Menna who served us breakfast each morning was the star as far as the staff are concerned. She remembered our coffee order each morning. Breakfast room overlooked the pool which was a very relaxing place. The October warmth allowed us to sit by the pool each late afternoon. Air conditioning required asking the front desk to turn it in. Not acceptable. The curtains were coming off the rails. Not acceptable. The wifi was very slow. Not acceptable. Hot water was not very hot. Not acceptable. Noisy neighbours with screaming kids in neighbouring rooms. Not acceptable. Location of Caserta allows easy day trips to Naples, Pompeii and Salerno. Would we stay there again? Probably not.

The Vanvitelli is a very nice hotel.... The structure is an old house with a large courtyard which was converted into a lounge with cover over the 4th floor with a huge crown light hanging in the middle.
The rooms are spacious and clean....

Ormai quanto voglio un po' di relax in intimità è la prima scelta, servizio ottimo e cordiale e soprattutto ottima la strutta che offre tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno ad un prezzo davvero ragionevole. Ormai quando scendo a Caserta è diventato uno dei miei posti fissi dove alloggiare. Unica pecca la strada per arrivare all'hotel che ahimè è piena di buche ma non dipende dalla struttura, consiglio di non andare troppo veloce lì nei dintorni.

Generally speaking, the hotel is not too high in terms of location and cost performance, and the reservation for this trip is seriously inconsistent with the reservation description. The triple room is just two beds in an ordinary standard room, and it is OK to bring children. After negotiating with the hotel, They said that this is Ctrip’s tagging error, and it has nothing to do with them. There is nothing to do. Fortunately, Ctrip is also positive about the matter and handles it properly, and it doesn’t affect the mood too much.

Our balcony was a nice amenity and worth the increased room rate to walk out onto the balcony. We saw the Royal Palace just outside our room and a lively piazza. The balcony door did insulate the room from street noise. Traffic below the balcony was heavy from 5pm to 9pm, but quiet afterwards. The bathroom had big fluffy towels and a nice free standing drying rack. The shower was spacious shower. The bed comfort was satisfactory. There are adequate electrical outlets for charging telephones. An espresso maker in the common are was a very nice amenity. Breakfast was provided by using a coupon at a nearby cafe. The coupon included cappuccino, fresh squeezed orange juice, water and a pastry. The walnut pastry was amazing. Automobile parking was off-site. It is not included in the room rate and it is not free. Metered parking goes from 8am to 9pm. Overnight it is free. The parking pay kiosks did not accept credit cards, so you must have plenty of coins. Visitors can park only in a limited number of blue outlined spaces, located about 250 m away.

In one of the most central squares of the city, in a gentleman's palace, this B&B is in an elegant, careful residence in the minimum details, with chamber, piano, large spaces, parquet, wall boxes everywhere, Elevator, old furniture, extreme cleaning, daily change of towels... It is a great style environment where, for example, the Sequoia suite has, among the many notable details, a huge cabin and a large window bathroom with two laundry. The owner, a friendly and friendly person, makes breakfast in the morning and exchanges two chats with guests in an informal way and is able to provide excellent advice. ”At the centre” is certainly one of the most beautiful B&Bs where I have been, at a certainly affordable figure.

Used as a breaking stage of a long journey (reserved directly via email because there was no longer available on Booking) we start with a little embarrassment in the need to communicate that there is partly water in the refrigerator bar of the room consumed. It is not the first hotel that has no pins/tapperels to dark the infixes but if you put the thick tent, you need to check it all on (and don't think more points)... Otherwise it is useless! Then ... Why should the refrigerator (in the centre of the room and 1m from the ground) have the glass box? .. to have this light that breaks all night? The shower: it is more water absorbed by the wall (proofed by the bundle of the wall of the entrance) than that goes out of the shower! And finally ... because I have to choose the night first thing I want to breakfast (with a little choice) ? However ... comfortable the location in the centre and 2 steps from the Reggia!

They should change the photos on the web because they are dated and not updated! Throughout the structure you can smell the stench of sewers, not to mention the room where you can't breathe and to stay in the bathroom you have to hold your breath! The bathroom is quite rough, bidet very uncomfortable! Dark presences in the room and in the bathroom (cockroaches)... luckily we only stayed one night and imagine how relaxing it was! ”Positive” notes: Acceptable breakfast, hotel located near the palace, parking. However, we reported the problem to the reception also showing a photo and they told us: ”did you keep the window open?” We: ”well we would have liked to because of the bad smell, but since there are no mosquito nets we avoided it!” At which point they told us: ”you could have communicated it, we would have moved you to another room!” The episode happened the evening before going to bed we thought it was a single episode and instead... in the morning new presences!!! #
