The convenience of being so close to the airport cannot be overstated, especially when you want to avoid the hassle of long commutes. However, its distance from the city center is a drawback. For those planning to explore Yogyakarta’s main attractions, the travel can feel exhausting, especially with traffic.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day. The ambiance of the hotel was quiet and serene, making it suitable for travelers seeking a tranquil getaway. However, the amenities could use some improvement. While the basics were covered, I noticed a lack of certain facilities that are typically expected, such as a fully operational lounge.
During my stay, the lounge was not open, which was a bit disappointing as it limited some of the expected conveniences. The available amenities were functional but felt basic, catering to travelers with minimal needs. If you’re looking for a luxurious experience, this might not be the best fit, but for a short, peaceful trip, it does the job well.
The dining options were decent but not remarkable. There was a good variety of dishes, and the quality was satisfactory, though it didn’t particularly stand out.
Swiss-Belhotel Airport Yogyakarta is a good choice if you prioritize convenience and peace over proximity to the city’s main attractions. It serves as a functional stopover for travelers who value being near the airport and are okay with fewer amenities. VVorobevaGood service, clean, comfortable soft bed, nice hotel to stay if you arrive late or to depart early located near airport. Hotel provides free shuttle minibus service departing from hotel starting from 4a.m. every one hour. It takes 5 minutes from hotel to the airport and understand they pick up arriving guests around 4.10a.m. and so on every next one hour. Hotel offers free tasty welcome natural drink (was house made strawberry juice when I checked in) which is nice in hot Indonesian weather. Enjoyed my stay here and would come again.

GGuest UserThe hotel counter is situated at the arrival hall. The staff accompanied me all the way to the hotel, which is at level 2 of the arrival hall. She even offered to help me with my wheeled luggage and did checking-in for me. Again she ccompanied all the way to my room which was the last room at the corridor. Very impressed by her customer service.
As for the room it's quite decent, bed a bit low to me. There's stains on the sink. The water pressure is just nice, just that the room short of hair dryer. Good for overnight stay no need to wake up too early for the morning flight.
