Find the Cheap Bereguardo Hotels

On our way to a holiday in Tuscany we stayed here for one night. The room was quite big, clean and nicely decorated. We could park the car behind remote controlled gate. The remote control is attached to the keyring of the hotel entrance door. (Required for late return to the locanda). The staff is very friendly. The food in the trattoria was very good. A very good place to stay. This address is in our phone for the next time we need a stop over place.

Allora premetto che eravamo già stati in questo hotel nell'agosto 2022 e ci eravamo trovati abbastanza bene. L'ho riprenotato proprio perché non avevamo avuto alcun problema. Quando siamo arrivati la receptionist è stata molto gentile e ci ha dato la chiave della nostra camera (una standard come da prenotazione). Appena entrati in camera abbiamo sentito un forte odore di sigaretta, ho aperto la finestra per capire se venisse da fuori ma nulla. Sulla porta della camera un cartello con scritto vietato fumare. Allora il mio compagno torna alla reception per chiedere se è possibile cambiare camera, la réceptionist controlla e gli dice che non ci sono camere standard disponibili, solo delle suites che costano di più. Quando il mio compagno torna in camera per parlarne insieme sente ancora questo forte odore di sigaretta non presente nelle altre zone dell'hotel. Al che decidiamo che se non ci sono camere compatibili e senza odore disponibili vogliamo essere rimborsati e trovare un altro hotel dal momento che entrambi siamo non fumatori. La receptionist gentilissima parla con qualcuno e ci dice che possiamo avere una suite al prezzo della standard. La suite ha un odore molto più gradevole ed è grande il doppio. Insomma tutto bene quel che finisce bene, ma in un hotel a 4 stelle questo non dovrebbe proprio succedere (per questo lascio 3 stelle) . L'arredamento in generale dell'hotel è un po' datato. Ma ci sono tutti i comfort possibili. Larga doccia, buon numero di asciugamani e climatizzazione. Lo staff è gentile e disponibile. Buon parcheggio. Vorrei aggiungere che il personale della sala colazioni è un po' strano, mentre facevamo colazione spostavano i tavoli e preparavano già per il pranzo anche se siamo arrivati alle 9:15. Se l'orario colazione è fino alle 10, mi aspetto di poter fare colazione con calma e senza pressioni fino appunto alle ore 10. Insomma c'è margine di miglioramento.

The service was very good. I came two hours late. I called and left the key at the gate. The accommodation facilities were complete, the parking was convenient, the surrounding environment was very safe, and it was worth coming again.

Finding this gem was a highlight of my holiday in Italy. Dear Lara my host, was so personable, friendly and informative. Her good company was charming. Her recommendations were all top notch! I was so fortunate to hear some history about the house and its original occupants, which I found fascinating and uplifting. My apartment was a delight. Spacious, beautiful and spotless, it was a home away from home. In a quiet neighbourhood so not much traffic at all. I had the best sleeps there. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The ambience in Villa Marisa was calm and welcoming. I truly did not want to leave. Lara's suggestion for dinner at nearby Nuova Panarea was inspiring. I returned each night I stayed at Villa Marisa. Nuova Panarea is a 10 minute walk away. Lara kindly arranged for transport to the railway station upon my departure. This was the icing on the cake for me! Her kindness and genuine care was so heartwarming. I know I will return..
