Find the Cheap Tiruvannamalai Hotels

I didn't know what to expect. This was a delightful hotel, set a little outside of the town. This turned out to be a blessing. The town with the temple can get extremely noisy. Every full moon tens of thousands of people descend on the town, the noise, the rubbish they generate is unmentionable. It takes two days to clear. The hotel is away from all that. Away from all the noise. At the same time you have beautiful views of Arunachala. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating. I can't eat chillies , and they prepared special food that was tasty and without chillies. A perfect stay highly recommended.

This is the best hotel to stay in when you visit Tiruvannamalai! The reception staff are very attentive and helped my group from Australia with every request. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the food is very good in the restaurant. Mr Rasool and his team could not do more for us. It really is a welcome oasis from the chaos of this holy city. Room is comfortable and breakfast is very tasty. In breakfast we served with idly, vada, poori and dosa. All items in breakfast are very tasty. The room is big enough for 3 persons. Extra bed is provided. Staff also very nice. Overall we had a pleasant stay at thai residency.

Renovation is going on and there are scaffoldings and net all around. There was no water supply in the basin and faucet which I reported. After sometime one person came and turned the tap and water was coming. He said it sholud be turned like that as if I don't know! Water was coming very slowly. Window AC was making a lot of noise. Perhaps it is badly in need of service. I could spot two naphthalene balls in the room! Perhaps there are a lot of insects. Some bad stench was coming in the room then and there. Bed linen was not changed. Only after repeated calls it was changed. Restaurant ambience needs improvement. Food is not bad.

I chose Ra***a Towers primarily because of the location and its website. The location was excellent for me, just a few minutes walk from the entrance of Sri Ra***a Ashram which was literally at the end of the street. (I discovered a nearby cafe/restaurant called 'The Dreaming Tree' which is one of the main places for meeting Westerners and which is also just a few minutes walk away plus Ganga Ma's place is also close by for Satsangs). The staff were always friendly, approachable and helpful (and arranged a taxi for me in advance from Chennai airport direct to Ra***a Towers). The attached restaurant served traditional local food which was fine although I preferred to buy my own cereals and fruit for breakfast which I prepared in the kitchen area of my room. My room was fine and everything worked, including the hot water. At night, monkeys would sleep against my bathroom window and on my balcony! Another feature of this hotel I liked was the rooftop terrace which had great views of *********a. The website was a little misleading about the meditation halls though, when I was there the meditation halls appeared to be being used as dormitories. And the library was out of use while I was there too due to building work. Overall though, I was happy with my stay here: the place was clean and secure, and seemed relatively high-end compared to ***y other places in Tiruvannamalai.

Stayed here for a night to visit the temple on a trip from Bangalore. Reserved via *********** and no advance payment on booking was requested, we paid after we reached the hotel. We were given executive twin and junior suite rooms. Parking is available for several 4 wheelers, Humble staff and excellent service at reception, restaurant and even security and bell staff. Good food - out breakfast was complimentary and came in with booking and had a decent variety of good tamilnadu fare. We also had lunch and dinner here and tried a lot of it from Hara bhara kebab, pizzas, aloo Paratha, paneer gravy and some soups - all were excellent, we did have some complaints on a burnt pizza which they replaced with no questions asked which was well appreciated. One of the rooms had a mountain view which was great. Good spacious rooms as well, only negative to call out was that one of the rooms was not cleaned properly, there was hair and dirt on a pillow and bathrooms otherwise good stay option and about a km from the temple as well! On checkout, they also gave us a photo of arunachaleswar and temple vibhuti which was a nice gesture

The ambiance is superb, i highly recommend this resort, the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The cafe was cozy and charming atmosphere is created by the warm lighting, rustic decor and comfortable seating

Stay was planned out of 5km drive from city center, where we can find one or two hotels, hotel has parking space, play area and dining. Rooms are convenient under budget 1800 double bed room during saturday's.

I am regular customer for the past eighteen years and that’s the compliment. But, this time during our single night stay in four rooms on 21st September I met the Resort Manager Shri. Lakshmi Narayan Sir and mesmerised by his 100% hospitality during our entire stay time. Special mention to Mr. Karthi who extended fullest politeness towards us in all aspects. Even after so many years ‘ Sparsa Tiruvannamalai ‘ has maintained luxurious and comfortable stay for the customers. Kudos to the entire team See you once again.. soon Suresh Kumar Coimbatore
