. A supervisor came to inspect the room and after verifying our sayings offered us a room 2 floor down.
During our stay one of the three lift was out of order and it was a nightmare to come down in the morning during peak hours. All three days we were getting to lobby by stairs.
