The location is very good, there is an empty space for free parking, 24 hours of free coffee, good service, breakfast is a relatively normal breakfast in Iceland, bread, ham, fruit, cereal, milk coffee, the hotel has no elevator, the bathroom is slightly smaller.
This place was perfect, and when we return we will definitely stay here again. The guesthouse has 8 rooms, two in the back and 6 in the part we stayed in. No, there is no breakfast included, but there are two kitchens set up back to back for the guests to use and two coffeemakers (and coffee) and basic spices, oil, cookware, stove, fridge etc. You have to take a minute here and recognize where you are, This is the middle of East Bumf***, especially in the offseason. Restaurant and shopping options are limited, especially on Monday and Tuesday. So if you expect a fancy hotel and the amenities associated with it, maybe you should stick to Reykjavik, but if you want incredible beauty, a clean room with a comfortable bed and the best shower we had anywhere, and a chance to interact with fellow travelers and a friendly staff, stay here. Do some shopping first, stay a couple days, chill and enjoy all the peninsula has to offer. 10 stars if I could. Can't recommend them highly enough.
Great homestay. Public kitchen, everything! Pots and pans, cups, tableware, seasonings, etc. Just buy the ingredients in advance and make a meal together and it will be perfect! The room size is normal and the floor heating is sufficient. A five-minute drive from Straw Hat Mountain. You can walk to the supermarket around. There are plenty of parking spaces and there are gas stations nearby.
My wife and I stayed in a room on the 2nd floor, full of large rooms, and a cubicle similar to the living room, and the sofa is a sofa bed, so if there are 3-4 people, it is no problem; you can see the church directly from the window.
The room is completely slippers, very clean!
The kitchen on the 1st floor has complete ovens, gas stoves and other kitchen equipment to use!
There is a parking lot nearby and parking is very convenient.
It's a small house with beautiful snow all around.
The facilities in the room are very complete, but the smell of cooking oil will be a bit big.
The wind will be very noisy at night, slightly insufficient.
Comfortable location. Very clean and neat. View to the sea (but it is not close, or to the mountains). Breakfast is very modest - bread, cheese, ham, cooked egg. Breakfast is not available. The common shower is combined with the toilet - one for 4 rooms.
The setting of this hotel is one of the most beautiful places I've been as a hard-core world traveler: estuary (with seals), beach, grassy/mossy lava-fields, with iconic old church close by, and mountains with Bjarnafoss waterfall in the distance a couple miles away. You could spend a day within 3 miles of the hotel easily. The lounge looks over the estuary, has fantastic ambiance and just begs for pre-dinner drinks and conversation with your party or other travelers from around the world. The food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious. The rooms were warm and had to be managed with a cracked window but it wasn't that hard. This was my family's favorite of 4 hotels on our iceland vacation and if we're lucky enough to ever return to the Snaeffels peninsula we will be back here. The dog was cool too.
Very helpful staff and the bed is really comfortable. The common areas are a bit dated and the bathroom is a problem in that the position of the sink makes it hard to use and the shower floods the bathroom unless you built a towel wall to contain the water to the shower but then you have sopping wet towels to deal with. The shower setup is the kind of thing you have to put up with in India and other 3rd world countries. This place is not close to any grocery stores so you have limited food options. I had the dinner buffet which was good but fairly expensive.
This is a few turf wooden houses. The wooden house is close to the beach. The first-line sea view room. The room is very clean. The floor lets slippers in. The weather was very cold on the day I went. The heating was turned on when I entered the house. It was very warm. There is a public kitchen. There are some tableware, but it is not very easy to use. The only bad thing is that there is no WiFi. There is WiFi near the kitchen, there is no away, the overall price is good

NNICA great house, at the foot of the snow-capped mountains, super beautiful.
Driving to Church Hill for 5 minutes, I saw the northern lights at night,
The house is very clean and can cook. I also saw a rice cooker.
