I was disappointed with this hotel,, besides the noisy (by other guests / no one laughs loudly in the middle of the night And the road down and forth is noisy),,, so the room is not cleaned when we don't ask the staff. Then it's already booked with full payment,, Forced to change the hotel because it is not convenient

JJasonVery pleased to have found a nice hotel in the Penuin area, and smack next to the Grand Batam Mall as well.
Check in was very quick and fast, and we were in the rooms within 5-7 minutes of checking in. We got a twin room with south facing windows which was nicely equipped with international plugs and well thought out room lighting modes on the control panel. Airconditioning was good and toilet ventilation was also pretty decent.
I used the gym which was nicely equipped for weight training as well as some cardio machines, and the pool was pretty nice.
Beds were comfortable and I had a great sleep.
Some areas for improvement in the housekeeping area:
1. There were oil stains on the room windows that was not cleaned for the duration of our stay (likely from previous guest pressing his/her face against the window)
2. The tissue box on the bathroom counter needs a re-think, as there's a hole on the bottom, the tissues get soaked when water splashes out of the sink onto the counter
3. Water pressure for the sink needs to be adjusted, it's too strong and splashes all over to the unsuspecting user
4. Shower pressure was good but the shower head was split open (did not affect the functionality)
All in all, very nice and I would stay here again and would recommend it to my friends as it's probably the nicest hotel in the area currently.

AAD.CHLast minute booking. Room was sufficient. Basic amenities. Breakfast was great, lots of options. Location wonderful. Grand Batam mall was within walking distance, many massage places, lots of food options. A2 food court 10mins walk away.
However, quite dim surrounding the property at night if you are walking back from the mall or A2 food court .

BBintang SingaporeHotel staff are very friendly. Rooms was very clean with full toiletries. The two huge crystal chandeliers in the lobby was impressive. Chinese New year decorations was very apt and beautiful. Breakfast spread was first class. This is definitely a go to hotel in Batam as it was strategically location in the heart of the city.

Tall hotel building located on hilly top showcase view of nagoya city served by 2 lifts that efficiently bring guests up and down.
Staff are all very friendly and help right from the time you enter front desk to room service to restaurant. Restaurant manager would assist you in any way possible. Professionals indeed.
Provide massage service, but by female therapist only.
All amenities safe box aircon working superbly well. Would definitely return. Hope for more promos to make stay here more attractive.

Very near 300m walk to Jabal Arafah masjid that let's you 3 quarter way up the reasonably steep hill, through the convenient access gateway.

The rooms are basic. The breakfast was good enough with a wide selection.

JJulieLocation is great for those who likes BCS mall. Staff service was nice and great however the door card were given us a few issues as it couldn’t access the lift. A few customers faces the same issues too. Overall it’s good experience and room is very wide. Not my first time staying in this hotel and would definitely come back again. A2 food court is just right below. Breakfast is just nice too.
