The hotel is located in a ”peripheral” area. We were welcomed to the arrival with full privacy. We went up with the lift directly in the room from the cave and reserved parking, There was a well-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-with-w Doubts about the real cleaning of the room... (for this not 5 stars). Excellent the service of drinks and foods active all night. Breakfast served in the room at the required time and with the required quantities and foods. It is not the maximum.. But it is a negligible detail given the quality and relaxation gifts.

Podere Castel Merlo è un gioiello di pace, eleganza, raffinatezza situato in Val Calepio a poca distanza dal meraviglioso lago d'Iseo. La struttura è curatissima nelle sue architetture: spazia da una sala comune finemente affrescata ad una hall accogliente ed elegante. Il ristorante articolato in più sale culmina con la parte verandata che affaccia su uno dei gioielli, il giardino con piscina circondato dai vigneti della struttura. Le camere sono fantastiche, ampie, elegantissime letto super comodo e bagno con doccia walk in da favola. Una chicca è la deluxe, un vero sogno! Ultimi 2 consigli: prenotate una cena al ristorante e fatevi guidare in una ottima esperienza dal maitre Umbro con il quale abbiamo anche fatto una eccellente degustazione che va al di là del bere i loro ottimi vini. Umbro vi dedicherà tempo, vi accompagnerà in un viaggio che non dimenticherete perché sarete conquistati dalla sua professionalità, dalla sua schietta e genuina simpatia. Ah, la colazione una vera coccola! Beh non vi resta che prenotare, come abbiamo fatto noi per festeggiare i nostri più cari amici che hanno ricevuto per l'occasione anche un gradito omaggio dallo staff, segno di una attenzione al minimo dettaglio pet gli ospiti. Can't wait to go back. This was our second stay at the hotel. We had been so impressed in 2022 that we returned with this year with 2 other couples. Glad to say they were as impressed as we had been. The staff are super friendly and look after your every need. This included the lifeguard (Michele) who was really helpful with one of our party who has mobility problems.
