Stay was good. Rooms quite big and comfortable. Location is perfect for those who are visiting bharat sevashram sangh. It is exactly 5 min walk away from hotel. We ordered food from hotel itself. Food was really tasty except for the oil that was bit high quantity. It is just of personal opinion. Else those who are okay with normal north indian food, won't be disappointed. I have already given feedback to hotel staff, only major concern is hygiene in bathrooms. Not expected from a hotel of this type. Else everything else is good. Service, food quality and stay was overall satisfactory. Hope they take the feedback positively and improve

This is about the restaurant...food is good ..one uncle waiter is there.his behaviour is very polite..but the manager who is taking bills never return your changes..they charged me for a lemon also😊 The bill was 604..i gave 1000 ..but he returned me 2 rupees less..now again in dinner it was 422..again he was returning 1 rupee less..i asked why it is like that..he told no change..i have 2 rupees and asked him to returned full 80 rs..he was calculating again..such a dumb fellow..but food was good and waiter was good

We got a room for 4 with two double beds. It was a average room. For me it is an overrated over budget room. Next thing was bathroom which is very poor. The image we have seen is not the real one. The bathroom is very dirty and very bad.

I stayed at viraat inn gaya for 2 days from 24th november to 26th november 2023. Rooms were cleaned. Toilet and bathroom were also clean. Staffs were very helpful. Location of the hotel near rail station. My experience was very good in this hotel.

We stayed here in Feb 2024 for four days ***** with family (three rooms). We were very impressed with this hotel, from rooms to service to food. The hotel is very well managed with staff going out of their way to help with little things. For eg., one of us was unwell and the staff got us medicines from the medical shop. They will also arrange vehicles for your trips to nearby bodh Gaya or longer day trips like Nalanda. The restaurant also has very good food with reasonable prices and different cuisines. You won’t have to worry about food if you are staying here. Special thanks to Pankaj Jha (hotel manager) and Raju Manna (restaurant manager) for making our stay wonderful.

Location was good, mattress was too soft thus not very comfortable, complimentary drinking water was not provided. Cloth hanger was not made available. 24 hour time for one day in lieu of 12 to 12 will be helpful and cost effective for this holy city where lakhs of people visit this city. Tar-riff was higher compared to facilities provided. No system of checking room at the time of checking in and out exists.

GGuest UserGood place to stay at a very reasonable budget. Staff are very cooperative and adjustable. They let me use my room even after check out as my train was late by three hours. Food is good.It is very close to Gaya Station and has lot of eating out options nearby.

GGuest UserRooms are basic but comfortable and spotlessly clean. Bathroom was spacious, clean, plenty of hot water. The only negative is that there was no shower enclosure, so when you took a shower, most of the bathroom floor got wet. We had a very good, inexpensive, vegetarian thali for dinner and a substantial breakfast (included in the nightly rate. The hotel is a training venue for young men hoping to get into the hotel business. They seem to be generally responsible for the daily functioning of the hotel and they provide friendly and excellent service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to bodhgaya.

LLikeToTravel79Good Things: ----------------- 1. Best reason to choose this hotel was that this is centrally located in Bodhgaya. All major temples are within walking distance i.e. 5 - 7 minutes walking from hotel except the Bodhi temple which is about 12-15 mins walk from the hotel. If you do not like walking, there is plenty of toto / tuktuk available. Negotiate before getting on one. They tend to quote higher rate. 2. Room and bathroom were big and clean. 3. Staff is very polite. The front desk ***ager is Bengali and will help you with information you want. The kitchen staff requires a special mention. They were very polite and always ready to help. 4. The restaurant food is freshly made, tasty and served hot. You would have to order in advance to get it in your required time. 5. Ample parking place, something which is not very common in Bodhgaya. For most of the hotels we saw where parking is available, either you would have to park in the road in front of the hotel or they have a narrow stretch (within the hotel) where you have to keep it. Here the entire hotel is surrounded by a compound wall and you can keep at least 10 cars simultaneously. 6. 24 hours hot water in the bathroom both shower and basin which was a relief as we visited in peak winter. Not so good things: ------------------------ 1. Restaurant food is costly with respect to Indian standards. 2. The property is old one. Though there is ample space like a small lawn and parking, it could be improved a lot. 3. The rooms are not noise proof and there is a semi transparent glass at top of the room entry door from where the lobby lights keep the room illuminated (at least to my standard) at night. 4. Fixed menu breakfast. Even after our request to the hotel to have a minor tweak, it was not entertained. The same was done in other hotels we stayed before. 5. Though the hotel has option to provide room heater, it was not specifically stated or informed to us. During winter night temp in Bodhgaya drops to 5 - 6 degrees centigrade, and if you visiting during this time, please do not forget to ask. The blankets they provided are not at all close enough to keep you warm in night at this temperature. 6. It seemed to me, that front desk hotel staff is more eager to get a good rating by talking you through, rather than keeping the service level high for all guests (their service towards Indian travelers may vary a bit) same throughout your stay. 7. Coming to the last point, they have a pet dog who roams around freely in their premises during morning. Even though I am a dog lover, every one might not be and travelers with small kids need to keep caution.

GGuest UserQuality wise it is a good apartment for stay, away from direct main road, so the vehicle disturbance is almost zero. The behavior of the owner is well good. A bathtub is available in bathroom. Two to three car parking is available. Fooding arrangements and mahabodhi temple is within 2-3km and e-riksha is available till 10pm.
