Find the Cheap Gokarn Hotels

This hotel.is centrally located in Gokarna. The important temples are close by . Other places are easily accessible.This is best place to stay for a tourist family new to Gokarna.Rooms are good ,the hotel cleanliness is excellent,price quite affordable and breakfast are good .The staff are polite and willing to help . Foreign tourist can communicate in English with staff.Rooms have all essential facilities.

I have stayed in hotel with my family and felt very safe. Let me share my experience from the start. It is near to gokarna road railway station and reachable within 20 minutes. It is situated at the center of the gokarna from where you can go to all the beaches and temples with auto. You can find the auto’s just opposite to the hotel. Room, bed and bathroom are very clean and maintained properly. . It is newly built hotel. Staffs and security guards are very interactive and helpful. It has a big reception area with full of good sofa’s where you can have a comfort seat. Best part is the attached udupi restaurant which is pure veg and you will not regret even if you are non vegetarian. I am also a non vegetarian but due to the high quality good food, i never ate outside during my visit and also there are not much options for food outside and being such a good restaurant in hotel itself, i felt lucky. This is the best family restaurant in gokarna. People will not regret after booking this hotel.

Very clean and all the basic needs fulfilled at viraz valley. The service is prompt. View is also good. Food is good too. They would arrange two wheelers for rent also. They helped us plan the sightseeing places. Overall a great stay with affordable prices

Best service and hospitality. Room service and any special request used to take 2 mins and someone used to be at the door. They even provided face pack, face scrub and used to replenish those. Free snacks and chocolates used to replenished daily. We got a plum cake and port wine complimentary on Christmas. Food was great. The view from property was great. They even provided a cloth stand to dry your clothes after the beach. Beach was few meters away. A lil trek downwards. Restaurant area had a beautiful sunset spot

Om beach resort is 5 km from the beach on Om Beach road. It is a got run venue with mostly lovely staff except the manager. As we arrived he started yelling at us that he had tried to contact the tour co to find out where we were. This was a clear booking months in advance. We arrived at 1.45m....not late. He relentlessly yelled at us as if his problems were ours. We think he hates his job. The only conclusion we can come to. With this welcome? We proceeded to complete documentation, were given details of meal times, no WiFi and directed to go the dining area & eat lunch. No indication where our room was. Never informed about a pool existing. Once lunch finished we finally found someone who could help.us find our room. The room was a double room, spacious with inside and outside seating, comfy bed and a clean bathroom. There was air con, fans and filtered water in jugs provided. By far all the other staff apart from the manager were friendly, helpful and professional. The meal times were set and food was presented buffet style. The meals were quite adequate. The gardens of the property were delightful. A lovely setting. There was also a really pleasant *** who could take you down to Om Beach or Kudle Beach at 7.30 am and 4pm. A welcome service. Sadly none of this information had been told to us so it took time to know what was happening. The staff knew the routine but it would have been good to give a kind welcome and a broader low down of what the property has on offer at check in. This is an ideal spot to be away from chaos once you get past the front desk😊

You will be completely bowled over by the beauty of this property from the moment of arriving at the gates . The vistas are stunningly beautiful and the rooms very tastefully decorated and incredibly comfortable It is a fabulous place for some relaxation after a hectic tour and we were lucky enough to spend 2 nights of the 4 in the company of the lovely owners , who treated us to a sensational open air dinner on their last night. However, it is a homestay rather than a hotel and that means that you have to be lucky as far as the other guests are concerned : Since the rooms can accommodate families, you may find yourself confronted with screaming toddlers and noisy facetime calls by the pool, as happened on our last day - which somewhat eclipsed the wonderful experience that we had had until then. For this reason, we cannot give this 5/5 especially as we found the service and the food a bit hit and miss. Our next stop was Ahilya by the sea in Goa - a similar small heritage style property - which offered a far greater choice of food with far better portions / presentation and impeccable service Like other reviewers, we also found the communication difficult at times as it is essentially via whats app . We were also surprised not to be given a map of the area and better information of what to do, especially when renting a motorcycle from them. The information on activities on offer was quite random - pushed quite heavily upon arrival before you've even unpacked and without any details or pricing . Despite promises of this being sent to our room, it never arrived - not that this mattered as we essentially wanted to relax but other guests staying at the time were offered a complimentary boat trip that was not even mentioned to us To round it off, at the time of checkout - we found items on our bill that we had not had and likewise, items missing so our final impression was that this is a stunning but rather chaotic property . We are still glad that we went and feel privileged to have stayed there but the overall service standards fail to match up to the price tag
